Myriad Heavens: Rise of the Rune God

Chapter 39: Chapter 39: Creating Techniques for the Parents

Day 1 - Settling In

Celestia’s belongings materialized in the Cross family guest room through spatial manipulation—Caspian had sent them over within the hour.

The room was cozy. Modest in size but well-furnished, with a comfortable bed, study desk, and large windows overlooking the backyard training area. Celestia sat on the bed, bouncing slightly to test the mattress, grinning.

”This is perfect,” she declared.

Lirien stood in the doorway, smiling warmly. ”I’m glad you like it. We want you to feel at home here.”

”I already do, Aunt Lirien.”

”Good! Now, you two have the afternoon free. Training starts tomorrow morning.” Lirien’s expression turned slightly stern. ”But don’t overdo it on your first day. Understood?”

”Yes, Aunt Lirien,” both children chorused.

She left, closing the door behind her.

Celestia immediately turned to Runar, whispering, ”So when do we—”

”Tonight,” Runar interrupted quietly. ”After everyone’s asleep. Around 11 PM. I’ll come get you.”

”And this special place you mentioned?”

”You’ll see. Trust me—you’re going to love it.”

Her eyes sparkled with anticipation. ”I can’t wait!”

Afternoon - Runar’s Room

While Celestia unpacked and ”rested,” Runar retreated to his own room with a specific project in mind.

I’ve been thinking about this for a while, he thought, settling into meditation. My parents are stuck at Satellite Orbit realm. Caspian is Star Fusion, Seraphina is Satellite Orbit realm. All of them are using standard techniques—good techniques, but not optimized for their specific physiques and cultivation paths.

AN: I know they were at meteor forging stage, but I am changing it.

I can fix that.

”I need to create custom cultivation techniques. Four total—one for each parent. Peak Supreme Grade minimum.”

[SYSTEM NOTIFICATION]

Note: Creating multiple Supreme Grade techniques will trigger achievement rewards.

Runar smiled. Of course it will.

He entered his Comprehension Space, where time moved differently. What would be hours of work inside would be mere minutes outside.

Technique 1: For Jake Cross

Runar analyzed his father’s cultivation foundation thoroughly:

Current Realm: Satellite Orbit Stage 5

Physique: Scholarly Foundation (Mid Divine Grade) - enhances comprehension and qi refinement Current Technique: Standard Spiral Core Method (Heaven Grade)

Bottleneck Issue: Body cultivation lagging behind qi cultivation, soul development neglected

Dad’s technique only focuses on qi accumulation. His body and soul aren’t keeping pace, creating an imbalance that’s blocking his advancement.

Runar began designing.

”Triad Nexus Ascension - Peak Supreme Grade”

Core Concept: Unified body-qi-soul cultivation with emphasis on balance and refinement

Dantian Structure:

Creates a Triad Core - three interconnected spheres representing Body, Qi, and Soul Qi sphere draws energy from environment Body sphere processes physical tempering Soul sphere refines spiritual essence Energy circulates between all three constantly, ensuring balanced growth

Meridian System:

Expanded network connecting all 108 acupoints Dual-layer channels: inner for qi flow, outer for body tempering energy. Automatic qi refinement at each acupoint passage. Creates feedback loop: refined qi strengthens body → strong body holds more qi → more qi enhances soul.

Body Cultivation Method:

Qi naturally circulates through muscles, bones, organs during normal cultivation. Each cycle tempers physical form without requiring separate body cultivation sessions. Cellular-level refinement increasing density and durability. Automatic adaptation to higher-realm energy densities.

