Chaos Heavenly Emperor Technique

Chapter 232: Chapter 232 Second Stage Training!

After arranging for the students to continue their weight-bearing running training at the Martial Arts Arena, Leng Jianfeng led the sixteen elites, including Lee Bufan, around a densely packed area to a grand hall at the northernmost side of the Martial Arts Square.

”We’ve arrived. Your second phase of training will be conducted here in the Heavenly Martial Hall.”

Within Heavenly Position Academy, there are five divisions: east, south, west, north, and central. Apart from the teaching buildings, the Book Collection Pavilion, and the cafeteria, all facilities related to Martial Arts training are separate.

This separation also relates to the competition between the divisions, as, without knowing how hard the competitors are working, each division can only strive to work as hard as possible to keep up.

Leng Jianfeng led Ling Feng and the others into the Heavenly Martial Hall and directly turned to a Quiet Room at the far left end.

On the door of the Quiet Room, there were the words ”Gravity Room.”

The so-called second phase of training was what those veterans referred to as ”Gravity Training.”

Although the training content in the Five Academies may differ somewhat, generally speaking, they all aim at training speed, strength, reaction, physique, and Martial Techniques.

The first-phase weight training was just the most basic training. Although some people might have deceptively high levels, if they couldn’t easily complete even the first phase of training, their practical combat abilities were also basically discernible.

”Little bunnies, the coming days will be so hard you will wish you were dead!”

Leng Jianfeng grinned, glanced towards the rows of weapon racks by the entrance of the Gravity Room, and said indifferently, ”Go on, each of you pick a weapon. If you like, you can pick a few more, just as long as you’re happy.”

”Yes!”

The students entered one by one and chose their preferred weapons from the weapon racks.

The weapons were not very heavy, weighing around one to two hundred pounds, and seemed to be made from some type of rock, making them very cumbersome and unsuitable for combat.

”Ha ha, I’ll take this one!”

Wang Yishan, stout with muscles, immediately liked a pair of Stone Hammers, one in each hand, and, grinning, swung them forcefully a few times. ”These suit me best!”

Soon, all the students had selected their Weapons. Most chose swords, and a few selected knives. Of course, the most peculiar choice was Wang Yishan’s pair of hammers, which created a whooshing sound.

”Alright, everyone has made their choices, so follow me inside.”

Leng Jianfeng scanned the students, a smile forming at the corner of his mouth when he saw Wang Yishan, then led everyone into the Gravity Room.

The entire Gravity Room was about eight hundred square meters, and with just over a dozen people inside, it felt very spacious.

Around the Gravity Room, there were special chandeliers made of crystal used for illumination, so the entire hall was enveloped in a soft glow, making it quite comfortable.

”Instructor Leng, is this the Gravity Room? It doesn’t seem special at all?” Wang Yishan couldn’t help but ask.

”You will find out soon,” Leng Jianfeng pursed his lips and said lightly, ”The entire Gravity Room is divided into three levels. The first level has gravity from one to ten times, the second level from ten to fifty times, and the third level from fifty to a hundred times!”

”The area you are all currently in is just the first level.” As he spoke, Leng Jianfeng pointed to the purple tiles on the floor and continued, ”These purple tiles indicate a Gravity Array. Wang Yishan, since you look robust, why not give everyone a demonstration first?”

”Ha ha, easy peasy!”

Wang Yishan waved the copper hammers a few times and strode onto a purple tile nearby.

As soon as he stepped on it, a purple light screen immediately rose up around him, enveloping him completely.

”Wang Yishan, you can choose the gravity multiplier yourself; you just need to shout it out!” Leng Jianfeng raised his eyebrows and chuckled, ”Once the Gravity Array activates, all you need to do is swing your weapons around in any fashion, but you mustn’t put them down to slack off!”

”Got it!” A confident smile appeared on Wang Yishan’s face as he immediately shouted, ”Ten times!”

Boom!

Before his words fell, everyone heard a loud noise. This man, as stout as a wild ox, abruptly fell to the ground and couldn’t even move a finger.

”Help—help—”

Wang Yishan cried weakly as a crowd of students rushed forward in disarray, trying to pull him out but were stopped by a purple barrier that prevented them from entering.

”Hey, hey, understand what it means to overestimate yourself?” Leng Jianfeng approached the purple square tile where Wang Yishan was, and declared aloud, ”Gravity training, cancel.”

The next moment, the purple light screen dispersed, and the gravity inside the square tile also returned to normal.

”Huff... huff...”

Wang Yishan expelled a few breaths of murky air, feeling as though his bones had fallen apart.

This was only because this bulky guy had a strong body, otherwise if it had been someone with a lesser physique, they probably would have been bedridden for a full month.

”Did everyone see that? Anyone who underestimates gravity training, this will be your fate!”

Leng Jianfeng snorted coldly and cursed, ”Alright, everyone pick a gravity zone, choose one times gravity, and if you don’t stay inside for two hours today, don’t think about coming out! Otherwise, hmm—”

Leng Jianfeng glared at everyone with ill intentions, causing everyone to shrink their necks in fear.

This ”ruthless and relentless” guy, there was nothing he wouldn’t dare to do!

”Yes!”

Everyone hurriedly nodded, each finding a purple square tile, stepping in, and selecting one times gravity.

”Hmm!” Leng Jianfeng scanned the crowd, then looked towards Ling Feng and Lee Bufan, and said with a sneer, ”You two, start at five times gravity. As for how high to go, that’s up to you!”

Lee Bufan, with a face as unchanging as Cold Ice, displayed a trace of disdain, and directly said, ”Ten times gravity!”

In an instant, the purple light screen rose, and the strength almost distorting space, soared tenfold instantly.

The stone sword in Lee Bufan’s hand, weighing over a hundred pounds, turned into a full one thousand pounds, and due to the sword’s cumbersome nature, it felt like two thousand pounds, very unwieldy.

”Hmm!”

Lee Bufan evidently grunted, but still stood firm on the spot, holding the stone sword, and began to practice chopping and hacking.

His gaze, challengingly looked at Ling Feng, as if asking: Hmph, what will you choose?

Ling Feng’s eyebrows raised as he stepped into the gravity zone, also without hesitation said, ”Ten times gravity!”

In an instant, a tremendous pressure, almost as if it would break every bone in his body, made Ling Feng hurry to open the First Chaos Lock; the pressure eased slightly but still made it almost impossible for him to stand.

This Lee Bufan had obviously done similar training before, but ten times gravity was probably a first for him.

Taking a deep breath, Ling Feng also grabbed the stone sword, squatted into a horse stance, and began to train according to the basic movements of chopping, slashing, stabbing, cutting, and picking of the Basic Swordsmanship, gritting his teeth all the while.

The surrounding students, one by one, were dumbfounded.

Even one times gravity seemed extremely challenging for them, but these two ”freaks” started with ten times gravity!

How stimulating is that?!

Leng Jianfeng, seeing the two secretly competing, had a smile curling the corners of his mouth and raised his hand to look at his left palm, where the scars had already scabbed over.

These were the wounds caused when Leng Jianfeng stopped Ling Feng and Lee Bufan from continuing to fight earlier, by grabbing their sword blades.

Lee Bufan’s right arm trembled a few times, while Ling Feng, broke through his Protective Gang Qi.

Leng Jianfeng secretly sighed in his heart, ”It looks like Ling Feng is the better one! This kid, he’s probably not just a Hidden Dragon Talent...”
