The other person had a robust body, wearing a black tank top, with bulging muscles giving off a strong vibe and a somber face, rarely smiling or speaking.

“Young Master, according to what you said, that Xiao Yifeng must not be an ordinary person,” said the man with the sinister face and the black robe in a somewhat hoarse voice.

“Brother Gui, have you figured out everything about this kid?

Where did he suddenly come from?” Yang Hao finished off the red wine in his glass with one gulp, his expression grim.

“It’s been checked, but there’s no information at all.

He arrived in Tianhai just a few days ago, and all his information before that is blank, completely untraceable, not even in the police station’s system,” Brother Gui said in his raspy voice.

“Completely blank?

How is that possible?” Yang Hao frowned.

Brother Gui, with a ghostly light flickering in his eyes, said, “Young Master, I also found another piece of information.

Last night, this guy got taken to the police station because he put a group of people in the hospital with serious injuries, and all those people are from the Dragon Tiger Corporation, under Director Peng Hu, including Peng Hu’s expert, Daozi, who were all beaten seriously by him.”

Yang Hao’s gaze sharpened, “To offend Peng Hu and put them all into the hospital with serious injuries, this kid indeed seems quite arrogant.”

“Young Master, in fact, we can do nothing for now.

Peng Hu wants to deal with this guy, which means there must be some kind of grudge between them.

Judging by Peng Hu’s character, he certainly won’t let this go.

We can just sit back and watch the fight unfold.”

The man in the black robe with eyes gleaming with a ghostly light spoke with a sinister feeling to his face.

“You’re right, let them fight slowly, but you must keep me informed about everything concerning this kid.

I want to be updated about his situation at all times,” Yang Hao said, and then downed another glass.

“Go find me some girls.

I need to blow off some steam,” Yang Hao commanded with a cold glint in his eyes.

The morning passed by as Xiao Yifeng was bored, playing Fight the Landlord, and by noon, he accompanied Fang Siqi to meet that lecherous and troublesome client.

Taking a taxi, they arrived at a high-end luxurious clubhouse named Mo’s Club.

“Discussing a partnership and he chose this place, it looks like this client really isn’t harboring any good intentions,” Xiao Yifeng commented with a curl of his lip.

“Brother Xiao, I’m a bit nervous,” said Fang Siqi, her expression slightly anxious as she looked at Xiao Yifeng.

“No need to be nervous, I’m here with you.

Nothing will happen,” Xiao Yifeng reassured with a smile, patting Fang Siqi’s shoulder before the two of them walked inside.

Upon entering the club, Xiao Yifeng noticed that the entire place was decorated in an elegant and noble style.

“Sir, Miss, may I ask what services you require?” a receptionist in a cheongsam greeted them with a smile.

“We have an appointment with Manager Fu of Fu’s Group,” Fang Siqi replied.

“Oh, the guests of Manager Fu, please follow me.”

The receptionist led the two towards the third floor of the clubhouse, to the outside of a private room, where two men stood in black suits and sunglasses.

“These are the guests for Manager Fu,” the receptionist told them.

The men examined Xiao Yifeng and Fang Siqi, then one opened the door and went inside.

“Boss, the guests are here.”

“Come in,” came a voice from inside.

“Please?” the man said, stepping outside to address both of them.

Stepping into the private room of the club, one would be surrounded by opulent decorations: crystal chandeliers, wool carpets, European paintings, and antique vases all showcased an atmosphere of luxurious splendor.

In the center of this room, there was a pear wood dining table where a slightly overweight man with an air of affluence was sitting.

His hair was so sparse that one could hardly see a few strands, his face beamed with a smile, and he was dressed in designer brands from head to toe, adorned with gold watches and necklaces.

From the moment Fang Siqi entered, the man’s eyes fixed on her, scanning her from head to toe, then his gaze started shimmering with ill intent.

This man was Fu Dahai, the person Fang Siqi had come to discuss a business cooperation with.

Watching this guy, Xiao Yifeng knew that he was up to no good, absolutely harboring ill intentions.

“Mr.

Fu, good day, I’m Fang Siqi from Ye Corporation’s sales department.

I called you earlier to discuss possible cooperation,” Fang Siqi said as she looked at Fu Dahai.

“No rush, no rush.

It’s almost time to eat; let’s sit down and have a good meal first,” Fu Dahai said with a smile, his eyes briefly scanning Xiao Yifeng before frowning slightly and asking, “And who might this be?”

“Oh, Mr.

Fu, this is my colleague, Xiao Yifeng,” Fang Siqi introduced.

“Colleague, eh?

Well, sit wherever you like,” said Fu Dahai casually without giving Xiao Yifeng a second glance.

“Miss Fang, what would you like to eat?

Mo’s Club here is the most upscale club in Tianhai City.

They have every cuisine you can think of,” Fu Dahai said.

“You’re too kind, Mr.

Fu.

Why don’t you decide?” Fang Siqi said, her expression a bit tense.

“Alright then, let’s get one of each specialty dish here, and bring a bottle of ’82 Lafite,” Fu Dahai directed the club’s server.

“Miss Fang, you may not know, but the red wine at Mo’s Club is quite famous.

A bottle of ’82 Lafite is worth tens of thousands; most people never get the chance to try it.

Today, have a taste—drinking red wine is quite good for the skin,” Fu Dahai said with a smile, his words fully displaying his lavishness.

Soon, plate after plate of delicious dishes were served, and at that point, Xiao Yifeng, who had been quiet until then, finally spoke up, “Finally, the food’s here.

I’m starving.”

With that, Xiao Yifeng picked up his chopsticks and began to eat ravenously, meanwhile saying to Fu Dahai, “Mr.

Fu, let me pour you some wine.”

Xiao Yifeng poured Fu Dahai a glass of the expensive ’82 Lafite, filled his own glass to the brim, and then drank it all in one gulp.

“Mm, tastes good,” Xiao Yifeng nodded.

Watching Xiao Yifeng’s behavior, Fu Dahai’s eyes flashed with disdain, but he soon turned back to Fang Siqi with a smile and said, “Miss Fang, I hear you’re just an intern at Ye Corporation, isn’t that right?”

“Yes, Mr.

Fu,” Fang Siqi said cautiously.

“Miss Fang, why don’t you come work for my company?

How about I give you thirty thousand a month to be my secretary?

And I’ll throw in a villa too, how about it?”

Fang Siqi quickly responded, “There’s no need, Mr.

Fu.

I’m quite happy working at Chu’s.”

“Miss Fang, this is a rare opportunity.

Plus, someone as young and beautiful as you being just an ordinary employee is a waste of talent.

Come to my company, and I’ll make sure to take good care of you,” Fu Dahai said as he reached out towards Fang Siqi’s hand.

Fang Siqi’s face changed immediately, and she quickly withdrew her hand, looking somewhat nervous.

“Mr.

Fu, are you trying to impose a ‘casting couch’ condition?” Xiao Yifeng said while continuing to eat, looking over at Fu Dahai.
