Delta is Coming, Big Red Has Special Effects

40: EscortSeeing that Liu Yan was quite honest, Big Beard nodded in satisfaction.

”Kid, you stand guard here, I’ll go get the small safe.”

With that, Big Beard turned around and walked towards the small safe behind the landing point.

”We just wasted some time. If there are people from Blue Melody Mountain City, you might die trying to get this small safe.”

Although Liu Yan was speaking to Big Beard, he was facing the military drone in the empty space.

”Bullshit, I’ve been into Bakshi ten times, how come I’ve never heard of that?”

The Bald Man next to him was very disdainful, spat heavily, and then walked straight to the medical supply pile.

Liu Yan shrugged indifferently.

But while the Bald Man was searching the medical supply box, Liu Yan’s gaze never left him.

If the other party found a resuscitation ventilator, Liu Yan would kill both of them immediately.

”Hey, lucky me, there’s actually a medal in the small safe.”

Big Beard carefully put away the Merit Medal as if it were a treasure.

In the game, medals are slightly more expensive than most single-slot small gold items, and it’s the same in the Third District.

”Hehe, fifty thousand in hand, a filter cartridge.”

The Bald Man proudly held the filter cartridge, shook it at Liu Yan, then asked disdainfully:

”He got the small safe, I got the medical supply pile, are we dead? Huh?”

”Little brat, you’ve watched too many TV shows. Just listen to us, and if we’re in a good mood, we might even give you some scraps.”

Big Beard also spoke at this moment:

”Alright, kid, stop standing around stupid. Let’s clean out Asala Camp together.”

With that, Big Beard and the Bald Man went to the container area together.

Bang bang bang — — — !!!

Big Beard and the Bald Man worked together to kill all the Soldiers in Asala Camp.

Seeing this, Liu Yan nodded in praise.

From the previous clearing of the bots, it could be seen that the two had a decent understanding.

Without communication, the gun lines of the two did not lock onto the same bot.

Liu Yan followed behind the two, and the three of them together thoroughly searched Asala Camp.

”Damn it, two treasures at the beginning, but then it’s all trash? I thought this round would be rich!”

Bang bang bang bang bang — — — — !!!

Just then, intense gunfire erupted from the direction of the Royal Museum.

”Wait! Kid, what are you doing?”

The Bald Man called out to Liu Yan, who was about to leave.

”There’s a fight over there, I’m going to check it out,” Liu Yan answered truthfully.

The Bald Man narrowed his eyes, his gaze full of suspicion as he looked at Liu Yan.

”You didn’t happen to find something good, did you?”

”We kindly brought you along, if you found a treasure, you can’t keep it all to yourself!”

”I just took a Soldier’s gun.”

Liu Yan turned around speechlessly and pointed to his back.

He didn’t have the habit of carrying a backpack when entering, and at this moment, he only had an UZI submachine gun hanging on his back.

”I don’t believe it, let me see if you’re hiding anything in your chest rig and pockets,” the Bald Man continued to be relentless.

”Alright, if he wants to go die, let him go,” Big Beard pulled the Bald Man.

”You actually believe him? These students all wet their pants as soon as they hear gunshots, he must have found a treasure!”

Seeing the Bald Man getting more and more agitated, Big Beard quickly gave him a few glances.

”I must check...” The words on the Bald Man’s lips were swallowed back.

Their long-standing tacit understanding made him immediately understand the other’s gaze.

”Alright, kid, if you want to go die, then go.”

Big Beard waved his hand, signaling Liu Yan to get lost.

Liu Yan turned and ran towards the museum.

On the way, Liu Yan put on his power propulsion device while not forgetting to interact with the ”audience”:

”Students, when teaming up with strangers, you must observe their every move, such as the glances they just exchanged.”

”They want to use me as bait. If you encounter this kind of team bullying, retreat if you can.”

As he spoke, Liu Yan had already reached the ladder at the back door of the museum, and with agile movements, he climbed onto the second-floor platform of the museum’s back door.

At this moment, two faint footsteps from a distance entered Liu Yan’s ears.

The source of the footsteps was the direction from which Liu Yan had come.

After hearing the footsteps, Liu Yan shook his head, feeling quite helpless.

Since first arriving in this world, Liu Yan had considered that such a situation would occur.

After all, in the game, some people are still unscrupulous for virtual currency, let alone when it comes to real money.

Thinking of this, a person came to Liu Yan’s mind.

That was Fuji.

They had only met once, yet Fuji was able to trust him and equip him.

This situation might not be uncommon in the game.

But here, those who could do this were few and far between.

Beep beep — — — beep beep — — —

A faint rescue sound from inside the museum interrupted Liu Yan.

Liu Yan poked his head out of the second-floor window, carefully discerning the source of the sound.

Someone was healing in the second-floor safe room.

On the first floor, next to the staircase leading to the basement, behind a screen, someone was performing a rescue.

At the same time, Liu Yan also saw three Pseudo-human corpses lying in the first-floor hall.

The enemies in the safe room and behind the screen on the first floor were most likely a team.

”This positioning is a bit tricky,” Liu Yan frowned slightly.

If Liu Yan chose to kill the enemy in the second-floor safe room later.

Then the enemy downstairs would likely complete the rescue.

Even if the rescued person’s combat ability wasn’t strong after being revived, he could still shoot at him, and the other person’s status was unknown.

If he went to kill the rescuing enemy first, then the person in the safe room would rush out upon hearing the noise, and he would face the disadvantage of fighting from a low position against a high position.

This was Confidential Baku Shi, not Confidential Longbow Stream Valley.

Even for a student like him to enter, mandatory teaming was required.

Under such conditions, the equipment of the others would certainly not be too bad.

Ultimately, Liu Yan chose to temporarily hold his ground. This window position allowed him to perfectly cover the person coming out of the safe room.

In the game, Liu Yan would definitely rush in; even if he failed, he could just try again.

Even now, Liu Yan wouldn’t care too much about losing equipment upon death.

However, the randomly appearing after-effects depending on the body part forced Liu Yan to seek victory cautiously.

At this moment, the sound of the rescue abruptly stopped, and another sound followed:

”Ugh ah — — it hurts so much!”

The rescued man clutched his chest, unable to help but wail.

A sharp-eyed middle-aged man, after rescuing him, did not rush to loot but instead began repairing his armor nearby.

”Sorry, boss, I accidentally let you die just now,” the sharp-eyed man said in a deep voice.

The man referred to as the boss put a painkiller in his mouth, then waved his hand:

”It’s alright, it’s alright. Good thing I was rescued, otherwise, there would have been after-effects.”

”Boss, you treat yourself first, I’ll go organize the loot.”

Liu Yan, at the second-floor window, raised an eyebrow.

Boss?

It was actually an escort team!

Fortunately, he hadn’t acted rashly just now. In the Third District, those who could work as escorts.

Whether it was their strength or equipment, they would certainly not be much worse than in the game.

Squeak — — —

Just then, the double doors of the safe room next to them were opened.

Liu Yan lowered his body to prevent the other party’s peripheral vision from catching a glimpse of him.

”Chen Yu, how’s the boss?” A clear female voice came from the doorway.

”The boss is fine now, clear out the rat in the window to your right.”
