I Can Devour Monsters' SSS Talents

Meanwhile, Lian looked at the fifth reservoir, it was in the lower part of the Leviathan’s side and well protected, and the creature was now more alert than before and was blocking the paths.

”Do you have any plan now?” Kain looked at him from a distance, he was breathing heavily and it was clear that he was not at his best anymore.

His amount of Mana and Resistance compared to Lian’s stats was like a joke, against such a monster and the amount of power he was forced to use, getting tired was natural.

It was unlikely that he could endure much longer, and he was slowly reaching his limit.

But at the same time, he was trying not to show any weakness, he did not want to become an extra burden in the eyes of his best friend who needed to be protected.

”Maybe I have a way.” Lian did not explain much either and raised his hand, the air around them suddenly became cold.

[Frost Dominion.]

This time, it did not spread across the whole city, he focused all of its power on half of the Leviathan’s body.

Ice rose from the black surface under the creature’s feet, first the lower limb, then the joint, then the side, and within a few seconds, a large part of the right side of the Leviathan was trapped inside a huge mass of blue-white ice.

The creature roared, its muscles tightened, and the ice began to crack.

”Good ...break it.” Lian had been waiting for this.

The Leviathan turned its body with all its strength.

KRRRRRRRRRK!

The mass of ice exploded, but along with it, several plates from the monster’s body were also torn away, some of the same plates that were protecting the reservoir.

”Great! Leave the rest to me.” Kain saw the opportunity.

[Dawnfall.]

Dozens of thin beams of light that looked like arrows, with burning and destructive tips, fell from above onto the opened section.

The goal was not to destroy it, the goal was to prevent the gap from closing.

The many lights forced the healing path to divide between several points.

Lian’s eyes lit up, and he immediately used the opportunity and entered.

[Thunder Calamity.]

The lightning went directly inside the reservoir, the creature tried to eat it with corrupted light like before, the same light that was formed from the combination of Eclipse and pure light.

The same power that had managed to disable this move before.

But the young Vorhelm cut the flow before the skill collapsed, and a huge and destructive ice claw formed on his hand, and he slammed it into the fifth reservoir with all his strength.

BOOOM!

The force was enough to crack the reservoir, and Kain also sent the final attack from a distance like before.

[Dawn Spear.]

TAK!

The fifth reservoir broke as well ...and at the same time, Lian and Kain both retreated.

”Damn ...you did great! You’re really a monster yourself.” Kain laughed loudly and still could not believe that they had managed to go this far against such a monster.

His greatest achievement had always been defeating a Level 20 Fallen, and even that had been done with traps and a lot of planning.

But now? With the help of his best friend, he was slaughtering a Level 50 Fallen!

”Your work isn’t bad either, you’re more skilled at teamwork than you think.” Lian said calmly.

”You know, Lian, I think we make a great team, no joke, this has been the best battle of my life so far.”

”We haven’t even won yet.” the young Vorhelm laughed.

”Yeah, but I’m sure we’ll win, just look, the monster is almost dead.”

The Child Of Light was right, only one reservoir remained, of course, destroying the reservoirs did not mean the complete death of the monster, but it would definitely disable its self-healing mechanism completely, and then they could finish it off.

With the help of True Sequence, Lian looked at the last one, the sixth reservoir was larger than the others.

The Leviathan had also realized how bad its situation was, it had lost a large part of its recovery power, and to protect the only remaining reservoir, all the corrupted light in its body moved toward the front part of its chest.

The black plates on that area became thicker, and at least three defensive layers were created there.

”I think it knows that this is its last one too.” Kain looked at it from a distance of one hundred meters.

”Yeah.”

”Please tell me you have a plan for this too?”

”Do you doubt me? I always have a plan.” Lian smiled and sent a direct order to his second Colony member.

Two raised its head, its eight red eyes were still under the effect of Blood Hunt Moon.

The Leviathan opened its mouth, corrupted light was gathering, and it looked like it was preparing to launch a large attack.

And the eight-eyed wolf moved forward as well.

[Reversed Maw.]

The space in front of its mouth twisted, and when the flood of corrupted light was released, part of the attack entered the reversed space directly.

The wolf lowered its body, and its bones made sounds from the damage.

The power of the light beam was too great, and part of the beam passed to the side and landed on the wolf’s shoulder, causing its skin and bone armor to burn completely.

Two roared in pain.

But the main path of the attack was redirected, and the result was a successful defense.

”Thanks, Wolf Of Doomsday, you did great.” Kain moved.

[Dawn Chains.] wrapped around the Leviathan’s neck.

[Inverted Day.]

The light around Two changed, and the white light of Blighted Radiance became darker for a moment, the black parts inside it changed direction.

The power of the attack decreased.

Lian moved, now it was his turn ...but the Leviathan was waiting for him too.

All twelve eyes turned toward him at the same time, and the beams came from twelve angles.

Feeling the attack, he immediately activated [Ashen Thunder Step].

He passed two beams, and the third blocked his exit point, then his body turned into ash and the fourth followed the path of the ash.

Feeling that he could not save himself from these beams just by running away, he directly counterattacked.

[Cataclysm Pulse.]

The shockwave redirected three beams, but unfortunately, he was not completely lucky, and the fourth hit the armor’s shoulder.

TAK!

The plate of the World-Devourer Bastion turned black, and the line underneath it went out.

[World-Devourer Bastion Integrity has decreased.]

[Structural Memory activated.]

The metal began to repair itself, but the corrupted light was still on it and the repair was eaten away again, the Leviathan’s special ability could even disable the armor’s recovery structure.

Lian immediately locked World-Bearing Frame onto that area, and the internal paths of the armor separated from the infected shoulder.

The corruption did not spread, this was the first time that instead of enduring an attack, he had been forced to use the armor to isolate the damage.

The Leviathan sensed this, and white-black strands came out from its armor.

But these were no longer beams ...they were more like living whips, and dozens of them danced in the sky like lightning.
