Myriad Heavens: Rise of the Rune God

Chapter 16: Chapter 16: Transcendent Comprehension

Day 3 After Transformation

Runar sat in his room, door locked, curtains drawn. His parents thought he was resting after ”exercising too hard” yesterday—which wasn’t entirely untrue, considering he’d restructured his entire cultivation base.

But rest was the last thing on his mind.

*I can’t breakthrough to Meteor Forging Stage 10. Fine. Then I’ll use this time to build my foundation in other ways.*

He pulled up his system interface, reviewing his resources:

- Law Stones: Space (x10), Time (x5), Sword (x20), Fire (x15), Lightning (x15), Death (x3), Life (x3), Karma (x1), Fate (x1), Runes (x1)

- Comprehension Space: Unlimited access, 1000x comprehension boost

- HDCM: Running constantly, can be actively cultivated for even greater effect

- Time: One month until academy entrance

*In the outside world, I have one month. But in the Comprehension Space...*

He did the math. With time nearly frozen outside, and his brain now fully developed to handle extended sessions, he could potentially spend *years* in the Comprehension Space.

Years to study. Years to master. Years to perfect.

*First priority: The Heaven-Defying Comprehension Mantra itself. If I actively cultivate it instead of just letting it run passively, I can increase its effects exponentially.*

Runar entered the Comprehension Space.

---

**[ENTERING COMPREHENSION SPACE REALM...]**

The infinite white void materialized, and Runar’s adult form solidified. He took a deep breath, feeling the absolute clarity of thought, the perfect mental state.

*Let’s begin.*

He sat cross-legged in the void and turned his full attention to the HDCM running in the background of his consciousness.

The mantra was always active, always refining his comprehension ability. But actively cultivating it—focusing on it with complete concentration, optimizing each cycle, perfecting each iteration—would multiply its effects.

Runar began.

The mantra operated on multiple levels simultaneously, restructuring consciousness itself. He could *feel* it working now that he was paying attention—microscopic changes in his soul’s architecture, neural pathways that didn’t exist in physical brains being optimized, the very essence of thought becoming more efficient.

Hours passed. Then days.

**Day 7 (Subjective):**

**[HDCM CULTIVATION PROGRESS: 15%]**

**[COMPREHENSION ABILITY: +1,500%]**

**[THINKING SPEED: +800%]**

**[SOUL CRYSTALLIZATION: 50% → 58%]**

Runar could feel the difference. Concepts that would have taken him minutes to fully grasp now clicked instantly. His mind processed information like a supercomputer, making intuitive leaps that seemed almost like precognition.

*And this is just the beginning.*

**Day 30 (Subjective):**

**[HDCM CULTIVATION PROGRESS: 45%]**

**[COMPREHENSION ABILITY: +8,000%]**

**[THINKING SPEED: +3,000%]**

**[SPIRITUAL PERCEPTION: +5,000%]**

**[SOUL CRYSTALLIZATION: 58% → 72%]**

**[SPIRITUAL SEA: Expanded to 50x normal size]**

His mind had become something transcendent. He could hold thousands of simultaneous thoughts, process millions of data points in seconds, understand concepts at depths that normal cultivators could never achieve.

The HDCM wasn’t just making him smarter—it was fundamentally upgrading what *consciousness itself- the software.* meant for him.

**Day 90 (Subjective):**

**[HDCM CULTIVATION PROGRESS: 78%]**

**[COMPREHENSION ABILITY: +25,000%]**

**[THINKING SPEED: +10,000%]**

**[PATTERN RECOGNITION: +15,000%]**

**[SOUL CRYSTALLIZATION: 72% → 89%]**

**[SPIRITUAL SEA: Expanded to 200x normal size]**

**[MIND DEPTH: All four layers fully developed and optimized]**

*This is insane. I can barely recognize my own thought processes anymore. Everything is so... clear. So obvious. Like I’ve been looking at the world through fog my entire life and it’s finally lifted.*

**Day 180 (Subjective - Six Months):**

**[HDCM CULTIVATION PROGRESS: 95%]**

**[COMPREHENSION ABILITY: +50,000%]**

**[THINKING SPEED: +20,000%]**

**[SOUL CRYSTALLIZATION: 89% → 95%]**

**[SPIRITUAL SEA: Expanded to 500x normal size]**

**[SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENT: Consciousness has evolved to Transcendent Tier]**

**[NEW ABILITY UNLOCKED: Parallel Thought Processing]**

**[Can now run up to 100 independent thought streams simultaneously]**

Runar opened his eyes in the Comprehension Space, and the world looked *different*.

