Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 430: Chapter 428:“ What do we have here?”

A/N: Alright fellas. Here we go. New volume. New agendas. Let the madness begin.

The starry skies of outer space were a place of ethereal beauty and equal terror.

With a silence that was deafening and an atmosphere of utter tranquility, it was peace at its finest, yet still the harbinger of carnage in its darkest.

Hummm...

within the outer regions of where Terra had once been positioned as part of the wider cosmology, a low hum traveled through the silence as a wormhole opened up and a fleet of ships slipped through.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

*Area scan complete. No anomalies detected. Region is void of any planetary life or structures.*

A cold mechanical voice echoed out as a beam of light belonging to one of the spacecrafts scanned the surrounding spatial area.

Within the control room of the ship,

”Sir! The scans have shown no anomalous behavior on the screen.” A blue-skinned individual in a high-tech spacesuit reported to the man standing at the front of the chamber.

He was tall, adorned in slick dark grey battle armor. A gun-like artifact holstered at his side, whilst his gauntleted hands were clasped firmly behind him.

”Hmmm...” A deep and sonorous hum filled the chamber as the man opened his eyes, a sharp gleam flashing past his ocean-blue eyes.

”The system is wrong,” his deep voice answered firmly.

”But sir...”

”I had felt the anomaly from as far out as we were. The region’s stability had been tampered with. Something vital had been removed from its location. So, rescan and don’t stop until you find out what,” the man ordered, his eyes closing back in meditation.

The operator could only sigh and go back to work.

Were it anyone else giving out such absurd orders, they would’ve filed a complaint to upper command, after all, this was an excursion issued out by the Conqueror, Durmont Varellis himself, and no one, not even his betrothed son-in-law, was above those orders. Any diversions would not have been tolerated.

But it was precisely because it was this man himself that they dared to accept the orders.

Maximoff Daurous. The conqueror’s betrothed son-in-law, and one well-versed in the laws of space. His understanding was so deep that he wasn’t even in need of the spacecraft he was on, being fully capable of traversing the dangerous reaches of space with little being capable of ever threatening him.

So, it was with the confidence they had in his abilities that they dared to divert their attention.

If he said something was amiss within this spatial region, then it must be the system and the machines that were wrong.

So, shaking his head, the operator gave out various instructions as the entire crew began recalibrating the systems, getting ready for another scan.

....

....

”So let me get this straight,” Melissa leveled both me and Liz an unimpressed look, ”you guys were out there fucking in the wild like a bunch of animals for three days?” Her look was absolutely judging.

”Not three days. It’s only three days because Terra was complaining about fucking up her time rules if I froze the world for longer than I should.” I shrugged.

”Wait! You froze the world’s time!?”

”Yup.” I grinned, delivering a loud smack to Liz’s ass as she tried to shrink away from the girls, especially Aunt V, who was releasing a very terrible aura at the moment.

”Ahhh!!! Dante!!” Liz yelled, jumping out from her hiding spot.

”Sorry, force of habit.” I waved away her glare.

”What force of habit? What did you do to the poor girl? Look at her, she can’t even stand straight. And why above all else did you not invite me?” Trust Clarissa to bring the conversation to another completely different point.

”Yes! I’m wondering the same. Fufufufu... I would’ve loved to see Instructor~~ Elizabeth get absolutely owned.” Kaila had decided to get involved as well, purposefully dragging out the title of instructor as Liz’s face burned bright red.

And of course, the trio of shamelessness wouldn’t be complete without,

”Honestly, I’m just angry I wasn’t invited because I couldn’t experience what it was like being boned to the core while the night air freezes my cunt, I’m sure the friction between pounding heat and freezing cold would’ve been absolutely blissful...” Cara being Cara, as her expression became absolutely intoxicated.

Kyaaaa!!!

She squealed softly as I appeared behind her, pulling her body flush against mine, ”Don’t worry, there’ll be a lot of chances to come,” my eyes traced through all of them, the intensity in them clear, ”for all of you,” I emphasized as I paused on Aunt V, watching those crazy, swirling black orbs finally settle.

”Heh!” I laughed, releasing Cara as I stood back up.

”Alright people, we’ve wasted enough time, I think it’s time we get moving.”

”Finally...” Malachi.

”I thought I was going to be forced to watch this reunion for an entire lifetime,” Paku added, making a gagging gesture.

”You guys do realize that we’ll be staying within the same enclosed environment as these horny creatures during our journey, right?” Leo decided to, like his Prince of Despair title, throw a wrench into their plans.

