Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

Chapter 433: Chapter 179: Enlightenment and Becoming Transcendent, Establishing a Sect!_3

”My review is that Beixing isn’t as great as the Divine Protector who can travel eight hundred li a day; now that would be awesome!”

”Traveling eight hundred li a day is awesome? I did the math, that averages out to just four meters a second—way too weak. If you ask me, Brother Bei should just go big and crazily train his running until he can cover a hundred meters in a single step; then he would have truly reached Great Accomplishment!”

”??? Are you even listening to yourself? A hundred meters in one step? What, you think you can fit a train in your pants, taking such huge steps? If Cao Zhi had your skills back then, in seven steps, he wouldn’t just get out of the Cao camp; he’d probably land directly in the enemy’s Shu Han camp!”

”.......”

As Zhang Beixing read the netizens’ comments, the System’s notification sound kept ringing in his ear.

[Suggestion: ........]

The System’s voice continued to echo. Looking at the numerous new suggestions on the panel, Zhang Beixing was lost in thought for a moment.

He indeed wanted the netizens to give him some outrageous suggestions, ones involving the Transcendent realm, so he could complete missions and advance to become Transcendent.

But...

Aren’t these suggestions a bit too outrageous?

Apart from a few seemingly feasible ones, the others were either ridiculously unachievable—like running a hundred meters in one step or the Cosmic Walk—or things like Oizaki’s Eight Challenges, which no one had ever completed since they were proposed.

Good grief, it really seemed like as long as it didn’t kill him, they wanted to push him, Zhang Beixing, to his absolute limits!

”However, it’s not entirely impossible!”

Indeed, all these ideas are Transcendent in nature; no breakthrough, no establishment...

Looking at the suggestions for ’Oizaki’s Eight Challenges, no breakthrough, no establishment!’ and ’Leaving no Tracks in the Snow, Crossing the River with a Reed!’ Zhang Beixing pondered for a moment, his brow slightly furrowed. He murmured, ”Although these suggestions seem extremely outrageous...” ...for someone like me, who has already reached the Human Physical Limit and also mastered potential forms, it might be worth a try. And this Oizaki’s Eight Challenges reminded me of a Cultivation method I had previously seen online and in books: Stealing Fate!

The Song Dynasty poet Fang Yue once wrote: ’Eight or nine out of ten things in life will go against one’s wishes, and there are but two or three people with whom one can speak of them.’

The meaning is simple: life has its highs and lows, and no one’s life is smooth sailing.

Everyone encounters hardships and setbacks, as well as applause and encouragement.

This is an eternal truth.

But the constant ups and downs are ultimately hard to accept.

If possible, everyone would want their life to go better.

Not necessarily without any troubles, but at least progressing every day.

Therefore, people came up with a very sinister Cultivation method—Stealing Fate!

The method is considered sinister because its Cultivation practices are extremely peculiar.

Cultivators must force themselves to their limits, putting themselves in mortal danger, to succeed.

Any slight laziness or slack, and all their efforts would be for naught.

According to Zhang Beixing’s previous readings, the reason for this was that Fate is incredibly profound.

It is intangible, incorporeal, colorless, tasteless, and even impossible to describe in words.

But one thing is clear: Fate is part of everything in the world.

Humans are also a part of this Fate.

Therefore, to steal Fate, one must undergo intense external stimulation, thereby causing their conscious mind to recede, rendering them unaware and momentarily freeing them from Fate’s control.

Only then can their Primordial Spirit steal and capture Fate.

To put it simply, it’s about facing fear directly, overcoming fear, and forcibly entering a state of self-forgetfulness.

This releases the subconscious restrictions set on the body, activating extraordinary potential, and making Cultivation far more effective!

For instance, engaging in Martial Arts Training without protection on the edge of a building’s rooftop, simulating ’slipperiness,’ and experiencing the sensation of falling.

Or, while practicing the Horse Stance, placing sharp steel needles on the insides of the thighs, with a sword suspended above the brow.

And besides being applicable to Martial Arts Training, Stealing Fate can also be used in other areas.

Like lifting a barbell with two cleavers tied to it—lift or die!

Or studying English with a gun to your head—learn or die!

As long as its core principle is: be forced to the brink, then break through and establish anew!

It can all be termed Stealing Fate!
