Myriad Heavens: Rise of the Rune God

Chapter 41: Chapter 41: Years of Growth Training Complex

First Night (Month 1, Subjective Time)

The training complex was impressive—a sprawling facility that seemed to anticipate their needs. Combat arenas of various sizes, meditation chambers with concentrated qi, technique libraries, equipment storage, living quarters, even a full kitchen.

”The Pocket Universe adapts to what I need,” Runar explained as they explored. ”It generated all this when I decided to bring you here for training.”

Celestia ran her fingers along a training dummy. ”These are reinforced with formation arrays. They can withstand...” She pushed qi into it experimentally. The dummy absorbed her Stage 50 attack without a scratch.

”Supernova-level attacks, At minimum. We’re going to be pushing hard. Regular equipment would break immediately.” Runar replied

They settled into one of the meditation rooms—a circular chamber with runic arrays carved into every surface, amplifying the already-dense qi even further.

”First things first,” Runar said. ”Your foundation. It’s good—excellent, even. But we’re going to perfect it.”

He pulled out a scroll from his system inventory. ”This is the Void Empress Ascension. The cultivation technique I designed specifically for you.”

Celestia took it reverently, unrolling it. Her eyes widened as she read.

”This is... Runar, this is Peak Supreme Grade. You made this? For me?”

”Your Void-Ice-Water-Space-Time affinity and physique combination is unique. Standard techniques won’t optimize it properly. This will.”

She read through the technique details, her expression growing more amazed with each section. ”A Frozen Void Singularity dantian... spatial corridors for meridians... this is incredible.”

”It’s also complex. It’ll take time to transition from your current technique to this one. Probably a month of careful integration.”

”A month subjective time?”

”Yes. About half a second outside.”

Celestia laughed. ”I love this place already. Let’s start.”

Month 1-2: Foundation Reconstruction

The integration process was delicate work.

Celestia sat in deep meditation while Runar guided her through each step. Her existing cultivation foundation—built on a good but standard ice-water technique—needed to be carefully deconstructed and rebuilt according to the Void Empress Ascension principles.

Week 1: Gradually shifting her dantian structure. The spiral qi sea she’d been using slowly collapsed inward, space itself bending under the technique’s influence.

Week 2: The Frozen Void Singularity began forming. A point of absolute cold and emptiness at her core, crystallizing void itself into a stable structure.

Week 3: Her meridians restructured. Instead of simple channels, they became spatial corridors—micro-dimensional shortcuts that let qi travel instantly through her body.

Week 4: Her bones began their transformation. Void-ice crystals forming within the marrow, making them simultaneously defensive and offensive.

By the end of Month 1, the transition was complete.

Celestia opened her eyes, and they glowed with void-purple depths.

”I feel... different. Complete. Like this is what I was always supposed to be cultivating.”

”Check your cultivation speed,” Runar suggested.

She cycled her qi through the new technique. Her eyes widened. ”It’s... fifty thousand times base speed? With my physique, it’s—”

”One hundred and fifty thousand times normal cultivation speed,” Runar confirmed. ”And that will increase as your physique evolves.”

”This is insane.” She stood, testing her body. ”Everything feels more efficient. My qi responds instantly. The spatial corridors in my meridians—I can feel qi traveling through dimensional shortcuts.”

”Good. Now we start the real training.” Runar pulled out another pill. ”But first—another Void Phoenix Pill.”

Month 2: Second Physique Enhancement

This time, Celestia knew what to expect.

The second Void Phoenix Physique Enhancement Pill went down smoothly. The transformation was less dramatic than the first time—her physique was already Peak Divine Grade, after all.

But the effects were still substantial.

Peak Divine Grade → Low Supreme Grade

New energies awakened. Her spatial sense expanded dramatically—she could now perceive space within a hundred-kilometer radius with perfect clarity. Her void affinity deepened to the point where she could feel the emptiness between atoms.

Minor time manipulation manifested. Nothing major—just the ability to perceive events a fraction of a second before they happened, giving her incredible reaction speed.

Her cultivation surged: Stage 50 → Stage 75.

And her combat ability... Runar tested her immediately after consolidation.

They sparred in one of the larger arenas, Runar suppressing himself to early Meteor Forging level.

Celestia moved like water and struck like winter itself. Her spear—one of the training weapons—seemed to teleport through space, appearing at impossible angles. Ice formed and shattered in perfect patterns. Void-energy tore at his defenses.

After thirty minutes, Runar called a halt.

”You can fight mid-Planetary Core cultivators now. At Stage 75 Stardust Awakening, that’s...” He calculated. ”About 2 major realms of cross-realm combat ability.”

”Is that good?” Celestia asked, breathing hard but grinning.

”It’s exceptional. Most geniuses can manage five stages of cross-realm combat. You’re multiplied that.”

”Then let’s keep going. I want more.”

