Delta is Coming, Big Red Has Special Effects

34: The outcome is decidedIn the screen, Liu Yan had already run up the slope.

“It seems I’ll have to find more syringes later,” Liu Yan sighed.

Under the boost provided by the physical strength enhancer, he had run quickly the entire way without even a flush on his face or a rapid heartbeat.

After climbing the slope, Liu Yan was not in a hurry to enter the main power substation.

Even without enemies, Asala Guard Soldiers would patrol slowly.

Because he was wearing a Level 5 hearing helmet, at this position, if there were footsteps in the substation, Liu Yan would definitely hear them.

In the current situation, it was clear that Lin Han and the others had already entered the main power substation and set up an ambush.

At the same time, Lin Han’s voice came through Guo Li and Hama’s headphones.

“Liu Yan is at the door.

Once he enters the substation, Hama will shoot first, and then Guo Li will quickly go to the terrace to follow up with shots.”

It must be said that compared to the enemies Liu Yan had encountered before, Lin Han was indeed much more outstanding.

Whether it was the planning of positions or the tactical arrangements, they were incomparable to those previous enemies.

The students sitting in the conference hall watching couldn’t help but hold their breath for Liu Yan.

But at this moment, Liu Yan suddenly turned his head and made a move that neither Lin Han nor all the teachers and students had anticipated.

“From the lack of soldier footsteps, I can tell that they are already ambushed inside.”

“In this situation, if I rush in through the front door, I might face three completely different firing lines.”

With that, Liu Yan directly changed direction and walked towards the small power substation.

“He... who is he talking to?” Lin Han’s eyebrows furrowed tightly.

The moment he made eye contact with Liu Yan through the screen just now, he had a feeling of being caught peeping.

“Could it be that he saw the military drone with just his naked eye? How is that possible?”

Thinking of this, a cold sweat broke out on Lin Han’s forehead.

Liu Yan stopped at the truck connection point between the main power substation and the small power substation.

If it were in a game, he would need to go around through the inside of the small power substation here.

However, such an obstacle was like flat ground for Liu Yan.

Bang—!

Bang—!

With a second successful Climbing over the top ( Climbing over the top - a specific parkour move, literally ’pedal car over top’), Liu Yan successfully arrived at the back door opening of the main power substation.

It was at this moment that Liu Yan heard a subtle movement in his ear, roughly in front of the iron cabinet on the second floor.

“Footsteps on the second floor of the substation.”

After speaking, Liu Yan easily climbed onto the half-destroyed wall.

“Guo Li! Be careful! He’s on the wall behind you right now!”

Lin Han’s urgent voice came through Guo Li’s headphones.

However, by the time Guo Li reacted, it was already too late.

Bang—!

The tiger squat cannon shell shattered the glass in front of Guo Li and landed on the stairs.

Whoosh—!

Immediately after, a figure flew in through the window!

Dududu—!

The unique, rapid gunfire of the giant wave rang out!

Thanks to Lin Han’s earlier warning, Guo Li reacted when he saw Liu Yan breaking through the window.

Knowing that he alone was no match for Liu Yan, Guo Li quickly rolled down the stairs.

Bang—!

As Guo Li landed, the tiger squat cannon that had fallen on the stairs instantly exploded!

The violent shock caused Guo Li to fall backward onto the ground!

At the same time, the sound of a rocket launch was heard in the distance.

“This is... a loitering munition?”

After a brief moment of stunned ( stunned - daze), Liu Yan quickly rushed towards the stairwell, preparing to kill Guo Li.

Upon reaching the stairwell, Guo Li downstairs had not yet fully recovered from the shock of the tiger squat cannon.

The sound of the loitering munition was getting closer.

Just as Liu Yan raised his gun, his peripheral vision caught the loitering munition, which was only 5 meters away from him.

Liu Yan quickly lay down, simultaneously raising his gun and shooting downstairs.

However, in that brief gap, Guo Li had successfully gotten up and ran towards the corner, disappearing from Liu Yan’s sight.

And the loitering munition that Liu Yan had dodged instantly descended at this moment, changing direction!

Boom—!

The loitering munition hit the second-floor ground of the substation, exploding directly not far from Liu Yan.

The shrapnel from the explosion almost completely shredded the right half of Liu Yan’s armor.

Liu Yan’s right arm and right leg were also bloody and mangled.

Fortunately, it wasn’t a direct hit, otherwise Liu Yan might have died on the spot.

“Tsk,” Liu Yan frowned.

He had originally intended to kill Guo Li before the loitering munition arrived.

But he didn’t expect the loitering munition to be in his face in less than two seconds.

Had it anticipated that he would enter through the back window?

The first moment he saw the loitering munition, Liu Yan had intended to shoot it down directly, like in a game.

But if he did that, Guo Li, who was climbing the stairs, could take the opportunity to shoot.

Left with no choice, Liu Yan could only shoot to suppress Guo Li.

On the roof outside the substation.

Lin Han clearly saw Liu Yan’s current state through the images transmitted by the military terminal, and quickly shouted into his headset:

“Critically injured! Guo Li, turn back and counter-attack quickly!”

“Hama, get in there and support!”

After speaking, Lin Han took the M700 sniper rifle from his back and aimed at the second floor of the substation.

At this moment, if Liu Yan stood up, he would be shot dead by a single bullet.

Liu Yan, lying on the ground, did not use a first aid kit.

Instead, he moved his gun to his left hand and aimed at the stairwell.

During the brief moment of aiming, Liu Yan carefully recalled the direction from which the loitering munition had come.

“The rooftop?”

At this moment, two sets of footsteps sounded simultaneously, one near and one far.

“As expected, someone was hiding in the guard booth, thankfully I didn’t take the front door,” Liu Yan said thankfully.

Guo Li had returned to the stairwell corner.

As long as he peeked out, he could see Liu Yan.

But even though Liu Yan was critically injured, Guo Li dared not face him alone rashly.

He was waiting, waiting for Hama to arrive, and then the two of them would rush up together.

Beep—!

Beep—!

Liu Yan held the giant wave, firing single shots towards the stairwell corner.

The purpose of doing this was to suppress Guo Li, preventing him from rushing up now.

Liu Yan was also waiting; he was waiting for the cooldown of his power propulsion device.

Seeing that Guo Li made no move for a long time, Liu Yan understood the opponent’s intention and couldn’t help but show a slight smile.

I’m waiting for cooldown, what are you waiting for? To die?

Recalling the opponent’s previous cowardly actions, Liu Yan made a bold decision.

Even with the opponent able to peek and shoot at any moment, Liu Yan chose to take painkillers.

In most game situations, it often comes down to who is better at seizing opportunities.

And opportunities often only last for a fleeting moment.

Unfortunately, when Guo Li downstairs heard the sound of pills clinking, he mistakenly thought Liu Yan was trying to trick him into rushing out, thus missing a golden opportunity.

As Hama got closer, his hurried footsteps clearly entered Liu Yan’s ears.

The painkiller successfully entered his system at this moment, and Liu Yan’s right arm and right leg instantly regained their mobility.

Liu Yan quickly rolled twice towards the inner side of the substation.

This way, Guo Li and the other person wouldn’t be able to hit him from the corner later; they would have to run upstairs!

“He’s on the left side of the stairs! After going upstairs, shoot pre-emptively directly to the left!”

Lin Han’s voice came through the tactical headset into Guo Li’s and the other person’s ears.

At the same time, another subtle sound rang out above their heads.

“Sorry, the outcome is decided.”
