37: Chapter 37: Exciting Car Racing 37: Chapter 37: Exciting Car Racing Soon, the crowd at the base of Yufeng Mountain was eagerly anticipating the race.

Of course, what they were most looking forward to seeing was the perfect driving skills of the Car King Li Tianzhe, and the final victory was never in doubt.

“Since you’ve all agreed on the terms, let me introduce the final rules.

You will start here and follow the winding track up Yufeng Mountain to the summit, and then return.

Whoever gets back here first will be declared the winner,” Xu Ming said directly, and then Li Tianzhe in his Aston Martin, Xiao Yifeng in his Ferrari, and Xu Yuan in his modified Lamborghini, all three sports cars, lined up on the same starting line.

Shortly after, two sexy women stood between the three cars, each holding a starting flag.

Three!

Two!

One!

In an instant, the two bikini-clad women swung their flags down sharply, and a series of deafening roars from the cars erupted.

The Aston Martin and the Lamborghini shot out like arrows, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

Only, the Ferrari did not move at all, causing a wave of confusion among the crowd – what was going on?

Long Qianqian quickly ran to the front of the car and asked Xiao Yifeng, “Uncle, what are you doing?

Why aren’t you moving?”

“What’s the rush?

Let’s enjoy the view of the beauties first,” Xiao Yifeng said with a lecherous smile, his gaze fixed on the two women.

Only after they had left did Xiao Yifeng leisurely start the car and drive off.

“Huh?

This uncle is hopeless!”

Long Qianqian slapped her forehead, giving up all hope for Xiao Yifeng.

Not only was his driving and car outmatched, but he also started more than ten seconds behind, leaving absolutely no chance of winning.

“Young Master Yang, what’s the deal with this Xiao Yifeng?”

Xu Ming squinted and asked Yang Hao.

“Don’t know.

His information is untraceable, but he’s definitely not just anyone,” Yang Hao said, his eyes moving as the two then turned their attention to the large screen.

At this moment, the eyes of everyone at the base of Yufeng Mountain were all watching that big screen.

The screen displayed the situation on the winding race track, where hundreds of cameras were installed to transmit the entire picture onto this screen.

Through the screen, the audience could see that Li Tianzhe’s Aston Martin was far ahead, with Xu Yuan’s Lamborghini behind him.

As for the Ferrari, it was nowhere to be seen.

The crowd began to sneer, mocking the level of driving that dared to challenge the Car King – it was simply a masochistic act.

Inside the Aston Martin, Li Tianzhe shook his head with a cold sneer when he saw that not even the shadow of the Ferrari could be seen behind him.

Meanwhile, on another mountain peak opposite Yufeng Mountain, a dark figure crouched next to a large tree, scanning Yufeng Mountain with a pair of night vision goggles.

Afterward, the man put down his night vision goggles, revealing a sinister face with one eye closed, obviously blind, and the other eye shone with an eagle-like sharpness.

He also carried a long case on his back.

Opening the long case, filled with various parts, the man assembled a new type of crossbow within minutes.

This crossbow was fitted with a bolt that had a barbed head, specially modified to inflict maximum damage once it penetrates a body.

And under the illumination of the moonlight, the arrowhead gleamed with an azure glow, smeared with deadly poison.

This double threat was enough to prove that once the arrow struck its target, death was certain.

Attached to the crossbow was a sniper scope, an absolute rival to sniper rifles.

However, in China, the existence of sniper rifles is strictly prohibited, which is why this specially modified crossbow emerged.

One-Eye peered through the scope with his sole eye, the arrow’s direction constantly shifting, his target being Xiao Yifeng inside the Ferrari.

At that moment, Xiao Yifeng, naturally unaware of the danger approaching, kept flooring the accelerator.

The Ferrari’s powerful performance came into play as its speed kept climbing, the needle on the indicator surging past the numbers, pointing directly to two hundred.

Xiao Yifeng pushed the car to two hundred, the Ferrari shooting forward like an arrow, the ultra-fast speed giving him an unusual sensation as his blood gradually began to boil.

A familiar sense of extreme excitement grew at the bottom of Xiao Yifeng’s heart, his expression turning somewhat exhilarated.

Under Xiao Yifeng’s lightning-fast speed, the Ferrari, which started ten seconds behind, finally caught up with Xu Yuan’s Lamborghini and was about to overtake him.

Xu Yuan, in the Lamborghini, saw the Ferrari about to pass him and his expression changed.

He cursed under his breath and likewise floored the accelerator, starting to pick up speed.

In this way, the Lamborghini and the Ferrari began an unending chase on the mountain race track, now shrouded in darkness.

The only lights on the mountainous track were rows of dim bulbs, everything becoming treacherous and thrilling.

One side of the track was lined with mountain walls, and the other side was a cliff, where any mishap would lead to a fatal car wreck.

At the base of Yufeng Mountain, everyone’s eyes were glued to the big screen.

“This guy does have some skills,” Long Qianqian remarked as she watched the Ferrari catch up with the Lamborghini on the screen, a bitter smile then appearing on her face:

“But it’s useless like this.

Li Tianzhe in the Aston Martin is already two bends ahead of them, and he hasn’t even fully shown his strength yet.

Catching up now seems unlikely.”

On the mountainous track, the Lamborghini and the Ferrari engaged in a fierce pursuit, but the Ferrari stuck closely to the back of the Lamborghini, with Xu Yuan unable to shake off the Ferrari no matter how he accelerated.

“Damn you, even if I can’t shake you off, I won’t let you pass.

Just wait to concede defeat.”

Xu Yuan growled menacingly, then continuously maneuvered the steering wheel, causing the Lamborghini to sway and not give Xiao Yifeng any chance to overtake.

The width of the mountain track was less than four meters, extremely narrow.

With Xu Yuan’s blocking, overtaking indeed became very difficult.

However, a cold smirk played on the lips of Xiao Yifeng in the Ferrari: “You think you can stop me?”

Xiao Yifeng’s eyes were filled with disdain, and his expression became solemn and frenzied.

He floored the gas pedal, instantly accelerating once again.

Bang!

The Lamborghini and the Ferrari were very close.

With Xiao Yifeng’s sudden acceleration, the Ferrari crashed right into the rear of the Lamborghini, creating a loud bang.

The Lamborghini instantly swerved, veering to one side.

Xu Yuan, white-faced from fright, quickly regained control of the steering wheel, steadying himself, or it could have been the end.
