Chapter 437: Chapter 179: Enlightenment Transcendent, Establishing Sects!_7

Zhang Beixing had little difficulty assuming the Horse Stance.

But for the soldiers he was instructing on how to maintain this Horse Stance, they were about to start cursing.

The Horse Stance itself was an extremely difficult foundational posture; even within Martial Arts circles, few Martial Artists consistently practiced this foundational posture!

Now, Zhang Beixing had added twenty-five kilograms of weight on top of this already challenging exercise!

This caused many soldiers, despite their strong physiques, to find their legs uncontrollably shaking and sweat pouring down, less than ten minutes into the stance.

But as long as Zhang Beixing didn’t speak, they couldn’t relax. They forcefully endured until they absolutely couldn’t hold on any longer.

THUD!

With one person reaching their limit, their legs gave out, and they collapsed to the ground.

This seemed to trigger a chain reaction. THUD. THUD. One by one, others collapsed.

Seeing this, Zhang Beixing put away his book and checked the time. Only fifteen minutes had passed since they started the stance!

”’Not bad!’ Zhang Beixing commented. ’To be able to endure the Horse Stance with additional weight for so long, this group is definitely among the top in terms of physical fitness. They’d even surpass many Pseudo Grandmasters in Martial Arts circles.’”

This was reasonable, however. Military training was incredibly rigorous and its methods highly scientific, so it was inevitable they would surpass many Martial Artists in terms of physical conditioning.

Moreover, their willpower was commendable; each soldier had collapsed only when they absolutely could not hold on any longer.

Zhang Beixing was beginning to get a measure of them.

He then urged them to their feet. ”What are you doing lying on the ground? We haven’t even warmed up yet! Don’t rest. Come on, everyone, plank position, now!”

Zhang Beixing started a new round of exercises. After several more drills, he realized that continuing could push the men beyond their physical limits—it was already more demanding than Special Forces’ Devil Training—so he called a halt.

Then, he began to teach them the breathing method of his Heaven and Earth Natural Technique. Although profound, learning the basics and acquiring a rudimentary understanding was not difficult.

This was similar to Zhang Sanfeng’s Ultimate Skill, Tai Chi. Despite being an Ultimate Skill, it was suitable for all ages, with no barrier to entry. The entry threshold was low, but the mastery cap was high.

Thus, the first day of training ended.

In just that single day, Zhang Beixing’s reputation was firmly established—not only because of his training’s intensity but also because he trained right alongside the soldiers!

This was truly astounding! These men were Kings of Soldiers, the elite of their brigade, yet even they couldn’t endure the full regimen.

Zhang Beixing, on the other hand, looked as if nothing had happened after the exercises. He even managed to read while training.

In just that afternoon, he not only finished the Air Force Parachuting Guide but also skimmed through Complete Firearms.

He had to. ”Know yourself and know your enemy, and you will never be defeated.” Having narrowly escaped being shot, he needed to familiarize himself with the parameters of various firearms to be better prepared when facing enemies.

Being stationed in the military district presented an excellent learning opportunity, one Zhang Beixing cherished. Practicing Martial Arts and reading books? It wasn’t tiring at all; it was quite leisurely for him!

This display completely won over the defiant soldiers, quashing any initial resistance. They had no choice but to be impressed! Their new instructor, Zhang Beixing, possessed terrifying physical capabilities.

The soldiers thought, rubbing their aching bodies:

The intensity is probably just for the first day, right?

It’s like that saying, ’a new broom sweeps clean.’ He’s just making an initial show of force. It won’t always be like this, will it?

Otherwise, no matter how strong we are, our bodies won’t be able to take it!

Meanwhile, their bodies were subtly transforming under the influence of Zhang Beixing’s breathing technique. The Ultimate Skill, the Heaven and Earth Natural Technique, was beginning to show its effects and started to spread in the world.

And this was how, since ancient times, every Great Grandmaster began—by their Ultimate Skills being passed down, establishing a new lineage!