Months 3-6: Intensive Training

The routine they established was brutal but effective:

Daily Schedule (repeated for months):

6 Hours - Combat Training

Runar as opponent, gradually increasing difficulty, Weapon techniques (spear primary, but learning others), Hand-to-hand combat, Domain creation practice, Multi-opponent scenarios (Runar created runic clones)

8 Hours - Cultivation

Absorbing the Pocket Universe’s dense qi Refining her dantian structure Strengthening meridians and acupoints Soul cultivation exercises

4 Hours - Law Comprehension

Studying Ice Law, Water Law, Space Law, Void Law, Time Law. Runar sharing insights from his own mastery. Meditation on fundamental principles, Practical application through technique creation.

3 Hours - Technique Development

By Month 6, Celestia’s progress was staggering:

Cultivation: Stage 75 → Stage 100 (Stardust Awakening limit)

Intent Mastery:

Spear Intent: Level 10 (Perfect) Ice Intent: Level 10 (Perfect) Water Intent: Level 10 (Perfect) Space Intent: Level 9 Void Intent: Level 8

Techniques Mastered: 47 total (ranging from Heaven to Peak Divine Grade, most at Perfection level)

Original Techniques Created: 8

Frozen Void Lance (Divine Grade) Spatial Ice Prison (Divine Grade) Winter’s Severance (Supreme Grade - her masterpiece so far) And 5 others

Combat Ability: Can fight ordinary Peak Planetary Core opponents

Physical Age: 5 → 6 years old (still very young, but growing)

Real World Check-In: Day 2-3

Outside the Pocket Universe, only two nights had passed.

Jake noticed something at breakfast. ”Runar... did you get taller?”

Runar glanced down. His transformation technique had slipped slightly—he now appeared about 8 years old instead of 7. ”Maybe? I feel like something’s shifting inside me.”

”Physique awakening continuing?” Lirien asked, concerned but excited.

”Probably,” Runar said, which was technically true.

Celestia, sitting across from him, looked about six years old now—noticeably older than the five-year-old who’d arrived yesterday.

”You too, Celestia?” Seraphina asked (she’d come to visit). ”You look different.”

”I can feel something awakening,” Celestia said honestly. ”It’s like my body is changing.”

”Both of them?” Jake and Seraphina exchanged glances. ”That’s... unusual. But not unheard of. Sometimes training partners’ physiques resonate with each other.”

”We should monitor this carefully,” Lirien said. ”If you grow too fast—”

”We’ll be careful,” Runar promised.

After the parents left them alone for ”daytime training,” Celestia whispered, ”They’re going to figure it out eventually.”

”They’ll accept it as physique awakening,” Runar said. ”Which is true—your physique IS continuously evolving. We’re just... accelerating the timeline.”

”By sixteen years.”

”Details.”

Month 8: Third Physique Enhancement

Two subjective months after the second pill, Runar judged Celestia ready for the third and final Void Phoenix Physique Enhancement Pill.

”This is the last one,” he said, holding out the glowing crystal. ”After this, your physique will be at Peak Supreme Grade—a level below mine.”

Celestia took it solemnly. ”And when I break through to Meteor Forging?”

”It should evolve to Primordial Grade. Like mine did.”

She swallowed the pill.

The transformation was the most intense yet.

Low Supreme Grade → Mid Supreme Grade → High Supreme Grade → Peak Supreme Grade

Three sub-stage jumps in one enhancement. Her body glowed with brilliant void-purple and ice-blue light, the two energies dancing together in perfect harmony.

Space around her warped visibly. Ice crystals formed in complex geometric patterns. Time seemed to slow in her immediate vicinity—not from technique, but from her physique’s natural authority over space-time.

Her cultivation exploded: Stage 100 → Stage 150.

New abilities manifested:

Spatial Manipulation (Instinctive): She could now teleport short distances without conscious thought.

Void Generation: Could create small pockets of true void—spaces where nothing existed, not even space itself.

Temporal Perception: Time-sight extended to 5 seconds into the future for danger prediction.

Frozen Concept: Could begin freezing abstract concepts like ”heat” or ”momentum,” not just physical objects.

When the light faded, Celestia had changed dramatically.

Her hair was now deep silver with purple highlights. Her eyes held void-purple depths that seemed infinite. Her presence had weight—standing near her felt like being near something primordial and ancient.

”I feel...” She struggled for words. ”Complete. Like I’ve reached a threshold. One more realm breakthrough and...”

”Your physique will evolve to Primordial Grade,” Runar confirmed. ”You’ll be on par with the rarest physiques in all of humanity.”

She looked at her hands, watching void-energy swirl naturally around her fingers. ”Thank you. For everything. The pills, the training, this place...”

”Thank me by getting stronger. We’re only halfway through our time here.”

”Then let’s keep going.”

