Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

Peter huddled, trembling uncontrollably behind the chair, watching Zhang Beixing approach him step by step with the monster in tow.

He had never imagined that this man he had always looked down upon would dare to do something like this. Although Peter knew Zhang Beixing’s identity and his father always treated him with great respect, even fawning over him, Peter saw only the distinction between nobles and commoners in this world. Even if Zhang Beixing was strong, his lowly bloodline meant he could never catch up to these nobles in his lifetime.

”What do you want to do? Hurry up and get that damn monster out of the church.”

Zhang Beixing found Peter’s trembling and incessant shouting amusing, so he wanted to give Peter a close-up encounter with the monster.

About halfway there, Zhang Beixing paused, looking at the monster in his hand with some doubt.

Because Zhang Beixing noticed that the closer they got to Peter, the more agitated the monster became, its eyes glowing with a blood-red intensity, trembling all over, as if wanting to break free from restraint.

Zhang Beixing tightened his control over the True Qi in his hand, and the monster’s trembling body regained its stability.

However, on the surface, it seemed stable. In reality, Zhang Beixing, controlling the True Qi, knew best that the monster hadn’t given up; instead, every muscle in its body was fighting back, showing signs of self-destruction if it couldn’t break free.

This is not good, Zhang Beixing thought to himself.

He just wanted to teach this idiot living in a fantasy a lesson. If this situation ruined his plans, it would be a real loss.

So, Zhang Beixing temporarily stopped, quietly observing the monster. But the monster seemed a little out of its mind, its blood-red eyes fixed on Peter, its body silently increasing force without caring whether it would break its own arm.

Zhang Beixing inwardly thought this wasn’t good. If he wasn’t careful, the monster might harm itself, hindering his investigation into how the creature perfectly hid its aura.

The most urgent thing now was how to calm the monster down.

Zhang Beixing’s mind worked fast.

Trying to reason with something that couldn’t speak was definitely out of the question.

If he let go, he guessed that the monster, in its current state, wouldn’t come for him first but would tear Peter apart.

Letting go wasn’t an option, reasoning didn’t work either. Zhang Beixing looked at the still trembling Peter with a headache.

Why is he so aggravating?

The monster’s growls were becoming more frequent and intense. Zhang Beixing secretly increased his True Qi again. Although he could squeeze the monster to death with more force, the issue now was how to make the monster return so Zhang Beixing could continue his investigation.

Thinking of this, Zhang Beixing became a bit anxious. Simply leaving now probably wouldn’t help, and staying here would result in the monster breaking all its limbs soon.

Zhang Beixing, a bit agitated, looked at Peter, still trembling and with a defiant look that deserved a punch.

He casually slapped out a bit of True Qi, causing Peter to roll on the ground twice.

The slap was completely unexpected for both Peter and the monster, and even Zhang Beixing acted partly on impulse.

Zhang Beixing controlled the force with this slap, making Peter look a bit wretched but not hurting him. Otherwise, for an ordinary person, a single slap from Zhang Beixing could easily turn him into a mass of flesh.

Watching Peter roll on the ground twice, the monster, which had been angrily growling and resisting nonstop, suddenly paused, its blood-red eyes dimming slightly, shifting its gaze from Peter to Zhang Beixing.

It was Zhang Beixing’s first time reading something other than brutality in the monster’s eyes—a kind of unintelligent confusion.

Peter rolled twice, his clean suit now covered in dust as he staggered to his feet.

He looked at Zhang Beixing full of disbelief.

”You actually dared to hit me?”

”You actually dared to hit me!”

Peter roared, feeling like he was dreaming. He had never expected anyone to treat him so roughly. As the eldest son of the Alba Clan, he was the one who beat others at will with no one daring to fight back. Even within the clan, no matter how serious a mistake he made, White would only scold him a few times, mostly being overly concerned and then obediently cleaning up after him.

This was the first time he had encountered an impudent commoner like Zhang Beixing.

Hearing Peter’s words, Zhang Beixing sneered, then sent him flying with another slap, and Peter, who hadn’t steadied himself, fell heavily to the ground and rolled away.

Watching Peter, now covered in dust, hair in disarray, and looking bewildered, Zhang Beixing calmly said,

”I just couldn’t be bothered with you before. Next time you dare to shout and scream in front of me, it won’t just be two slaps.”

Teaching Peter a lesson was nothing for Zhang Beixing, not even a trivial matter.

Moreover, what surprised Zhang Beixing was that ever since Peter took the hits, the monster in his hand calmed down significantly.

While earlier it was ready to perish together with others at any moment, now it behaved remarkably well in Zhang Beixing’s grasp.