”Ughh...” Malachi.

”Don’t remind me...” Paku.

”So long as I get to experience these ridiculous law concentrations, I couldn’t care less.” Salazar’s eccentric voice echoed through their despair.

”Fools.” A low and gravelly voice interrupted the grieving trio, catching their attention as they turned their heads.

”To witness Master’s eternal glory in his delegation of love and affection should be the eternal solace of you mortals. Learn from his greatness. Emulate his greatness. And maybe someday, you shall have a grand following of goddesses willing to throw themselves at you without you being pitiful swine.” Damn. Shulvan wasn’t pulling any punches. ”Of course, whatever plebeians you attract will always fall short of the goddesses surrounding my master, so be grateful.”

”Wooow~~~” Cara.

”Damn... ouch.” Kaila.

”Oof... that one must’ve hit a spot.” Clarissa.

”Dante, I think I’m starting to like your butler,” Melissa voiced out in amusement as she patted the now butler-attired Shulvan on the shoulder.

”Others have apostles that strike fear into the hearts of their master’s creations, but here’s yours, bootlicking and ass-kissing to the heavens. Tsk. Tsk.” Shaia.

”What do you expect? The man is so egotistical he had to create another being to fan his narcissistic personality even harder.” Sana.

”You girls can say whatever you want, but the man didn’t say one single word of a lie. Or do you admit that there are women out there superior to you?” I teased, already aware of the answers, and sure enough,

”Teehee... oh please. I was there before beauty was even a thing, so don’t even start.” Shaia.

”The concept of being superior to me is not a thing that exists within the wider cosmos, humph!” Sana.

”Ehh? Sana, you too? But we’re only talking about MY women. Are you perhaps insinuating something!?”

”I swear I’ll gut you like a dead fish.”

”Is that before, during, or after you confess your love for me, sweetheart?”

”DANTEEEEE!!!!”

I tuned the angry tower spirit out.

My attention returned to the group.

Malachi, Salazar, Paku, and Leo were already looking at Shulvan like he was dead meat. Can’t say I blame them.

”Heh!” I laughed, turning to the other two men that had remained quiet all this while.

”Old man, Old Man Tian, are you guys ready?”

”AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Little Dante, you’re asking the obvious. These old bones of mine are ready to experience the wider universe, just make the move.”

”Humph! After all these years of pretending, you finally admit you’re an old man.” Trust Dakota never to miss a chance at taking a jab at the old dragon.

”Ack!! Dakota!!!”

Valen just nodded his head, his expression as stoic as ever.

”Biiiig Broooother!!!!” A purple comet launched itself straight at me as I caught it in an open embrace.

”Hehehehehehe...” The cute, giggling voice of Lucien sounded out.

”Are we finally going out? Is Lucien finally going to see the stars up close?” His big, bright purple eyes lit up as he looked at me.

I smiled, placing him atop my head as his body shrunk down to size, ”Of course, little man. Big brother is definitely taking you to see the stars.”

”Hehehehehehe... alright! Lucien trusts big brother. Now let’s goooo!!!!”

”Ahahahaha! Alright! Let’s go!”

Saying so, I willed it and then,

WAP!

My body vanished from the spot, appearing within the cold, silent darkness of empty space.

The feeling of suffocation I was expecting never came. I knew I had changed, but still, it was my first time in space. My experiences before my reincarnation didn’t count.

I opened my hand, a miniature version of the Ascension Tower appearing within my palm.

What? You thought the tower was just a cosmic prison? What were you expecting? Some random xianxia young master bullshit scenario of me traversing space alone in search of the Dao?

Where would that leave the warm embrace of my women’s voluptuous bodies? Yeah, fuck that idea.

The tower was also a spatial artifact, one that can function perfectly well as a spacecraft. And with the ridiculous amount of space inside and the ability to adjust the size and attachments even further, I was about to have a very comfortable space ride.

I threw the tower out as it rapidly expanded to a 30-meter-tall pitch-black structure that disappeared into the background.

I smiled, yet before I could make another move,

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

*Deep space anomaly detected! Beginning scan...*

*Scan complete.*

*Life form detected! Spatial containment artifacts detected. Awaiting further instructions.*

....

....

”Hmmm?” Feeling the bright light wash over me and hearing the robotic sounds from behind me, I turned slowly, my eyes coming into contact with a fleet of futuristic-looking spaceships that didn’t seem to have come for just conversation.

”Well now, what do we have here?”
