Delta is Coming, Big Red Has Special Effects

6: Ashara Shield“So, he just tried to fight an Asala Guard Soldier empty-handed? ”

“How is that possible? ”

“Didn’t this guy enter the Third District before? Doesn’t he know that all Guard Soldiers are muscular devils? ”

The students watching Liu Yan all frowned.

Although Liu Yan’s actions were reckless, such courage and daring made everyone feel a sense of admiration.

“What the hell was that? ”

Liu Yan sat up in fear from the ground. At this moment, he had appeared in an open space near the portal.

The fear brought by the ’life flashing before one’s eyes’ moment, when the bullet hit him squarely between the eyebrows, hadn’t completely faded.

“Developer! You m*therf*cker, is this an AI?! ”

Liu Yan, having fully reacted, stood up, feeling a bit ’red-lined’.

He had always been frustrated by the mysterious code of the AI in the game before.

Now, in the real world, the AI had become even more overpowered?

His skill level, which was good enough to protect an escort, was instantly killed by an AI with one shot here.

The more Liu Yan thought about it, the more ’red-lined’ he became, and he walked directly towards the distant stalls.

He skillfully arrived in front of the stall selling medical supplies.

Under the bewildered gaze of the boss, he casually grabbed a medkit, a board of painkillers, and a bandage, then left gracefully, leaving only one sentence:

“Put it on my tab.”

Liu Yan entered Dam Zero again.

He still landed steadily from the helicopter, glanced at the drone, then Liu Yan began to confirm his respawn location.

This time, the respawn location was Cement Factory Point One.

After confirming the location, Liu Yan didn’t delay and immediately began to scavenge for nearby supplies.

He knew that there were three possible respawn points near him that might come to the Cement Factory.

He had to take advantage of this time difference to kill an Asala Soldiers to get a firearm.

He didn’t even have a knife; if he encountered someone, he would just be at their mercy.

Fortunately, the map scale here was much larger than in the game, which could buy Liu Yan some more time.

Liu Yan skillfully entered the room in the Cement Factory that had an air cargo container.

Upon entering, Liu Yan habitually glanced at the overhead pipes.

The reason was that he had been ambushed and killed by someone hiding on the pipes when playing the game before.

Liu Yan struggled to pry open the air cargo container.

“In the game, it just takes one click. I didn’t expect it to be so strenuous here.”

After prying open the air cargo container, no search animation appeared.

Liu Yan immediately understood; it seemed that searching for supplies here also required him to actually rummage through it himself.

Liu Yan fully leaned his upper body into the air cargo container and began to rummage constantly.

The familiar drop rate gave Liu Yan, far away in another world, a sense of security.

“This reassuring drop rate.”

Liu Yan stroked the broken B-grade stonemason’s hammer he found in the huge air cargo container, revealing a smile.

In the game, if such a green item was found in an air cargo container of this level, one would only feel unlucky.

But no matter what, he now had a melee weapon.

Liu Yan swung the stonemason’s hammer in his hands a few times.

After getting used to the weight, Liu Yan cautiously made his way around to the vicinity of the elevated platform.

In the game, an Asala Shield Soldier would consistently spawn at the elevated platform in the Cement Factory.

In the real world, a Shield Soldier wearing a fully enclosed helmet would definitely not have the hearing of an ordinary Soldier.

If he could quietly sneak behind the opponent, he could bludgeon him to death.

At that time, he could not only strip the Shield Soldier’s equipment but also search another air cargo container.

If he was lucky, there might even be a large safe spawning on the elevated platform.

After all, without a map, no one knew exactly where the large safe spawned.

Clang — — —

Clang — — — —

The heavy sound of footsteps on metal entered Liu Yan’s ears.

Liu Yan could now determine the Shield Soldier’s position.

Hearing the direction of the Asala Shield Soldier’s movement, Liu Yan confirmed his orientation.

After carefully sneaking up to the top of the elevated platform from the stairs the opponent was facing away from.

Liu Yan saw the two-meter-tall red figure.

At this moment, the Asala Shield Soldier had already removed his shield and was standing relaxed next to an air cargo container.

Liu Yan lowered his posture and breathing rate, cautiously moving towards the Shield Soldier.

Meanwhile, the teachers and students watching on the other side of the screen also held their breath.

“Actually, we can breathe…”

“I can’t take it anymore, I feel a bit nervous.”

“This kid, without a gun, still dares to target an Asala Shield Soldier? ” Teacher Qi wiped the sweat from his forehead.

Let alone no gun, even with a gun, everyone would unanimously walk around an Asala Shield Soldier.

The bullets fired here were all hard cash.

Moreover, the Shield Soldier was tough and had no good equipment on him, a typical thankless task.

“Don’t you think he seems particularly familiar with this place? ”

“From the beginning, all his routes had clear destinations…”

A top-performing student noticed this detail.

After his reminder, everyone recalled that from the very beginning at the Tourist Center.

To the current Cement Factory, Liu Yan merely glanced around after landing.

Then, all his routes were as if he was walking through his own living room.

Even professional operatives would need to carefully consider and identify before daring to proceed.

In the screen, Liu Yan was now standing less than a meter away from the Shield Soldier.

At this distance, the long-handled stonemason’s hammer could already reach the opponent.

Liu Yan slowly raised the stonemason’s hammer. If this were in the game, a hit to the head would surely make the Shield Soldier ’box out’.

However, considering the differences in this world, Liu Yan did not act rashly.

After all, if this enclosed helmet withstood the damage from the stonemason’s hammer, he would fall here again.

He didn’t like to lose.

Liu Yan held the hammer horizontally at his waist, took a stable stance, and aimed at the Shield Soldier’s leg joint.

Pushing off with his back leg, twisting his waist and hips, and driving the stonemason’s hammer with both arms, the movements were fluid and seamless. The stonemason’s hammer swung directly towards the Shield Soldier’s knee joint!

Crack — — — —!!

It wasn’t over yet. The moment the Shield Soldier’s right leg lost balance due to the fracture, Liu Yan immediately adjusted his posture, aimed the stonemason’s hammer at the left leg, and swung again!

Crack — — — — —!!!

The Shield Soldier completely lost the ability to stand.

“You’ve got some nerve! ” The Shield Soldier, unable to stand, twisted his waist and aimed his gun at Liu Yan behind him.

However, Liu Yan was already prepared and swung the hammer!

Clatter — — —!

The vepr submachine gun in the Shield Soldier’s hand was instantly knocked to the ground.

Without a moment’s hesitation, after dropping the hammer, Liu Yan immediately picked up the vepr submachine gun.

“Ugh, I can’t take it anymore! ” At this moment, the two-meter-tall Shield Soldier knelt limply on the ground.

Liu Yan aimed the gun at the Shield Soldier from above.

Bang — — — —!

The first bullet passed through the gap in the observation window above the shield, hitting him squarely in the head.

However, it did not cause any damage to the Shield Soldier.

“Are you tickling me! ”

“Tsk, I’m used to it.” Liu Yan pouted.

If it were in the game, just this one shot would have made the Shield Soldier ’box out’.

“The Shield Soldiers here are a bit overpowered, but they talk as much as in the game.” Liu Yan sighed with emotion.

After speaking, Liu Yan went behind the Shield Soldier, removed his helmet, aimed the gun at the back of his head, and fired a shot.

Thus, he took down the Asala Shield Soldier without taking any damage... In the classroom.

The entire classroom was silent.

Teacher Qi rubbed his eyes, confirmed he hadn’t seen wrong, and then excitedly shouted:

“As expected of my student!!”
