Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 409: Chapter 407:“She wishes to meet you.”

”What are you talking about?” I had to ask. Shaia was going on about weird shit again.

”Teehee... worry not, my love. All will be explained once you’re done with what you currently have on hand.”

I shook my head softly as I returned my attention to the girls.

”You were talking with someone?” Aunt V asked.

”Huh? How did you—”

”You have that expression you always make when someone is annoying you but you can’t say anything because, well, you can’t,” she analyzed plainly.

”What? I have no such thing,” I protested.

”Umm... yeah, you do.” Melissa.

”It’s the face you always wear when Kaila does her shenanigans,” Khalifa pointed at her sister shamelessly.

”Hey!!!”

”Why are you yelling? You know she’s right,” Mira replied.

”What? Mira, you too? Since when did you start supporting that bitch Khalifa?”

”I’m not supporting anybody, I’m just stating facts.”

”Facts, my fat ass.”

”Fufufufufu... now, now, kids. I think we all know who has the fattest ass amongst us.”

Trust Clarissa to not care about the content of the conversation and get herself involved.

”Haa... Aunt Clarissa, please...” Mira sighed.

”Fufufufufu... my lovely niece, don’t worry, when you grow up, I’m sure you’ll try to compete,” she laughed.

”So you admit you’re an old cougar lusting after young people?” Dakota’s words immediately flatlined Clarissa’s pompous expression.

”Bitch... what did you just call me?” Clarissa, sweet cheerful Clarissa, actually growled in anger.

”I called you an old bitch. What? Want to deny it? Care to tell us how old you are?” Dakota doubled down.

”You know what? Why bother? It’s not like you’re any younger. After all, if it wasn’t for your vampire constitution, you’d have flaky skin by now...”

BOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!

The roof of the room exploded at once.

”Bitch!!!!!” Dakota’s aura flared a brilliant crimson as she shot Clarissa a death glare.

”Umm... should we maybe inter... AHHH!!!!” Cara screamed out in surprise as I wrapped my arms around her lithe waist, pulling her close.

”He... hey... Dante... what’s wrong?” She asked, as the others also turned.

”It’s nothing,” I answered, a small smile on my face.

Looking at the women around me. At their interaction.

It was just madness and violence and chaos, but I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

”It’s nothing at all,you guys don’t mind me.” I pulled Cara in closer as I lay down with her in my embrace, eyes closing.

After all I’d been through just now, I needed a breather.

I will get into the heavy stuff later. Like what Shaia meant by her words earlier...

....

The next day.

”Ahh... how I missed this.” I sighed in satisfaction, rubbing a very satisfied and bloated stomach.

”Heh! Look at you, you’re getting fat.”

”I am not!”

”Teehee... fatty Dante. That’s who you are, my fatty Dante...”

”Ugh...” I could only groan and give up.

”Still talking to that mysterious woman that doesn’t want to show us her face?” Aunt V’s grating voice came from right beside me.

”Heh! She seems annoyed,” Shaia chuckled.

”Hahahaha... Aunt V, are you jealous?”

”Jealous? Me? You’re thinking too highly of yourself, I’m merely worried about some foreign entity playing tricks,” she huffed.

”Hey!!! Hey!!!!” Ignoring the woman’s protest, I pulled her in, placing her on my lap as I addressed the room.

”Everyone, just bear with me a few days. Let me get myself sorted out and I promise I’ll explain everything. I just need to understand what’s happening myself before anything else.”

”We trust you, Dante. We’re just curious who the new girl is. That’s why Mother is grumpy. She’s still annoyed that Aunt C is here,” Melissa giggled.

”Fufufufu... don’t worry, Raven. I haven’t devoured Dante yet. But I’m sure I will soon enough, or rather, he will devour me... kyaaaa...”

”That’s it!!!” Both Dakota and Raven immediately jumped the woman as they dragged her outside, the sounds of explosions shaking the mansion soon after.

