Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 131: Chapter 130:Apollo Calder...

Remember when I said I couldn’t get excited over anything going on in this enrollment ceremony?

Well I believe I can boldly say I was just bullshitting myself because...

BOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!

Tell me why the hell it felt like I was watching two natural disasters collide and they were meant to be within the same ranking range as the candidates I’d encountered within the trials in the eastern domain? Hell even if they were a rank or two higher, it didn’t explain.....THIS....

BOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!

The entire platform shook violently as the two forces of nature collided once more..

The celestial, that sanctimonious fellow? Yea, forget the posturing, he was indeed all that..

This guy was fast.. and when I say fast, I mean FAST!!!

I had always been more than confident in my raw speed, yet it felt like my own perception was lagging trying to track this guy’s movements..

The light that had surrounded his four wings weren’t for show, they had boosted his speed to ungodly levels, he was a literal phantom of light, wherever one looked, he was there, faster than the eye could track, I could see many older outer court students straining their eyes to see just what the hell was happening..

Yea, you can also forget the fact that this mf was wielding a spear of light, that was nothing more than a decoy, because his wings were the true menace, they sliced apart the air as if they didn’t know what friction or resistance meant, more than once they’d taken a not so pretty bite out of the filthy demon’s body...

And speaking of the demon, even against my bitter judgment, I had to admit it, this thing was strong..

Not strong in a physical sense, no, this guy was powerful in the sense of his bizarre abilities...

Every bite taken from his body merely dissolves into a puddle of nasty smelling blood that rejoined his body, returning it to a state as good as new..

”Blood demon arts: Blood Frenzy”....

And right on cue, the filthy creature had used one of those bizarre abilities..

His body glowed a filthy crimson red, a nasty stench filtering into the air, I could hear the audible bubbling and churning of blood as the creature grew to a horrifying 9ft tall, its horns elongated, turning into liquid-like tendrils that swirled around its head almost aimlessly, its eyes starting to drip literal blood..

The celestial seemed unaffected by the turn of events as he dived straight in for another clash, their attacks colliding in another deafening explosion...

Yet, the moment the clash occurred, the light of the celestial started turning a dark reddish hue..

”Kekekeke... URIAAHHHHHH!!!!!!”

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!

Splash!!!!!!

Following the sound of the air being ripped apart, a splash of crimson-gold sprayed forth violently, one of the celestial’s arms having been unceremoniously separated from his body, his form being sent flying in a shower of red-gold blood..

”Urgh!!!” The young winged fellow coughed blood like it cost nothing..

”Filthy demonic arts..” his blood made his words come out garbled and choked..

”Kekekekeke... how does it feel, having your own blood turning against you?” The demon laughed, a nasty sound that sent my senses tingling, this guy had been one of the ones I’d attacked alongside the Asura demon, seeing how powerful it really was, I had to reassess just how powerful the demon I’d been throwing around earlier really was, or if that was his true strength, because according to my senses, they should’ve been on the same level of strength, yet this guy felt far beyond what the Asura could’ve ever been...

”Don’t get too full of yourself just yet, kerieth, you’ve yet to best me, you shan’t start now” the celestial finally got up, his wings taking him to the skies as his body began glowing brightly, a bit too brightly..

”PURIFYING SERAPH’S LIGHT”...

Following his voice that echoed like it came from the heavens themselves, the light surrounding him flashed brilliantly, the moment it faded, the celestial was back, whole and fully healed..

Not only was he fully healed, his form had changed as well, he was now adorned in a full set of golden armor, a golden helm with wings at the sides covering his entire head, a gigantic golden lance with a spiraling tip that swirled like a condensed sun rested in the grasp of his hands..

His aura spiked so much I could feel the atmosphere around him whining and groaning, almost as if it were being forced to contain something it wasn’t capable of containing..

My eyes shone brilliantly...

This was it, this was the level that aunt v and Leo had been talking about..

I’d said earlier that I had the confidence to defeat any of the elites and seeing one in action, that belief hadn’t wavered, not one bit, instead my battle intent was stoked because I knew, my senses were telling me clearly, it wasn’t going to be as easy as all the others were..

So, when they moved, the celestial and the demon, when they collided in their new forms, I was already ready to jump right in..

BOOM....BOO...BOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!

The shockwave didn’t hit at once, because their collision wasn’t only once, they’d collided more than a hundred times within the instant it’d take a normal person to blink..

Yes, they were that fast..

My grin widened...

Somehow, someway, I’d already left my hold on Cara, my full attention on the ongoing clash of titans...

”Demon Blood arts: Blood explosion”...

”Seraph Light arts: Light of judgement”....

The two attacks collided in a blinding radiance..

The platform being dyed in two different colors, on one side there was a blinding gold, on the other, a bleeding crimson..

The sight was utterly majestic...

Then came the inevitable explosion...

BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!

The barrier that had been erected around the two suffered multiple cracks instantly, a little bit of the aura within the enclosed space finally bleeding out in full intensity and I had to say...

”WOAH!!” It was heavy, it hit like a gut punch, but far from making me uncomfortable, it merely made me all the more excited..

”Fufufu... looks like someone is finally getting into the spirit of the ceremony” Cara’s teasing voice sounded from right beside me, I couldn’t have been bothered to pay her any attention, not when I was trying to force my body from jumping into the fighting currently ongoing..

”Seems like I’ll really get to go all out today... hahahahaha” I couldn’t help the excited thought that came to me..

This, indeed, was exactly the type of stage worthy of someone of my prowess..

”Well, if it isn’t the ungrateful little whore” all my excitement vanished at the sound of that voice, my mind going blank as I hoped desperately that the words weren’t being directed to who I thought they were..

A hand grabbed mine, giving it a tender squeeze, confirming my suspicions...

”Fufufufu... if it isn’t his highness himself, Apollo Calder, oh to what do I owe the displeasure of seeing your face?” Cara’s teasing voice just undid the lid on my murderous coffin as I turned in a robotic manner, my mind unraveling faster than I could stop it..

Someone had called MY CARA a WHORE...

Someone was going to die..

And they were going to die very badly...

So, it was with those murderous thoughts that I turned fully, finally having the displeasure of setting sights on a walking corpse...

”Seems you made my man a bit upset, I wonder what you’re going to do now... fufufufu”.....

**************

A/N: somehow, these guys never learn, though I guess if he could be placed on the same category as the two currently wrecking havoc, he might not be such an easy prey..
