16: Chapter 16 Going to Work at Ye Family 16: Chapter 16 Going to Work at Ye Family “Good morning, Chairman, good morning, President!”

As Ye Tianxiong and his two companions approached the corporation’s main entrance, the two Ye’s Security Guards standing by the door straightened up and called out with respectful faces.

“Good morning to you too!”

At this moment, Xiao Yifeng’s indifferent voice sounded, causing the two guards who looked at Xiao Yifeng standing beside Ye Tianxiong to change their expressions, their pupils dilated, displaying utter shock on their faces.

These two security guards were precisely the ones who had barred Xiao Yifeng and mocked him the day before.

They hadn’t believed at all that Xiao Yifeng was their president’s fiancé, and had thought he was a lunatic.

They hadn’t expected the news to later spread that their president indeed had a fiancé and now, seeing Xiao Yifeng walking in such close quarters with their chairman and president, their eyes popped in disbelief.

Could it be that this guy really was their president’s fiancé?

Thinking this, their legs began to tremble a little.

“Will you still stop me today?” Xiao Yifeng asked with a hint of a playful smile, looking at the two security guards.

“No…

we wouldn’t dare!” The two security guards spoke with frightened faces, bowing their heads and with a trembling voice, while simultaneously cursing themselves for being so blind.

“In the future, you’d better keep your eyes open,” Xiao Yifeng said as he patted one of the security guards on the shoulder, his face the picture of instruction, his mood extremely buoyant.

As these three entered the corporation, the Ye Corporation employees they passed along the way greeted the chairman and president, their gazes mostly settling on Xiao Yifeng walking by their side, speculating about his identity.

Many guessed that Xiao Yifeng was their president’s fiancé.

In the Ye Corporation, the very meeting room from yesterday, all shareholders, directors, and heads of important departments within the Ye Corporation had gathered.

Soon, Ye Tianxiong, Ye Yaxin, and Xiao Yifeng entered.

The people present looked at Ye Tianxiong’s healthy face with shock in their eyes.

They all knew that the chairman was seriously ill and bedridden.

Now, to see him suddenly appear full of life, naturally filled them with amazement.

But soon, their attention shifted to Xiao Yifeng, speculating in their minds.

They had heard this guy say he could cure the chairman the day before, and now the chairman was standing before them like a healthy person.

Could it really be that this guy had cured him?

Among them, Hu Mingrui, Nie Tianming, and Jiang Cundong, three shareholders, were the most astounded.

Seeing Ye Tianxiong appear, their expressions changed repeatedly, looking somewhat ugly and uneasy.

“Chairman!”

As Ye Tianxiong walked to the front of the conference table, everyone began to greet him.

“Hello everyone, it seems that Ye Corporation has been managed quite well in my absence due to illness,” Ye Tianxiong said with a smile.

“I didn’t expect the chairman’s illness to recover so quickly, it’s really a cause for celebration!” Hu Mingrui said immediately with a smiling face.

“It seems you weren’t hoping for the chairman to recover so quickly,” Xiao Yifeng said, curling his lip and snorting.

“What nonsense are you talking about?” Hu Mingrui’s face darkened, his eyes angrily staring at Xiao Yifeng.

Ye Yaxin’s eyes narrowed as she looked at Xiao Yifeng, “Don’t talk nonsense.”

“Heh, no worries,” Ye Tianxiong waved his hand and said, looking at the people in the room.

“I’ve heard that someone tried to force Ya Xin to relinquish the CEO position yesterday.

Does anyone know what that’s about?”

Upon hearing Ye Tianxiong’s words, Hu Mingrui, the three others, and the seated Ye Songming all changed their expressions and their gazes flickered.

“Chairman, this matter…” Hu Mingrui hastily started to speak, only to be interrupted by Ye Tianxiong.

“Everyone, the position of CEO for Ya Xin was personally appointed by me, and I have great trust in her abilities.

I’m sure you are all aware of how the Ye Corporation has grown several times under Ya Xin’s leadership over these past few years, becoming one of the best among the many groups in Tianhai City.

I hope everyone will wholeheartedly support Ya Xin’s work in the future,” said Ye Tianxiong.

As Ye Tianxiong spoke, he swept his gaze over everyone present, “I do not want yesterday’s incident to happen again.

At the same time, I announce that I will transfer all of my thirty percent shares of the Ye Corporation to Ya Xin, officially putting the entirety of the Ye Corporation under her full responsibility.”

Swish!

The room was taken aback by Ye Tianxiong’s words.

Dong Mingrui and the others’ faces darkened, and Ye Songming’s expression also changed dramatically, prompting him to speak, “Dad, what is this?”

“Grandpa, we should discuss this matter more thoroughly,” said Ye Yaxin, her face also showing a hint of surprise, clearly not knowing about Ye Tianxiong’s plan.

“Enough, there’s no need for further discussion.

This is my decision and it will not change,” Ye Tianxiong said with a grave expression.

“From today onwards, Ya Xin will be the largest shareholder of the Ye Corporation and the highest decision-maker,” Ye Tianxiong declared resolutely, then glanced at the young man beside him, “There is also another matter I would like to announce.

This young man standing by my side is called Xiao Yifeng.

He is my granddaughter Ya Xin’s fiancé, and he will also be part of the Ye Corporation in the future.”

Following the fall of Ye Tianxiong’s voice, everyone’s gaze once again settled on Xiao Yifeng, filled with astonishment.

This guy was indeed their president’s fiancé.

Sitting in the adjacent seat, Qiu Yuying wore a professional outfit, her eyes sparkling with surprise as she watched Xiao Yifeng, who was smiling back at her.

Qiu Yuying’s face changed slightly, and she quickly looked away.

“Yifeng, is there a particular position you would like me to arrange for you?” Ye Tianxiong’s gaze turned towards Xiao Yifeng.

Xiao Yifeng said with an indifferent tone, “I really can’t do anything, just find me a small position to fill for now, oh and by the way, which department is that beauty from?”

While Xiao Yifeng spoke, his eyes drifted toward Qiu Yuying.

Ye Yaxin said sternly, “She is the Sales Department Manager, Qiu Yuying.

Do you want to go to the Sales Department?”

“Exactly, I will work in the Sales Department,” Xiao Yifeng stated directly.

“Very well then.

Manager Qiu, you will be responsible for arranging Yifeng’s work,” Ye Tianxiong instructed as he looked towards Qiu Yuying.

“Yes, Chairman.” Qiu Yuying quickly stood up and nodded.

After the meeting ended, Xiao Yifeng was called to Ye Yaxin’s office.

“You want to go to the Sales Department.

Do you have some ulterior motive about Yuying?” Ye Yaxin scrutinized Xiao Yifeng with a penetrating gaze.

“How could that be?

You are my fiancée, how would I dare to harbor any ulterior motives against your subordinate right in front of you,” Xiao Yifeng said with a chuckle.

Ye Yaxin looked intensely at Xiao Yifeng, “It better be as you say, because even if grandpa gave you a position in the company, I would still kick you out if necessary.

Moreover, within the company, you are just an ordinary employee, not my fiancé.

Here you can only call me President.”
