Rebirth: Splendid Marriage in the 80s

Chapter 2440: Chapter 2376: No Kicking Allowed

He wasn’t polite at all, instantly considering himself part of the group.

The man now appeared to be around thirty years old. When he smiled, two fine lines appeared by the corners of his eyes, but somehow these lines added a touch of charm to his demeanor.

He definitely had a certain appeal.

However, the clothes he wore were those akin to a common farmer in his forties or fifties — rough cloth shirt, wide cloth pants, worn loosely, completely obscuring the strong physique beneath.

Chiang Xiao was about to speak to him when Meng Xinian suddenly kicked a handful of sand at him, laughing and cursing, ”You bastard, so it’s you! How did you end up here?”

Huh?

Chiang Xiao, Wang Yi, and Chen Yin were all taken aback. Was this actually someone Meng Xinian knew?

The man dodged the sand kicked by Meng Xinian, jumped off the boat, and waded through the water to approach them.

”Meng Xinian, you troublemaker! I am your senior brother! We haven’t met for so many years, and this is how you greet me!”

”Senior brother my ass!”

Meng Xinian put down his things and walked over to him. It looked like they were about to shake hands and embrace happily, but as soon as they reached each other, things took a sudden turn.

The two men fiercely started to fight.

Chiang Xiao stared blankly at Meng Xinian fighting with the man, noting the man’s agile and nimble movements with a sense of bewilderment.

She asked Chen Yin in amazement, ”Who is this person? How does Brother Xinian know him?”

”Him? I have no clue either,” Chen Yin thought for a moment and said, ”But, I remember someone who Meng Xinian would treat like this. He used to be an elite in a special operations unit, had made several great achievements at eighteen or nineteen, and was rumored to be incredibly skilled in martial arts. But no one knows when it started, there were rumors that he was somewhat odd. Later, somehow, he was expelled from the special ops unit.”

”So how does he know Brother Xinian?”

”In the past, Xinian mentioned to me once that someone from that special ops team taught him many methods to maximize the effectiveness of his training — it was this person.”

Perhaps that’s why he referred to himself as Meng Xinian’s senior brother.

Those methods Meng Xinian used to train Zhao Xin and the others, often leaving them crying, partly came from this man and further refined by Xinian himself.

Chiang Xiao had never heard Meng Xinian mention such a person.

Moreover, what’s he doing here?

And how did he coincidentally run into them?

Yet, there was a boat here, and they decided randomly to visit this place today, making it unlikely that the other party came prepared.

While they were talking, Meng Xinian and the man had exchanged countless blows.

Their punches were strong and fierce with no visible restraint, so when they hit for real, it made a thudding sound of fist meeting flesh.

With every hit, Wang Yi cringed behind Chen Yin.

”Doesn’t it hurt when they fight like this?” she whispered.

Chiang Xiao suddenly remembered that Meng Xinian still had an injury on his chest, and just at that moment saw the man aiming a kick right at his chest.

She didn’t care if Meng Xinian could dodge the kick; in her urgency, she grabbed a chicken leg and hurled it at the man’s face.

”Don’t kick!”

She yelled furiously.