Soul Cultivation Integration:

10% of all absorbed qi automatically directed to soul strengthening, Spiritual sea expands proportionally with dantian growth. Consciousness becomes sharper, comprehension faster Soul and body reinforce each other through the Triad Core connection

Unique Features:

Perfect Balance: Impossible to advance one aspect without advancing all three

Efficient Absorption: 99% energy retention (normal techniques waste 50-70%)

No Bottlenecks: Balanced cultivation eliminates realm barriers caused by imbalance

Foundation Repair: Automatically fixes existing imbalances over time

Cultivation Speed: Base ×75,000 (Peak Supreme Grade standard)

With Jake’s physique: ×225,000 (Scholar physique enhances qi refinement)

Breakthrough Method:

When all three aspects (Body/Qi/Soul) reach threshold simultaneously, breakthrough occurs naturally. No dangerous tribulations or forced breakthroughs needed Smooth, safe advancement through all realms

Technique 2: For Lirien Cross

His mother’s cultivation profile:

Current Realm: Satellite Orbit Stage 4.

Physique: Nurturing Essence (Mid Divine Grade) - enhances life-attribute qi and recovery.

Current Technique: Lotus Heart Method (Heaven Grade).

Bottleneck Issue: Strong qi cultivation, but body hasn’t been properly tempered, soul development minimal.

”Verdant Trinity Ascension - Peak Supreme Grade”

Core Concept: Life-attributed unified cultivation with regenerative properties

Dantian Structure:

Creates a Living Trinity Core - resembles a blooming flower with three petals.

Each petal represents Body, Qi, and Soul.

Core generates life-attributed energy that nourishes all three simultaneously.

Natural regeneration effect: slowly heals any cultivation damage or imbalance.

Meridian System:

Life-qi flows through expanded meridian network like sap through a tree

Meridians self-repair and strengthen over time

Each circulation naturally purifies body of impurities

Creates micro-formations at major acupoints for energy storage

Body Cultivation Method:

Life-qi automatically reinforces cells, preventing aging and decay Bones become jade-like: hard but flexible Organs achieve peak efficiency Natural healing factor: injuries heal during normal cultivation Body tempering occurs passively through qi circulation

Soul Cultivation Integration:

Life energy naturally nourishes the soul Spiritual sea grows like a garden - steady, continuous, natural.

Soul becomes resilient, resistant to mental attacks

Consciousness clarity improves with each realm

Unique Features:

Regenerative Balance: If one aspect is damaged, the other two help repair it

Impurity Purging: Automatically cleanses body of toxins and flawed qi

Anti-Deviation: Life attribute prevents cultivation deviation

Longevity: Extends lifespan dramatically beyond normal for each realm

Cultivation Speed: Base ×75,000

With Lirien’s physique: ×225,000 (Nurturing Essence amplifies life-attribute cultivation)

Technique 3: For Caspian Stormwind

Analysis of Caspian’s foundation:

Current Realm: Star Fusion Stage (middle)

Physique: Storm Sovereign (Peak Divine Grade) - lightning/wind affinity, high energy output

Current Technique: Thunder Emperor Method (Divine Grade)

Bottleneck Issue: Extreme qi cultivation, but body can barely handle the power, soul underdeveloped

”Tempest Unity Ascension - Peak Supreme Grade”

Core Concept: High-energy unified cultivation balancing explosive power with stability

Dantian Structure:

Creates Storm Triad Core - a stable eye surrounded by rotating energy Three layers: Lightning (Qi), Wind (Body), Thunder (Soul) Energy cycles through layers at extreme speed Generates and refines vast amounts of power while maintaining perfect balance

Meridian System:

Lightning-resistant meridian walls reinforced with wind-attribute flexibility Triple-layer channels: lightning flow, wind flow, thunder resonance High-capacity acupoints store explosive energy safely Pressure-release formations prevent meridian damage from power surges

Body Cultivation Method:

Lightning qi tempers body with each circulation, increasing conductivity Wind qi enhances flexibility and reaction speed Thunder attribute strengthens bones and muscles Body becomes a living storm: capable of containing and directing massive power Natural resistance to energy backlash

Soul Cultivation Integration:

Thunder attribute (combination of lightning and sound) naturally strengthens soul Spiritual sea becomes a storm domain - vast and powerful Soul develops ”storm perception” - instant battlefield awareness Consciousness processes information at lightning speed

Unique Features:
