After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 942: Chapter 946 Although Forgotten, Still Remembering

As Leng Zimo’s personal driver, Xiao Ding can be said to be the most direct witness of the emotions between Leng Zimo and Luo Xiaoqian.

He knows almost everything about the two of them, and he is, of course, most aware of Luo Xiaoqian’s place in Leng Zimo’s heart.

When Luo Xiaoqian left, she wrote five letters, one of which mentioned Ailin. To protect this secret, Leng Zimo has already forgotten about Luo Xiaoqian, and Xiao Ding knows it too.

These past five years, he has stayed by Leng Zimo’s side, no longer just a driver but also his bodyguard and assistant, accompanying Leng Zimo to Hong Kong, Taiwan, the United States...

That man often suddenly stops to stare at something or daydream on a certain street.

Such as on Taiping Mountain in Hong Kong, or a certain rainy night...

Xiao Ding is very clear, although Leng Zimo doesn’t remember Luo Xiaoqian, deep in his consciousness, those memories remain. Whenever he encounters seemingly similar events to those experienced with her or familiar places, he shows a lost expression as if he’s misplaced something but can’t recall what.

Watching Leng Zimo take painkillers time and time again, Xiao Ding’s heart aches along with him.

Luckily, now, Luo Xiaoqian has finally returned.

Seeing this girl he hasn’t met for five years, he is so excited that he becomes somewhat incoherent. Luo Xiaoqian, however, understands his meaning, sensing the man’s recognition and concern for both Leng Zimo and her, her heart is filled with gratitude.

”Xiao Ding, thank you, thank you for watching over Zimo all these years!”

Xiao Ding shook his head, ”You’ve got it wrong, it’s not me watching President Leng, it’s President Leng who always remembers you, though he forgets, he still remembers.”

Over these five years, he never felt moved by another woman because even though he forgot her, he remembered that love.

Realizing he was still holding Luo Xiaoqian’s hand tightly, Xiao Ding hurriedly loosened his fingers and said apologetically, ”Sorry, Miss Luo, don’t tell President Leng about this, he would kill me!”

He is clearer than anyone about the man’s possessive desire for Luo Xiaoqian.

”I will keep it a secret,” Luo Xiaoqian smiled, ”But, you also have to keep it secret for me, now’s not the time to tell Zimo the truth, so you... don’t recognize me, understand?!”

”Then... Are you still leaving?!” Xiao Ding asked.

Luo Xiaoqian shook her head gently, ”I’ve been waiting for this day to return for five years, this time, I definitely won’t leave again!”

Xiao Ding deeply observed her for a moment, didn’t ask much, just nodded.

He believed her, knowing this decision must be for Leng Zimo’s sake.

As long as she isn’t leaving again, as long as they can be together again, he is willing to help in any way.

Luo Xiaoqian made simple arrangements, then Xiao Ding and Shen Yizhou returned to the hospital room first, while she came out from Shen Yizhou’s office to the door of Leng Zimo’s room number 5607, gently knocking on the door.

”Coming!” Xiao Ding acted cooperatively, walked to the door to open it for her, upon seeing it was her, he smiled and made an OK hand gesture to indicate that Leng Zimo hasn’t noticed anything unusual, while feigning ignorance, ”Who might you be?!”

”Is Zimo here?” Luo Xiaoqian asked calmly.

Xiao Ding then let her into the room, ”President Leng, someone is here to see you.”

”Hey, Zimo, a beauty is here to see you.” Shen Yizhou said with a smile.