”Will they ever get along?” Liz asked, curious.

”Who knows?” Melissa shrugged.

I couldn’t help looking at Liz a bit more. Her relationship with the church, I needed to look into that as well. There was something wrong.

I was just now realizing that the things I had to get done weren’t so little. And that involved fully purging all Terra from the filth that stained it.

My eyes flashed as I thought of all the extraterrestrial young masters and misses tainting my world.

”I guess it’s time for a deep cleansing indeed.” Yet before the thought could settle,

Creak...

The doors of the mansion opened and in stepped the figures of Malachi, Salazar, Leo, Paku, Tian, and the old man.

Behind them, the conspicuous figure of a man in a star-studded robe trailed in silence.

”Oii, if it isn’t Sleeping Beauty. Finally decided to kick Limbo’s ass, didn’t ya?” The monkey laughed boisterously.

”Gotta say, I thought something finally succeeded in curbing this prick’s arrogance, but it seems even death could only be laughed at,” Leo sighed wryly.

”You fuckers!!!” What was this? Is this how to greet someone waking up from a month-old coma?

”You guys shouldn’t make fun of Dante, he’s just waking up,” Salazar chastised. Finally, someone sensi— ”You can wait till he stops getting babysat by a bunch of women.”

”Pfft... hahahahahahahahha.” The four, Paku, Leo, Salazar, and Malachi, all burst into hearty laughter.

”Ahem...” until a not-so-subtle cough snapped them shut.

”Who are you guys referring to as a bunch of women?” Aunt Raven’s cold voice sent a chill through the room.

The woman hadn’t even moved from being given a lap seat, yet she still managed to make that look terrifying.

”Pfft... ahahahahahaha...” I laughed, wrapping my arms around her waist tighter as I leveled a scornful look at the fools. ”What? Cat got your tongue? Why aren’t you guys laughing? Come on, laugh. Hahahahaha...” I shouldn’t be petty? Bitch, please, pettiness is the name of the game.

So, ignoring the seething group, I turned toward the one attention-grabbing being, eyebrows raised, ”Now, what the hell exactly happened to you? Eyy, Shulvan?”

”My master,”

Plop!

The sound of knees hitting the ground echoed out powerfully as Shulvan knelt, then replied, ”I know not what you speak of, master.”

”What do you mean you know not what I speak of? Look at you.” This guy was about to get on my nerves.

The last time I saw him he was barely taller than me, with his hood that gave him an edgy look. But now?

With a frame that probably stood a full head taller than me and a constantly burning essence of entropy around him, he looked like the physical manifestation of the law itself. And what’s worse? I could feel some of my own powers within him.

”My master, this is merely an effect of your glorious awakening, for now, I am finally whole.”

”... Okay?” Well, that’s another thing to look at, I guess.

Now then, for the elephant in the room.

”Old man, are you going to introduce the older man or should I keep acting like I don’t see him?”

Silence fell before the old man replied, ”One would think near death would’ve tempered that tongue of yours, but I guess it was all wishful thinking.”

”Hah!! Even if I did die, I’d still stick it to you from the afterlife. So, you better get used to it.”

”Haaa... forget it. Let’s just get this over with.” Letting out a long breath, he stepped aside as he introduced the man behind him. I already had a sneaking suspicion, and his words just confirmed it.

”Dante, this is the Dean of the Academy,” he introduced. ”Dean, meet Dante. I believe this will be the first time you guys meet officially.” The old man stepped back after that.

I placed Aunt V down, standing up to greet the man, but his first words spun me.

”Dante Draven, young lad, it’s this old man’s pleasure to finally meet you face to face.” He extended his hand.

”Likewise, older man,” I replied, shaking it.

”Hahaha... I see why Valen likes you now. Truly, I would love to extend our conversation, but she’s getting anxious, I don’t think she can wait any longer.”

”Huh? Who are you talking about?”

”I’m talking about Terra. She wishes to see you.”

”Huh?”