He could see patterns everywhere. The flow of energy in the void around him. The runic structures underlying reality itself. The mathematical precision of existence.

And his mind... his mind was operating on a level he’d never imagined possible.

He could think about one hundred different topics at the same time, each thought stream as clear and focused as if it were his only concern. One part of his mind could be analyzing cultivation theory while another composed poetry while a third solved complex mathematical equations—all simultaneously, all effortlessly.

*This is what the HDCM can achieve at near-perfect cultivation. And I still have 5% to go.*

But he couldn’t push further. The final 5% would come naturally over time, as he used the enhanced consciousness to comprehend deeper truths. It couldn’t be forced.

*Alright. The HDCM is as developed as it can be for now. Time for the next phase: Intent mastery.*

---

**INTENT COMPREHENSION - THE Beginning**

Runar pulled Law Stones from his inventory, creating a working area in the Comprehension Space. He’d start with the easiest Intent first—the one his bloodline predisposed him toward.

*Space Intent.*

He held the Space Law Stone, pressing it to his forehead. Knowledge flooded in—not just information, but *understanding*. The nature of space itself. How it could be folded, torn, compressed, expanded.

With his 50,000x comprehension ability and the Comprehension Space’s 1,000x boost, his effective comprehension was 50,000,000x normal.

Fifty million times faster than a regular cultivator.

**Three Hours Later:**

**[SPACE INTENT: MASTERED TO LEVEL 10]**

Runar opened his eyes and *saw* space differently. He could perceive the fabric of reality, see the natural folds and weak points, understand instinctively how to manipulate it.

He stood, took a step, and appeared ten feet away without actually moving through the intervening distance. Not teleportation—not yet—but spatial manipulation that made movement more like suggestion than necessity.

*Three hours for perfect Space Intent mastery. What would take normal cultivators decades, I achieved before lunch.*

*Let’s keep going.*

He picked up the Sword Law Stone next.

**Six Hours Later:**

**[SWORD INTENT: MASTERED TO LEVEL 10]**

The moment it clicked, Runar understood *cutting* at a fundamental level. How to separate things that were connected. How force and angle and timing and will all combined into the perfect severance.

He extended his hand and made a cutting motion. The air in front of him split, a thin line of absolute nothing appearing where space itself had been divided.

*My Void Severance Katana Soul will synergize beautifully with this.*

He continued. Lightning Intent. Fire Intent. Ice Intent. One after another, the Intents fell before his transcendent comprehension.

Some were faster than others. Lightning Intent took only four hours—it was straightforward, direct, explosive. Time Intent took three days of subjective time—it was slippery, paradoxical, requiring understanding of causality and existence that even his enhanced mind struggled with initially.

Death Intent was disturbing to comprehend, requiring him to truly understand mortality, cessation, the ending of all things. Life Intent balanced it out—growth, continuation, persistence against entropy.

Destruction and Creation. Yin and Yang. Slaughter and Battle.

Weeks passed in the Comprehension Space. Then months.

Runar lost himself in the study, his parallel thought streams allowing him to work on multiple Intents simultaneously. One part of his mind studied Metal Intent while another worked on Wood Intent while a third explored Gravity Intent.

The Law Stones helped immensely. Each one contained the crystallized comprehension of experts who’d spent lifetimes understanding their respective Laws. Runar absorbed that knowledge and, with his absurd comprehension ability, pushed beyond it to perfect mastery.

