47: Chapter 47 Restaurant Disturbance 47: Chapter 47 Restaurant Disturbance “Let go!”

Suddenly, a voice roared out, and Dong Li, seemingly out of nowhere, positioned himself in front of the girl named Wen Ya, fixing his gaze on the gang of hooligans.

“Kid, you wanna play the hero, huh?

You got what it takes?”

The hooligan with green hair prodded Dong Li’s chest with the steel rod in his hand, his face filled with disdain.

Bang!

A sharp sound erupted as Dong Li grabbed a bottle and smashed it directly onto the green-haired thug’s head, stunning him on the spot as blood gushed from his head.

Then Dong Li kicked out, knocking the green-haired thug to the ground.

For a moment, the gang of hoodlums didn’t know how to react, as they hadn’t expected this seemingly thin and weak, honest-looking guy to have such guts.

“Bastards, attack, waste this kid!

Motherfucker dares to hit me, he’s got a death wish, huh?”

Green Hair, clutching his head, roared furiously, and then the gang of hooligans, armed with their steel rods, charged at Dong Li, causing Wen Ya to scream in fear.

The other patrons in the restaurant hurriedly moved to the side.

Seeing the mob rush towards him, Dong Li’s complexion changed, and just as he was about to charge in for a fight, Xiao Yifeng by his side flung a bottle over.

Bang!

A thug wielding a steel rod was hit in the head by the bottle and groaned as he fell to the floor.

“Can’t even have a peaceful drink, what a nuisance,” Xiao Yifeng murmured, standing up and throwing several punches in quick succession.

Before the gang knew what hit them, they were all down on the floor.

Dong Li watched Xiao Yifeng’s moves, his eyes shining with surprise.

“Get lost!” Xiao Yifeng coldly snorted at Green Hair.

“You punks, just you wait,” Green Hair said with a dreadful look at Xiao Yifeng, but after a swift kick from the latter, he was kicked out like a soccer ball.

Whitened with fear, the whole gang scrambled away, tumbling and fleeing.

“Are you okay?” Dong Li then turned and asked the waitress named Wen Ya.

“I’m fine, thank you,” Wen Ya said with a genuine smile toward Dong Li.

“Brother, thanks for what you did just now,” Dong Li then turned his attention to Xiao Yifeng.

“No need to be so formal, since I’ve had my drink, and it’s getting late, I’ll be on my way.”

“Could I get your number to thank you properly later on?” Dong Li quickly said.

Xiao Yifeng left his number and walked out of the restaurant, his eyes discreetly sweeping the surroundings.

He headed straight to the university parking lot, got into his car, and a playful smile appeared on his lips as he drove the Aston Martin away from Tianhai University.

About ten minutes later, Dong Li also left the restaurant and headed towards the university.

Just then, Green Hair and about twenty hooligans with steel pipes charged towards him, surrounding Dong Li.

“You punk, where’s that guy?

Ran away, huh?

But having you is enough.

You had the nerve to hit my head; today, I’m going to make your head bloom.

Boys, hit him!”

With a furious look, Green Hair glared at Dong Li and gave the order.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Just at that moment, a series of muffled sounds erupted as several men in black suits suddenly appeared around them.

They struck like lightning, incredibly fast, and in the blink of an eye, all twenty or so thugs were down on the ground, completely unable to resist.

Green Hair was dumbfounded once again, staring blankly at everything happening before him.

“Young Master, the Chairman has asked us to bring you back,”

said a middle-aged man in a suit and sunglasses, standing next to Dong Li with respectful deference.

Dong Li’s brows furrowed slightly as he walked to the side, and the middle-aged man glanced at Green Hair with cold eyes, “Break his limbs and throw him into the sea.”

With a thud, Green Hair knelt on the ground, his face turning pale, his eyes filled with terror.

In a luxurious villa area in Tianhai City, a black Audi car slowly arrived at a huge mansion, Dong Li got out of the car and walked into this heavily guarded villa.

In the lavishly decorated villa’s main hall, a slightly overweight man in his forties or fifties, wearing traditional Chinese attire, sat on the sofa.

He exuded an air of authority as he smoked an imported cigar with one hand and twirled two baoding balls with the other.

His eyes were slightly narrowed as he watched Dong Li walk in, only opening them wider to blow out a ring of smoke.

“So you’ve finally decided to come back?” the man said in a deep tone.

“The incident with Yuanyuan, that was your doing, wasn’t it?” Dong Li asked expressionlessly, looking at the man before him.

“I told you long ago that such women are only after money and have no real feelings for you.

But you, lacking intelligence, naively thought you had found a love to last till old age.

Well, how about now?

Are things clear to you?”

The man said indifferently, glancing at Dong Li.

Dong Li’s eyes hardened as he retorted coldly, “Mind your own business.

I’ve said already that I just want to be an ordinary person, and I want nothing to do with you in any aspect of my life.”

“No matter how much you deny it, you can’t change the fact that I, Dong Xiaotian, am your father.

With my status, do you think it’s possible for you to live as an ordinary person?

In this world, a man needs power, status, and wealth to get everything he wants, including women.

Without these, you’re just trash that can be humiliated and discarded at will,”

the man said as he threw his cigar on the floor, his face filled with authority.

“Oh my, you two just met and are already arguing, what is this all about?”

A charming voice suddenly rang out as a glamorous-looking middle-aged woman, dressed in a red silk gown, walked in with a seductive allure that could captivate any man.

“Ah Li, you’ve just come back, why don’t you have dinner with your father?” the woman asked Dong Li, her gaze fixed on him.

“No need, I lose my appetite just looking at you,” replied Dong Li coldly.

“You bastard, how dare you speak to your Aunt Xiufang like that?

Apologize immediately!” the man in the Chinese attire snapped furiously.

“It’s alright, Xiaotian, let it go.

Don’t be so hard on Ah Li, I’m fine,” the woman said quickly as she walked over to him, trying to soothe the man’s anger.

“It doesn’t matter.

I’m leaving.

Don’t interfere with my life again,” Dong Li said, then turned around and left the villa.

The man in the Chinese attire furiously threw the baoding balls in his hand, fuming, “This damned brat, how can he be Dong Xiaotian’s son?

He’s driving me to my grave!”

“Come on, Xiaotian, don’t be angry, let’s have dinner,” the woman said gently, leaning against the man.

“Xiufang, you’re the only one who understands me,” the man exhaled, his eyes softening with affection as he gazed at the woman and embraced her tightly, while she looked down with a sly glint in her fox-like eyes.
