“That’s right, we agreed to your appointment as President Ye because we had the Chairman at the helm, and we didn’t have to worry, but now that the Chairman is gravely ill and can no longer handle the affairs of the corporation, we all feel that Ye Corporation needs someone who truly has the leadership ability to steadily drive the company forward to take on the role of Ye Corporation President.”

Nie Tianming, the fifth-largest shareholder of the Ye Corporation board, also said coldly.

At that moment, nearly a third of the people in the conference room showed support for the dismissal of Ye Yaxin as President, while the rest either remained silent or stood by Ye Yaxin, expressing their disagreement with the dismissal.

“Hmph, you people really are bastards.

Now that the Chairman is bedridden with serious illness, instead of trying to stabilize Ye Corporation, you are here conspiring to oust President Ye.

What are your intentions?”

The middle-aged man sitting to the left of Ye Yaxin stared angrily at Hu Mingrui and the others; he was Wu Ping, the fourth-largest shareholder of Ye and a loyal board member to Ye Yaxin.

“What we’re doing is precisely to stabilize the company better.

With the Chairman critically ill and Ye Corporation in turmoil, with its stock price continuously falling, we need someone truly wise and capable to take control of the company and lead Ye through this crisis.”

Jiang Cundong, the seventh-largest shareholder and director of Ye, couldn’t help but express his thoughts.

“I wonder who this wise and valiant leader you speak of could be?”

At this moment, the previously silent Ye Yaxin finally spoke up, her face ice-cold and her eyes emitting an intimidating chill, radiating a formidable aura all around her.

“We unanimously feel that Vice President Ye has the ability, and moreover, Vice President Ye is the Chairman’s son and the second-largest shareholder of Ye Corporation.

He has been learning company management by the Chairman’s side for over a decade, quite capable of leading our company out of this trough.”

Hu Mingrui said directly, his gaze shifting to the figure to the left of Ye Yaxin.

This figure was a middle-aged man with a square face wearing a suit, his appearance amiable; he was Ye Yaxin’s uncle, Vice President of Ye Corporation, Ye Songming.

Whoosh!

The entire conference room’s attention shifted to Ye Songming, and Ye Yaxin’s gaze similarly swept toward her uncle, as she said evenly, “Vice President Ye, do you also think I am not fit to lead Ye?”

Ye Songming gave an awkward smile, saying, “Ya Xin…”

“In the company, please call me President.” Ye Yaxin said firmly.

With a touch of embarrassment, Ye Songming uttered, “President, we don’t question your abilities, but as a few directors have said, with the Chairman critically ill and Ye Corporation unstable, you’re still young and your experience isn’t quite enough to fully take control of the company, which is detrimental to Ye.

Although I am very reluctant about today’s event, everyone is doing this for the good of Chu’s.”

“That’s right, we’re doing this for the good of Ye Corporation,” Nie Tianming said righteously.

“It seems that today, you are determined to force me out of my position as President of Ye Corporation,” Ye Yaxin stood up and said in a cool voice.

Bang!

“Who dares to bully my wife?”

Suddenly, the conference room door was kicked open, and an icy voice rang out as a young man with a green shoulder bag walked in, his eyes glinting coldly and sweeping over all those present, sending a shiver down their spines.

There was something terrifying about this guy’s gaze.

The man who arrogantly barged into the conference room was Xiao Yifeng.

“Who are you?

How dare you barge into Ye Corporation’s conference room?” Nie Tianming immediately stood up, slamming the table and pointing at Xiao Yifeng, enraged.

Xiao Yifeng’s lips curled into a smile as he slowly walked over, stopping in front of Nie Tianming and said softly, “So it was you who was bullying my wife just now?”

“You…

what nonsense are you talking about?”

Watching Xiao Yifeng stand before him, Nie Tianming felt an invisible aura oppressing him, igniting an inexplicable fear within him.

Slap!

A crisp slap suddenly rang out!

Xiao Yifeng swung his hand and delivered a slap to the face of the fifth largest shareholder of Ye Corporation, sending Nie Tianming’s glasses flying off his face, blinding him instantly and leaving a vividly clear slap mark on his cheek.

“You…” Nie Tianming’s fingers trembled as he pointed at Ye Luo.

Slap!

Another slap landed, and a slap mark appeared on the other side of Nie Tianming’s face, sending him tumbling to the ground.

“Can’t even speak properly, and you dare to bully my wife?

Thought I didn’t exist, huh?”

Xiao Yifeng curled his lips and hummed.

At this moment, everyone in the conference room was stunned by this sudden scene, unable to recover for a long while.

After ten or so seconds, as Nie Tianming let out a painful wail, everyone present instantly snapped back to reality, their looks filled with shock as they stared at Xiao Yifeng.

Jesus, where did this guy dressed like a beggar come from, to actually strike the fifth largest shareholder of their corporation?

It was insane, but even more insane events were still waiting for them.

“How bold, who is this man?

Not only did he barge into the Ye Corporation’s board meeting, but he also publicly assaulted a shareholder of Ye Corporation.

You really have some nerve.

Call the police immediately, this scoundrel must be severely punished.”

Hu Mingrui, who sat next to Nie Tianming, suddenly stood up, pointing at Xiao Yifeng with an uncontrollably angry face, looking extremely enraged.

Xiao Yifeng’s mouth curled into a wicked smile, and his deep and bright eyes swept towards Dong Mingrui.

“Just now, was it you shouting that my wife isn’t capable, suggesting her position as president should be revoked?”

“What?

This guy’s wife is President Ye?”

“You’ve got to be kidding me, is today the end of the world, has the world gone mad?”

“Could this guy have escaped from a mental institution?”

The people in the conference room, upon hearing Xiao Yifeng’s words, were once again shocked, all of them looking at Xiao Yifeng with eyes that couldn’t believe, as if looking at an idiot.

Ye Yaxin’s icy eyes shimmered with a strange light as she gazed at Xiao Yifeng, her beautiful eyes sparkling.

“Haha, it’s laughable.

Ye Yaxin, your wife?

Did a door squash your head?” Hu Mingrui sneered, his eyes filled with derision.

Slap!

The third crisp slap echoed in the conference room, and Hu Mingrui also received a slap from Xiao Yifeng, sending him stumbling backward with blood on the corner of his mouth, utterly dazed.

“It’s your head that’s been squashed by a door, daring to speak that way about me and to bully my wife, you deserve to be hit even more.”

Xiao Yifeng said, rolling up his sleeves, ready to give this guy a good thrashing and show him what he was made of.