**Month 8 (Subjective):**

**[INTENTS MASTERED TO LEVEL 10: 20]**

Elemental Intents: Fire, Water, Lightning, Wind, Earth, Ice, Metal, Wood, Light, Darkness

Weapon Intents: Sword, Blade, Spear, Fist, Palm

Conceptual Intents: Space, Death, Life, Destruction, Creation

He was halfway through his planned Intent comprehension, and his combat capabilities had already increased by orders of magnitude.

When he performed a sword strike now, it carried ten different Intents simultaneously—Sword, Space, Lightning, Wind, Destruction, and more—all working in harmony to create an attack that was far more than the sum of its parts.

*But I’m not done yet.*

**Month 12 (Subjective - One Year):**

**[INTENTS MASTERED TO LEVEL 10: 30]**

Added: Weapon Intent (universal), Time, Yin, Yang, Slaughter, Battle, Killing, Speed, Strength, Defense

Time Intent had been the hardest. It took him an entire month of subjective time just to reach Level 10, requiring him to reconcile paradoxes and understand causality at levels that made his enhanced brain hurt.

But once he achieved it, the results were profound.

He could *feel* the flow of time now. Not control it—not yet, that required Law comprehension—but sense it, understand it, occasionally nudge it slightly in his immediate vicinity.

**Month 15 (Subjective):**

**[INTENTS MASTERED TO LEVEL 10: 40]**

Final additions: Rune Intent, Gravity, Force, Momentum, Illusion, Reality, Void, Chaos, Star, Cosmic

The last ten had been the most abstract. Reality Intent required understanding that existence itself was mutable. Void Intent meant comprehending nothingness—not as absence, but as a fundamental state. Chaos Intent, aided by studying the Chaos Droplet, showed him that disorder was its own form of order.

Star Intent and Cosmic Intent were natural progressions of his cultivation technique’s stellar theme. He understood stars not as distant objects but as cultivation resources, cosmic furnaces where reality itself was forged.

When he finally achieved Level 10 in Cosmic Intent, something shifted.

**[SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENT: 40 INTENTS AT PERFECT MASTERY]**

**[SYNERGY EFFECT UNLOCKED: Intent Fusion]**

**[Can now combine multiple Intents into compound effects]**

**[COMBAT POWER: Increased by estimated 10,000%]**

Runar tested it immediately.

He visualized a sword strike infused with Space, Time, Sword, Lightning, Destruction, Reality, and Void Intents all at once.

The theoretical strike would:

- Cut through space (Space)

- Arrive before it was thrown (Time)

- Sever perfectly (Sword)

- Carry lightning’s speed and power (Lightning)

- Annihilate whatever it touched (Destruction)

- Rewrite the target’s existence (Reality)

- Erase the target from reality (Void)

*That’s... that’s terrifying. And I can do it casually now.*

Unfortunately he didn’t know the backlash that will be coming for him if you really tried it

But he wasn’t finished with his training.

*Intent mastery complete. Now for Laws.*

---

**LAW COMPREHENSION - Touching the Fundamental**

Laws were different from Intents. Intents were understanding and will—comprehending a concept and imposing your will upon it. Laws were reality itself—the actual rules that governed existence.

Comprehending Laws meant touching the fabric of the universe and learning to read its source code.

Runar returned to the Law Stones, but this time he approached them differently. He didn’t just absorb the knowledge—he *analyzed* it. Broke it down. Understood the underlying runic structures that made each Law function.

**Space Law:**

This one came naturally. His Kun Peng bloodline gave him spatial affinity, his Space Intent provided foundation, and his rune knowledge let him see how space was *constructed*.

**Month 17 (Subjective):**

**[SPACE LAW: 10% COMPREHENSION]**

At 10%, he could create small spatial tears. Fold space to move faster. Sense spatial fluctuations for miles Collapse space directly.

**Month 19:**

**[SPACE LAW: 20% COMPREHENSION]**

At 20%, he could teleport short distances. Create spatial barriers. Expand or compress space in limited areas.

**Month 21:**

**[SPACE LAW: 30% COMPREHENSION]**

At 30%, space became his playground. He could teleport hundreds of meters. Create spatial pockets. Fold space to move at speeds that seemed like teleportation. Cut through almost any spatial lock or barrier.

*This is incredible. And Space Law is just the beginning.*
