Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

However, the main advantage here was the convenience it brought to Richard.

He didn’t have to be carried around by Zhang Beixing.

Because if Zhang Beixing wanted to walk without making a sound, he could do it even if there was a gong beneath his feet.

He could control it subtly enough to achieve complete silence.

Richard cautiously followed Zhang Beixing.

At a corner of the hallway, Zhang Beixing suddenly halted, and Richard almost didn’t react, nearly crashing into Zhang Beixing’s back.

Richard was about to complain about Zhang Beixing’s sudden stop when he saw Zhang Beixing in front of him raise a finger to signal for silence.

Zhang Beixing slightly lowered his body, indicating that Richard should not make any sound.

Richard quickly hunched his shoulders, and his movements became lighter.

He carefully observed Zhang Beixing ahead.

Zhang Beixing tilted his head slightly to look at a position inside the hallway turn.

Then he stood still.

Seeing this, Richard realized something was definitely up.

He quietly sidled up next to Zhang Beixing and peeked inside.

Despite the sneaky angle and limited view.

He could still make out.

Inside was a spacious hall.

The floor was made of pristine marble, and he could faintly see several large decorative pillars.

The ceiling was tiered.

Despite not being very high, the room was decorated to resemble a cathedral.

From their position in the hallway, they could see half of a cross inside the hall.

This style of decor was quite fitting for Peter.

Below the cross was a throne-like wide chair.

Seated upon it was none other than Peter.

He held a whip, continuously swinging it, seemingly striking something?

He shouted incessantly.

”Beat you to death, beat you to death.”

The scene left Zhang Beixing and Richard astounded.

Despite Peter’s typically indifferent demeanor in the manor.

He maintained his noble appearance, nothing like this.

His face contorted, exhibiting a crazed and disturbing behavior.

Peter fiercely whipped for a while, as if emptying all his strength in anger.

He tried to stand but, hindered by his crippled leg, sat heavily again, his face even more furious.

He beckoned, seemingly summoning something.

A small-framed figure then walked up to Peter.

And was kicked hard to the ground by Peter.

Seeing this, Richard and Zhang Beixing were shocked.

Just now, blocked by the turn, neither had seen what Peter was hitting.

Only now did they realize, Peter was venting his twisted oppression on this small-framed man.

The small man did not dare evade, quickly stood up, trembling overtly as he returned to Peter.

As he rose, it seemed one of his arms lacked coordination, trembling visibly as he stood before Peter again.

Zhang Beixing raised an eyebrow and glanced at Richard, who was also observing.

Zhang Beixing initially thought Peter went to such lengths to create this secretive spot only for hiding away some girl, even if Peter had peculiar hobbies, Zhang Beixing was unsurprised; he never imagined this scene.

Now, Zhang Beixing’s questioning gaze seemed to ask Richard.

”Are all your young noblemen in Europe so extravagant?”

Seeing Zhang Beixing’s gaze, Richard realized he was suspected of having unique preferences.

Richard innocently and disdainfully widened his eyes, shaking his head vigorously.

Having understood Peter’s actions, they felt no need to stay longer.

Zhang Beixing swiftly whisked Richard back downstairs silently.

Back in the previous alley, the dark-coated man saw Richard carried effortlessly to the ground and hurried to assist.

Perhaps because Zhang Beixing was less careful, Richard’s collar tightly compressed his neck, causing him to cough violently once Zhang Beixing released him.

After coughing a while, feeling his breath increasingly stable, Richard wanted to curse, even if not at Zhang Beixing directly, he still wanted to grumble.

But as he clutched his neck, Richard suddenly realized; he could make noise again, the mute point was undone.

Discovering this, Richard swallowed his complaints.

Just now regained his voice; he dared not risk being silenced again.

That really would be unspeakable suffering.

Richard composed himself, regretfully facing Zhang Beixing.

”I initially wanted to see if he was connected with this monster.

Never thought it would be like this.”

Indeed, Richard suspected Peter due to the Alba Clan’s enigmatic attitude towards him.

It seemed like there was something unsavory about him.

Now everything became quite clear.

But Zhang Beixing still seemed ponderous, after a while he suddenly told Richard.

”Not necessarily, we need to investigate that person’s identity.”

Hearing this, Richard hesitated.

”That person?”

Then quickly understood Zhang Beixing meant the small-framed figure Peter had been abusing.

Although he didn’t understand Zhang Beixing’s interest.

Since they were investigating, they might as well investigate him too.

Richard turned, instructing the dark-coated man.

”Keep an eye here, a short, particularly thin man should appear soon.”

”Observe his actions, investigate, then send me his identity info.”

Lisade gestured for the man’s height.

Seeing Richard’s words, the dark-coated man nodded.

”Yes, young master.”

After assigning the task, Richard looked at Zhang Beixing.

Planning to ask Zhang Beixing if he wanted a quick tour around Madrid City when Zhang Beixing abruptly said.

”We’ve been out for a while, time to head back.”

Hearing this, Richard instinctively took a step back, wanting to suggest taking a taxi back.

Before the words escaped, he saw a tall figure flash before him, the familiar pressure on his collar returned.

Off you go.

...

A dozen minutes later, Zhang Beixing carried a pale-faced Richard back to his room.

Having directly returned to the manor from the city meant Zhang Beixing enhanced his speed.

This caused Richard’s pulse to remain above 180 mph.

The moment his feet touched the ground, Richard felt that being steadily planted was bliss.

For now, he had no thought of protesting or complaining, silently nursing his dizzying head as he staggered out of Zhang Beixing’s room.

Richard remained quietly in his room until evening.

With slow knocking sounds, the steward’s respectful voice came from outside.

”Minister Zhang, dinner is prepared.”

Zhang Beixing opened the door, seeing Richard and the steward waiting.

The color had returned to Richard’s face, though his eyes exhibited lingering unease.

Zhang Bin shrugged.

”Let’s go.”

This time, almost no lead from the steward, Zhang Beixing and Richard navigated familiarly.

The three of them walked side by side to the banquet hall.

Entering, they saw White and his wife with two sons seated at the table, awaiting their guests.

Zhang Beixing smiled politely, taking his seat.

As he sat down.

A familiar figure entered from outside the dining hall.
