After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 902: Chapter 906: I Like Everything About You

Luo Xiaoqian also didn’t shy away and hide under the covers but bravely looked into his eyes.

”Do you like it?”

Leng Zimo laughed, pulling the thin blanket over her body.

”I like everything about you.”

She watched his eyes, her lips slightly swollen from his kisses curving upwards contentedly.

Seeing him turn away, she thought he was leaving and quickly sat up, ”Zimo...”

Turning his head, he came back, bent down, and kissed her face, ”Don’t worry, I’m just going to check if the door is locked, I’ll be right back.”

He grabbed a pillow and tucked it behind her back, then turned to leave the room, carefully checking the front and back doors downstairs to make sure everything was secure. He returned to the kitchen, cleaned up the clothes they had ripped off each other, then went back upstairs to look in on Mo Mo in her bedroom, before finally returning to the guest room where she was.

On the bed, Luo Xiaoqian still had her eyes wide open, showing no sign of sleep. Reading the attachment in her eyes, he came over again and stroked her hair, ”I’ll be quick.”

True to his word, he quickly washed up and came out wrapped in a towel.

His body was still as proportionately beautiful as it had been five years ago, but she no longer blushed just from looking at him as she had when they first got together five years ago.

Turning off the main light, Leng Zimo pulled back the covers and lay down beside her.

”The bed is a bit small. Shall I go back to my room to sleep?”

The guest room wasn’t big and could only fit a single bed, which was a bit cramped for two people.

His arm reached over, holding her close, ”I want to hold you as I sleep.”

Luo Xiaoqian didn’t mention leaving anymore, just snuggled closer into his embrace.

For five years, she had been fantasizing about one day being able to peacefully sleep in his arms, and today it finally came true. She was, of course, reluctant to leave.

Softly stroking her long hair, he felt the necklace at her neck with his fingers, then pinched the key hanging from it between his fingers.

”This is a real key, isn’t it?”

Luo Xiaoqian felt a bit uneasy, watching his expression, she gently responded, ”Mm.”

”Why?”

”It’s a very important key, and I didn’t want to lose it.”

His slender fingers toyed with the key, ”How strange, why does this key seem so familiar to me?”

”Well, keys all look pretty similar...” Luo Xiaoqian was hesitant to delve too much into the topic, so she took the key from his fingers and snuggled up to his chest again, reaching her arms over to hold his face, ”Does your head still hurt?”

Leng Zimo shook his head gently, ”With you as my remedy, it stopped hurting long ago.”

Every time he’d had a headache, it had to be suppressed with medication, but during the two times he was with her, he had managed to suppress the pain without needing drugs.

”That’s good.” She smiled, knowing he wasn’t simply teasing her because she understood his expressions.

Seeing that she didn’t seem sleepy, Leng Zimo simply started chatting with her.

”Why did you keep avoiding me before?”

”Did I?”

”At the cemetery, at Fulai Beauty, and in the elevator that day, you always looked like you wanted to run away, as if I were some kind of pestilence.”

She lowered her head, her fingers lightly tracing patterns on her chest.

”That’s because I... I was afraid you were a bad guy.”

Leng Zimo raised an eyebrow, ”Do I look like a bad guy?!”

”A big guy suddenly coming over to chase me, isn’t that a lot like a bad guy?” She blinked at him, ”Speaking of which, why were you always chasing me?”
