Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 425: Chapter 423:Time for a date.

The place regained its silence as Sana leveled me an unflinching stare.

”Truly, what an insufferable man you are, Dante,” she finally broke the silence.

”What can I say? I try my best.” I shrugged with a smile.

Standing up, she twirled, not a move to show off her ridiculous proportions, but one to check herself better.

”I’m... fine. No. I’m better than fine.” Her shock couldn’t even be hidden.

”I already told you, those who belong to me are never disadvantaged.”

”And what exactly does belonging to you mean, Dante?”

”Whatever you want it to mean, my dear.” I smiled, a disarming expression appearing on my face.

”Haaa... and you believe your illusions of a choice would deceive me?” Sana sighed.

”Hey, I didn’t lie. You do have a choice.”

”And who would want to pick otherwise after all... this?”

”Well, that’s for anyone to guess, my dear.”

”Haa... somehow, I feel like I’ve used up more energy than ever despite having been restored.” She shook her head wryly as she finally closed the distance between us.

”I’ve been hurt once before, Dante. My own creator thought it best to discard me to preserve some hypocritical peace between the pillars. After everything I did. After everything I gave.”

Silence was the best reply I could give to her at this point.

”And now, here you are. Offering me a place. Offering me my vengeance. Using whatever means you have to make it so that I accept your offer. But I’m afraid. I do not wish to be hurt once more. So tell me truly, I don’t need oaths. I don’t need contracts. Just look me in the eyes and tell me, on your honor, can I trust you?”

”Can I trust you with my being? Can I trust you with my all? Can I trust you with... me?”

I looked into her eyes. They were dead serious. Not an ounce of jest could be found in them.

I knew right then and there that she was at the precipice. She was willing, truly, to give her all to me. And all she needed was something I’d already made clear times without number.

”You can.” That was all I said. That was all that she seemed to need, as...

Humph!!!

She pulled me into a kiss. My eyes widened for the first time ever as, in a reversal of situations, I was the one taken off guard this time.

I wasn’t even given the time to enjoy the soft lips being pressed on mine, or the soft mountains deforming themselves on my chest, when I felt it.

A stream of energy pooling within me. It churned, swirled, then condensed into...

My eyes widened even further when I realized what I’d just received....

[DING!]

[Bonding complete.]

[Partner- Sana]

The system’s notifications confirmed it.

”You...” For the first time in a long time, I was actually rendered speechless.

”You said I could trust you with me. And now, I have.” A small smile had appeared on Sana’s face as she said those words, and then...

RUUUUMMMBLEEEEEE!!!!!

The entire place began trembling violently. All the trial takers within the tower were forcefully ejected as my companions were swiftly teleported into the room me and Sana had been occupying.

My eyes hadn’t left the smiling face before me.

”Heh! Seems someone finally managed to shut you up. I’m glad it was me.” She huffed, proud of herself.

I could only shake my head helplessly at her antics.

Why was I so shocked? Well, like the system had just said, I’d acquired another bond.

But this wasn’t merely another bond, no, like she said herself, she had given me her everything. And by that I mean, EVERYTHING!

If, by some weird and convoluted process, I somehow perished, she would too. She had basically tied herself to my eternal existence forever.

”Humph! I go away for a few days and you’re already allowing other women to occupy your soul space. Master truly is fickle beyond belief.” I wasn’t even done registering the events that had just unfolded before another voice rasped in my head.

I froze. That voice. That tone. I knew it too well.

”Elira?”

”Humph! Just you wait, Master. Once I’m done with my transformation, you’ll explain why you’ve been allowing other women to take up space in a place that was supposed to house only me. Humph! Humph!” With a few short snorts, her presence went silent again.

I didn’t even know if I should laugh or cry.

Suddenly, my soul was now a land space being shared by multiple women.

”Teehee. And you say you’re not some woman collector?”

”Shaia... please..”

”Worry not, my love. With how you behave, I’m sure there’s plenty more ahead. Yay!! More sisters! More backup against you, tehehehehe...”

I could only ignore the trolling Shaia as I finally focused on the people that had appeared within the control room.

”Hey, girls,” I called out.

”Sure! Greet the women first like we aren’t here,” Malachi hissed.

”Give it up, monkey. That bastard’s head goes blank the moment he spots big breasts and ass.” Paku.

”At least he’s not pretending to care about us when he doesn’t really care. We know exactly where we stand in the bastard’s world.” Salazar.

