Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

As Wei’en spoke, he took out a piece of parchment and quickly wrote down the tools and various metal materials needed to create Mechanical Puppets.

”I will work hard, Father!”

Zero clenched his fist in excitement. He knew that once he mastered how to build the Iron Heart Fury and furthered his studies in mechanics, he could attempt to modify his own body.

By then, he would be much more powerful.

Before long, Wei’en acquired the tools, materials, and a copy of the Junior Wizard’s Manual.

Immediately after, he set up two more workshops of the same size next to the first one, installing and calibrating all the equipment.

”Alright,”

Wei’en surveyed the well-organized workshop, with its various tools, including a drill press, and the adjacent mountain of metal materials. He instructed, ”First, master the blueprints and the runes. Only then should you attempt to build anything. Understand?”

Zero made a fist and struck the thick armor on his chest. His gear-eyes spun rapidly as he shouted with a hint of excitement, ”Father, I’ll remember.”

Shawa said, ”Noted.”

”Mm.”

Wei’en nodded, then turned and left, leaving the two to study the craft of building Mechanical Puppets together.

’I hope they can actually learn it...’

After trying to teach them for the past few days, Wei’en had to admit he wasn’t a very good teacher.

It wasn’t for a lack of knowledge. Rather, he simply couldn’t translate what he knew into terms Shawa and Zero could understand.

For instance, while teaching them the Gonzalez language, Zero had asked, ”Father, why does Rexi mean death?”

A question like that truly stumped Wei’en. Even with his expert-level proficiency in the Gonzalez language, he couldn’t come up with an answer.

’He couldn’t very well tell him it was because the language’s creator, the Ancient God Gonzalez, had just made it up on a whim, could he?’

With that thought, Wei’en returned to his workshop, took out the Junior Wizard’s Manual, and began to slowly look through it.

Hm?

”Upon advancing from an apprentice to an Official Mage, one reaches the Junior Mage level.”

”According to the ranking system of the Extraordinary World, the basic attributes of a Junior Mage are equivalent to a Minister-Level Extraordinary. An Advanced Mage corresponds to a Director-Level Extraordinary.”

”As for even higher tiers, such as the Great Mage level, they are equivalent to the ranks from Governor to Hand of the Kingdom...”

’So, the ranks in the Extraordinary World are Ordinary, Captain, Minister, Director, Governor, and Hand of the Kingdom, which correspond to the wizarding ranks of Apprentice, Mage, and Great Mage?’

Reading this gave Wei’en a much clearer understanding of the Extraordinary World.

Previously, he had always gauged the strength of Extraordinaries based on the survival points awarded by the system panel.

”For Junior Mages, in addition to Spiritual Power and physical constitution, there are also high requirements for knowledge accumulation, skill mastery, and Origin Power.”

”Of course, the standard for measuring combat power between Extraordinaries of the same level is also based on these same factors.”

”This requires that after advancing to Junior Mage, one must study the knowledge corresponding to their own school of magic. When necessary, one must also conduct rigorous experiments to adjust the theoretical framework of their mastered skills...”

”For a Junior Mage of our Ghost Soul School to advance to Intermediate Mage, three conditions must be met.”

”First, all Origin sub-bodies must be imprinted with five Magic Runes, and all learned Magic must be upgraded to level two.”

”Second, your Spirit Level must reach 2,000.”

”Third, your Origin must reach 100...”

Looking at the three requirements for advancement, Wei’en raised an eyebrow. He then looked up at the ghosts and other sub-bodies floating in mid-air.

’All I need to do is imprint five spells on each sub-body and upgrade them to level two, and I can advance to Intermediate Mage?’

’It’s that simple...’

PS: I still owe 7 bonus Chapters. That’s not too many, right?