Months 9-14: Pushing Limits

With her physique at Peak Supreme Grade, Celestia’s cultivation accelerated beyond comprehension.

Her new cultivation speed: ×150,000 base became ×750,000 with her Peak Supreme physique.

She was cultivating nearly a million times faster than normal humans.

Month 9: Stage 150 → Stage 200

Month 10: Stage 200 → Stage 250

Month 11: Stage 250 → Stage 300

Month 12: Stage 300 → Stage 333

At Stage 333, she hit the barrier. The same wall Runar had broken through by treating it as software limit rather than cosmic law. (I made a mistake here, Runar broke through at the 33rd stage of Stardust Awakening. But I am too lazy to re-edit where I made mistakes, so take it like that.)

”I can feel it,” she said, meditating at the barrier. ”The supposed ’absolute limit’ of Stardust Awakening realm. But it’s not real. It’s just... convention. Belief made manifest.”

”Exactly,” Runar said. ”Push through it. Your foundation is perfect. Your physique is Peak Supreme. You can handle what’s beyond.”

She pushed.

The barrier cracked.

Stage 333 → Stage 334.

And she kept going.

Month 13: Stage 334 → Stage 400

Month 14: Stage 400 → Stage 450

Her Law comprehension exploded during this period:

Ice Law: 60% Water Law: 55% Space Law: 45% Void Law: 35% Time Law: 20%

She was approaching the theoretical maximum for Laws—that 100% threshold before Rule comprehension.

Her combat ability now rivaled peak Solar Flare cultivators. She could fight across 5 realms of realm difference.

System Rewards Trigger

As Celestia broke through Stage 333, Runar’s system activated:

The system really does reward proper mentorship, he thought. Good to know.

Months 15-16: Final Preparations for Breakthrough

Celestia stood at Stage 450 of Stardust Awakening—impossibly far beyond theoretical limits, her foundation diamond-hard from years of perfect cultivation.

”I’m ready,” she announced one morning (Month 15, Day 20). ”Ready to break through to Meteor Forging.”

”Are you sure?” Runar asked. ”We could consolidate further—”

”I’m sure. My foundation is perfect. My physique is Peak Supreme. My Laws are high enough. And...” She grinned. ”I want to see what happens when I breakthrough with this ridiculous foundation.”

Runar nodded. ”Then we prepare properly. The breakthrough to Meteor Forging is the first major realm transition. It’s dangerous even with perfect preparation.”

They spent two weeks preparing:

Consuming Foundation Stabilization Pills Meditating to perfect mental state Creating protective formations Ensuring her dantian structure could handle the transformation

Finally, she was ready.

The Breakthrough to Meteor Forging

Celestia sat in the largest meditation chamber, surrounded by protective formations Runar had spent days creating.

He’d given her the Primordial Physique Evolution Catalyst in pill form. She’d consumed it an hour ago, and it was already working—priming her physique for evolution.

”Whenever you’re ready,” Runar said from outside the formations. ”I’ll monitor everything.”

Celestia took a deep breath and began.

Her Void Empress Ascension technique activated at full power. The Frozen Void Singularity in her dantian began spinning faster, drawing in massive amounts of qi from the environment.

The breakthrough process began.

In Meteor Forging realm, cultivators condensed their qi into solid forms—nine spheres orbiting the dantian core. But Celestia wasn’t aiming for nine.

Following Runar’s advice, she was aiming for 333.

Her dantian expanded. Space warped inside her body. The first sphere condensed—

BOOM.

A shockwave of energy exploded outward. The formations contained it, but barely.

First sphere complete.

She kept going. Second. Third. Tenth. Twentieth.

Each sphere was exponentially harder to condense than the last. Each one required perfect control and massive energy input.

But she had both. Peak Supreme physique. Perfect technique. Years of training.

Fiftieth sphere. Hundredth sphere.

Her body began transforming. Not just physically—metaphysically. Her physique, primed by the Catalyst, started its evolution.

Peak Supreme Grade → Low Primordial Grade → Mid Primordial Grade → High Primordial Grade → Peak Primordial Grade

Her Void Phoenix physique became something new: Primordial Void Empress Physique.

The transformation was spectacular. Her hair became pure silver with starlight highlights. Her eyes held galaxies of void-purple and ice-blue. Her presence became overwhelming—even suppressed, she radiated authority.

Two hundredth sphere. Two hundred fiftieth.

Three hundredth.

Three hundred tenth.

Three hundred thirtieth.

Three hundred thirty-third.

COMPLETE.

Celestia opened her eyes, which now glowed with Primordial authority.

”Meteor Forging Realm, Stage 333 of 333,” she said, her voice carrying harmonics that hadn’t been there before. ”Primordial Void Empress Physique. And I feel...”

She stood, and space rippled around her.

”Incredible.”

Runar smiled. ”Welcome to the real beginning of cultivation.”