”Yawwwn.... I need to sleep.” Leo.

I ignored the moaning and bitching men. Giving Old Man Valen and Tian an offhanded wave, I focused back on the girls that were giving me the stink eye.

Even Aunt V, my lovely Aunt V, was giving me the stink eye.

”Look, guys, I finally got the tower on our side.” I smiled, trying to play off their looks, but...

”Haaa...” Aunt V suddenly sighed, her head shaking in wry exhaustion. ”Of course it’s another woman. What was I expecting? That the tower be a potbellied, short, and ugly man whose entire demeanor is a carbon copy of Valen’s?” Her voice was quite judgy.

”Hey, Aunt V, what are you talking about? Why are you looking at me like that?”

”Why won’t she look at you like that? Dante, tell me, do you have some bad habit of picking up women at every turn?” Melissa.

”Huh? What are you talking about?”

”She’s talking about the fact that this is the third woman you’ve shown us since waking up, and it hasn’t even been more than a few days since you did.” Khalifa.

”Well, it’s not my fault. I mean, Shaia just woke up with me. Terra’s case was a bit special. And Sana, well...”

”I just stole my first kiss and gave him my EVERYTHING. He essentially just became my eternal soul partner, no biggie.”

Damn this woman!!! Why was she making things worse??

”Ahh... is that it?” I could see Aunt V’s eyes take on that dark, swirling look once again. Not just her, Dakota was currently leaking copious amounts of killing intent as well, because apparently, ”Kiss... she stole a kiss. But I haven’t ... damn it! Damn it all...”

I turned to the other girls. Kaila, Khalifa, Melissa, Cara, Mira, none bothered to intervene.

Even Clarissa, sweet, lovely Clarissa, had crossed her arms.

”You guys...” I could only stare in heartbreak at the betrayal, yet before things could escalate—

”Umm... Dante?” A quiet tug on my shirt pulled my attention to my side, my eyes locking with the pure white pupils of Liz.

”Liz!! Yes, my sweet Liz. What is it?” I could only cling to the lifeline like a madman.

”Uhhh... you promised me a date, remember?”

”Ehh?”

”You said, when you left the Abyss, you’d take me on that dinner date you’ve been putting off. I was wondering if now would be a good time to ask for it.” The way her face turned beet red after those words was too adorable to decline, not that I was ever going to decline a beauty like her.

”Ohhh??? Are we cashing in checks that Dante owes us? Because he’s been owing me something Big, Long, Thick, and VERY Hard for the longest time now,” Clarissa butted in unceremoniously, licking her lips as she continued. ”I wonder if I can receive my own dues after cute Elizabeth here.”

And just like that...

”Aunt Clarissa...” Mira.

”Aunt C, you...” Melissa.

”Fufufufu... I’m liking this older sister more and more.” Kaila.

”I’ll have to agree with you on that one.” Cara.

The tension in the air was instantly shattered.

”This... bitch...” both Raven and Dakota promptly switched their targets.

”Eyy? What? Oh, you ladies don’t need to be jealous. I’ll let you guys have your turn with him after we’re done, or rather, after he makes sure I can’t walk straight for days, kyaaa~~~.”

”Please hurt her...” Mira pleaded to both Dakota and Aunt V, but she didn’t need to, as—

”That’s it! Bitch! Outside! Now!” Both women had already grabbed the woman, pulling her outside, yet still...

”Fufufufu... ladies, don’t rough me up, alright? I need energy for when Dante goes rough later. You guys don’t know what an animal he can be, brrrr....” The woman didn’t seem to be capable of keeping quiet to save her life.

”Alright. I guess you can count me in,” Mira decided to join in on the beating to be delivered.

”Make that plus one.” Khalifa joined as well.

”Make that plus three... Hope, let’s go.” Melissa dragged the demoness along.

”Eyy! But... but.. why am I getting involved?”

”Shut up and just come along.”

”Pooh...”

Kaila and Cara, the two crazy women, shared a look, shrugged, and then, ”WAIT FOR US!!!” chased after the others.

I watched them go, a warm feeling spreading through my chest at their antics.

My attention returned to the still cute-and-confused-looking Liz.

”Heh! Well, I guess I can put off my exit for a few more hours.”

After all, the LifeTree wasn’t running away. Might as well take this time off and relax with a beautiful woman.

”Alright, Liz. Me and you. It’s a date.”

This was sure to be fun...
