Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 105: Chapter 104:Seize Him!!

Screeeeeeech!!!!

The screeching of a phoenix resounded for kilometers as a torrent of crimson gold flames rained down in a blazing deluge from the massive silhouette in the sky, its intent being to turn me into smoldering ruin..

Sovereign Spyre had other thoughts on that, the ability proving insanely effective as until now, not a single flame attack had been able to fully counter and resist my control...

The raining flames slowed significantly, my body vanishing from the spot, appearing behind the figure hidden within the bird, a devastating blow rocketed outward as my fist tore through the phoenix, colliding with a soft crunching sound..

”Ughhhh!!”..

The figure of blaze went crashing through the skies, blood spurting like a dam from his mouth..

”Damn it...” his once imperial expression had twisted into pure frustration..

”Just what the hell are you?” His angry voice was directed at me...

”Don’t tell me that’s all that transformation is worth? You’ve barely lasted 10 minutes”..

Somehow, it felt like this guy got weaker after his transformation, but that wasn’t the truth..

Solar scale pressure- Stage IV: Overflare state(threshold)

Yes, I’d already reached the peak of the scaling ladder..

Yes, they themselves had already reached such a peak too, but my general stats were downright inhuman, pairing that with Overflare State was already overkill..

Plus the fact that their bodies seemed on the verge of a burnout, unable to keep up with the intense energy requirements, made the battle start losing its enticement...

”Roooooarrrrrrrrr!!!!”

The deafening roar of a golden lion reached my ears as massive paws swatted down from the skies like judgement..

I merely shifted my stance, cocked my fist back, and then..

BOOM!!!!

A shockwave blasted out of my fist going on to rip apart the golden silhouette of the massive lion above me, the figure of the loud blonde, who’s name I couldn’t be bothered to remember plummeting sharply...

He’d joined the battle at some point, activating what I could only guess was his talent..

The figure of a golden lion manifesting above him and just like blaze before him, his body underwent a rapid transformation..

Obviously, it did little to no help, they’d still been walloped helplessly...

”Sigh....it seems truly, that this is your limit...”

I sighed, disappointed at the fact that I’d have to end such an exciting battle..

Clearly, despite using the same bloodline abilities, our base attributes had played a huge role, after all, the bloodline focused on enhancing what was already there..

And I didn’t just have one of these, my new talent also did the same, so it was no surprise that after such a drawn out battle, my overall prowess had already far surpassed what they could dream of handling...

The boredom settled in immediately, it was good to be strong, but then being so strong it eclipsed your peers made it difficult to find exciting challenges anywhere..

”It’s a good thing Aeternum is coming up soon, I get to challenge true monsters in human flesh” the thought sparked my already dying excitement..

”Alright then.. for giving me such an entertaining experience, I shall grant you the honor of defeat at the hands of one of my most potent abilities” I said with false sportsmanship...

That seemed to rile them up even more, as they pushed themselves even harder, blood streaming violently from their orifices, the strain of Solar Scale Pressure being so intense that even with rejuvenating phoenix flames, blaze was still teetering..

I shook my head softly..

Taking off the restraint on my the talent settled in with a quiet hum..

My being feeling complete..

I drew back my fist and then...

Rrruuuummmbllleeeeeeee!!!!!

The entire secret realm trembled violently...

”What is happening!!!!!!”

”The realm is shaking....”

I focused, willing the entirety of the realm’s atmospheric weight around my fist..

Yes, I was using my old faithful..

It was heavy, heavier than anything I’d ever held before, in fact, it was so heavy that I didn’t dare charge up for more than two seconds, anymore and I’d risked losing my entire arm for nothing, the abysmal rate of energy consumption making it clear that anymore and I might not even have enough energy for Chaotic Denial to patch me up..

”Hooo... it is your greatest honor to be defeated by this move” I threw blaze’s arrogant young master statement right back at him...

Their faces had gone pale, they felt stuck, the atmosphere having frozen them solid in position, the couldn’t dodge even if they wanted..

I didn’t dawdle any longer, releasing what could be considered my most powerful punch till date...

BOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!

The entire secret realm rumbled violently as the devastating punch landed, the figures of blaze and what’s-his-name being teleported away before the attack even reached them....

Slowly, the trembling realm stabilized, yet the devastation remained..

My token was buzzing nonstop, kills registering contiuosly, both from monsters and candidates that suffered collateral damage..

”Hooo... that was intense” I breathed out softly, over half of my current reserves had been used just to take control of the realm’s atmosphere for a measly two seconds...

But the results were satisfactory. Was it an overkill move? Definitely. Did I care? Absolutely not..

As I stood admiring my handiwork, a pair of slender arms wrapped around my topless figure, an impossibly softly body pressing gently against my back..

”That...was sooo.. hot..” Cara’s intoxicated voice reached my ears, a shiver traveling up my spine..

I turned, my eyes finding her flushed face staring straight at me with darkened eyes..

I recognized that look anywhere..

And so, I used one of my talents that had been sitting idle all this while..

activating swiftly as a massive construct rose up from the ruined earth, mine and Cara’s figure vanishing inside swiftly...

See? Who said weaker talents weren’t useful?..

An icy domain surrounded the structure instantly, backed by a glowing circle of expanding dark-gold flames..

I had more time than I knew what to do with in this test and I wasn’t about to waste it.

So, for the next duration of the entire test, me and Cara remained locked within the earthen construct, only separating when we felt the construct tremble, a feelin akin to passing through a water curtain confirming that we’d been teleported out...

*******

Once the light flashed, and the candidates were teleported out, everyone’s gaze within the hall immediately trained towards the massive earthen construct that had appeared along with the others..

It didn’t take long before a figure appeared from the gates, a topless young man, 7ft5 with a build that would put gods to shame, his intense golden eyes surveyed the room, a bored expression on his face.

Right behind him, a stunningly beautiful young woman appeared, her enchanting face still bearing traces of a flushed expression, a content smile visible on her face..

******

The moment me and Cara appeared together, I immediately sensed a violent killing intent locked on to us, I traced the source, my vision landing on a figure clad in imperial sun robes, his golden hair glowing with a soft luster even within the dim hall, his indifferent eyes locked onto me immediately..

Before I could process it, more killing intent erupted, my eyes finally taking in the room in full capacity, people that weren’t here before had suddenly appeared, with figures emanating such a dense aura the atmosphere twisted around them.

Their gazes, simultaneously locked unto me and I could tell right then and there that things had certainly taken a very awful route...

At that moment only one thought seemed to surface through my mind,

”Ahhh....I really...really hate this damned author”...

(A/N:keep talking...)
