Delta is Coming, Big Red Has Special Effects

22: No need to learn if you don’t play professionallyTo reach the Galbi Ruins from their current location, the trio needed to cross a stone bridge.

In the game, this stretch was short and relatively easy, but now, a distance of nearly 300 meters was not so simple.

The three were currently using houses for cover, and Liu Yan pointed across the bridge, saying, ”Fuji, you run to the other side first. Don’t run too fast.”

Fuji nodded woodenly, clearly still regretting the mandel brick incident.

The reason Liu Yan made Fuji go first was entirely due to his poor psychological resilience!

If it were Liu Yan or Zhao Chuang in front, should anything unexpected happen, the timid Fuji would be no different from being AFK.

After Fuji set off, Liu Yan, holding his sniper rifle, leaned his head out from cover and squinted his eyes.

Liu Yan did not choose to use the scope on his gun to search for enemies.

They were outdoors now, and a scope without a sunshade, once taken out, would undoubtedly be a living target due to the sunlight’s refraction.

Seeing Fuji run a third of the way, Liu Yan said without looking back, ”Zhao Chuang, wait until he’s halfway. If he’s not dead, then you go, but remember not to be too fast. If he dies, don’t move.”

Liu Yan tried his best to make the plan rigorous, to prevent Zhao Chuang from freezing up.

However, he still overestimated Zhao Chuang.

”I didn’t remember,” Zhao Chuang said in a deep voice.

Liu Yan turned his head, looking at the other’s simple gaze, and a look of surprise and confusion appeared on Liu Yan’s face.

He thought to himself, *Are you even human?*

”Forget it, just listen to my command,” Liu Yan finally conceded.

When Fuji reached halfway, he was still safe and sound.

At the same time, Liu Yan issued an order:

”Zhao Chuang, go! Catch up to Brother Ji.”

”Okay, Brother Yan!” Zhao Chuang responded, then took off running towards Fuji.

Soon, Zhao Chuang also approached Fuji safely.

The two had already covered 70% of the distance.

”It seems they’re planning to go for the tail?”

Liu Yan didn’t believe that the previous gunshot hadn’t attracted enemies.

Two live targets, and the opponent still hadn’t fired, clearly meaning there was only one person, or only one sniper rifle.

If Liu Yan were to cross carelessly now, he would surely be shot dead.

At that point, Fuji and Zhao Chuang would face the classic tactic of ’corpse camping and baiting reinforcements’!

As the two were about to fully enter the next cover, Liu Yan prepared to sprint.

Sure enough, just as the two were about to cross the point, the distant enemy finally couldn’t hold back and pulled the trigger!

Pew—!

A faint, suppressed gunshot reached Liu Yan’s ears.

Liu Yan instantly burst out!

”1...”

Clang—!

”2.”

A sniper bullet hit the container, making a metallic sound.

”About 1.7 seconds.”

The time from the gunshot to the bullet hitting the container was roughly estimated by Liu Yan.

The opponent’s position was very likely the top of the crashed plane!

And in the opponent’s scope, Liu Yan’s figure also appeared.

”Damn it, there are three of them!”

After cursing, the man immediately aimed his crosshairs in front of Liu Yan.

Pew—!

The moment the shot rang out, Liu Yan suddenly stood still.

Whoosh—

A bullet grazed past not far in front of Liu Yan.

Under the shocked gaze of Fuji and Zhao Chuang, after dodging the shot, Liu Yan quickly spoke to the military drone in the air:

”Students in the livestream! He’s currently racking the bolt. This technique isn’t necessary to learn unless you’re a pro player!”

After speaking, Liu Yan then started running forward.

Whoosh—

A bullet passed through the spot where Liu Yan had just been standing.

At the same time, Liu Yan began to mentally calculate the time.

And this time, Liu Yan could no longer precisely predict where the opponent’s next bullet would land.

Whether he stood still or suddenly ran backward, the opponent could potentially counter-predict him.

Pew—!

The gunshot rang out once more.

And this time, another sound accompanied the gunshot.

Whoosh—!

Compressed gas instantly sprayed backward from Liu Yan’s waist!

With a powerful thrust, Liu Yan instantly moved forward 10 meters!

And the short burst of continuous acceleration provided by the power propulsion device turned Liu Yan into Usain Bolt!

With this speed boost, the man gave up on continuing to shoot.

Liu Yan successfully crossed the point.

”Damn it, I’ve been holding this position for nothing!”

The man cursed under his breath, then began to retract the bipod from his sniper rifle, preparing to leave the area.

However, such a naive thought caused his sniper rifle to be permanently left behind in Longbow Stream Valley.

If Liu Yan still couldn’t determine his position after the previous four shots, then he shouldn’t be a streamer.

Behind cover, the dark gun barrel was still pointed in the direction of the man.

Under the refraction of sunlight, the light reflected by the scope caught the man’s attention.

”That is... not good!”

Bang—!

”Remember, if you can’t successfully hold a position to cross, always hold a position behind cover for a while to prevent the opponent from immediately peeking out and counter-attacking after entering cover.”

After taking care of the opponent, Liu Yan, holding his sniper rifle, waved in the direction of the military drone in the air.

After showing off, Liu Yan instructed Fuji and Zhao Chuang:

”Alright, from his position, he fired four shots and wasn’t killed, and the small manor is empty. Let’s loot him!”

The two nodded, each taking a bag, with clear division of labor.

Liu Yan, meanwhile, jumped into the water to loot the corpse that had been bitten to death by the alligator.

”Miss Alligator, don’t bite me...”

Liu Yan carefully approached the corpse, trying to avoid stirring up too many ripples.

However, Miss Alligator, already full, had long since left gracefully, leaving only the unappetizing gear behind.

”Level 2 helmet, Level 2 armor, partially modified MP5. No wonder he wanted to get close.”

After equipping the gear one by one, Liu Yan went to rendezvous with Fuji and the other.

The other two enemies were bare-geared, each with a sniper rifle.

One of them was an R93 sniper rifle worth around 100,000.

The other was more valuable.

It was a slightly modified M700, worth about 300,000.

With a foregrip and stock added, the M700 looked incredibly cool and imposing.

”Let’s head to the extraction point from this way,” Liu Yan said, pointing to a path.

Liu Yan didn’t plan to be greedy for the enemy on the crashed plane; that position was too conspicuous.

As for the Hafke Radar Station and the Diamond Queen Hotel, Liu Yan planned to visit them next round.

After all, they had already secured a team’s worth of gear.

Looting some more items on the way to extraction would already be a significant haul.

”Why are you so conservative this time? You weren’t like this before,” Fuji teased.

Liu Yan walked forward, explaining the reason to the two:

”This place is different from Dam Zero. There’s too little cover, and if you have too many supplies, your movement speed will be too slow, and you’ll become a live target.”

Meanwhile, Teacher Qi in the classroom nodded in satisfaction upon hearing this.

”Students, what Liu Yan said is exactly what’s in the textbook!”

”Since Liu Yan brought it up today, this lesson will be about ’How Extraction is Mastered’.”

Teacher Qi, holding a pointer, began to lecture eloquently while pointing at the screen.

Clearly, Liu Yan had now become an indispensable teaching material for Teacher Qi’s lessons.
