Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

”Yeah, okay.” Miss Zombie glanced at Tina and got up to walk to the studio.

”Yes, Father.” Zero followed close behind, its gear-like eyes spinning as it waved its mechanical arms, seemingly trying to catch the black dots.

THUD, THUD!

Huh??

”Zero, you’re on my leg!”

”Sorry, sorry...”

Wei’en turned to see Shawa and Zero sprawled on the floor, and his expression froze.

’Holy shit, are they already being affected?’

He knew full well that for a zombie and a Mechanical Life form, the chances of tripping for no reason on the theater’s flat floor were practically zero...

”Tina, I’m sorry...”

The white-haired girl had clearly noticed them fall. She hugged her two dolls tighter and buried her little head between them.

”It was just an accident,”

Wei’en watched the two of them enter the studio, then breathed a sigh of relief and continued, ”Tina, I want you to know that in this world, Origins like Calamity, despair, or even Dawn are nothing more than manifestations of Extraordinary Power.”

”You may be influenced by the Calamity Origin right now, but I believe that if you can learn to control it, things like what happened to Shawa and the others won’t happen.”

”Tina... control?” Tina lifted her head slightly. ”Can Tina... do that?”

”Of course you can!”

Wei’en glanced around. ”In fact, there’s someone right here who can solve your problem. It’s that clown doll in your hands.”

”Tina... the clown?” The white-haired girl pinched the clown doll’s red nose and lifted it up.

”Yes, him. But he’s trapped in that dark world right now... Do you remember? Spirit Sight?”

A conflicted expression flickered across Tina’s face as she fidgeted with the doll. ”Tina... remembers. Clown.”

”Can you let him out?” Wei’en patted her head. ”You were only revived last time because he helped you...”

Tina lifted her face from the dolls, her bright eyes staring straight at him, a hazy shimmer welling within them.

After a long silence, she let go of the clown doll, grabbed the hem of Wei’en’s clothes instead, and whispered, ”Tina... Spirit Sight.”

As she spoke, the black dots of light in the air began to converge, forming thin black threads that slowly coiled around them both.

[Your Origin Power has exceeded 350. You are exempt from the influence of the Calamity Origin World. Evaluation: Qualitative Mass, oh, Qualitative Mass. The weight of the Calamity Origin... Special Rewards: Survival Points +20, Origin +2, Resilience Level +2, Spirit Level +2.]

’Qualitative Mass... is the weight of Origin Power?’

As the darkness spread, a sheet of blackness was reflected in Wei’en’s crimson eyes. Only he and Tina—oh, and the clown pinned to the ground by innumerable black threads, plus the teddy bear doll—were bathed in a faint light.

It was as if they were on a stage, lit by four beams of light, making it convenient for any potential audience in the darkness to watch their performance.

”Mmmph... mmmph...”

The clown noticed the movement and struggled, letting out a series of ”pathetic” yells. The muffled cries carried a long way, as if this world were vast and silent.

Wei’en looked at Tina beside him, and his expression changed. ’Is that...?!’

The white-haired girl was sitting perfectly still with a blank expression, as if an invisible chair, level with the floor of the world outside, existed in the darkness beneath her. Her once-bright eyes had become a profound black.

But that wasn’t what surprised Wei’en the most. His gaze was fixed on the center of Tina’s forehead.

An eye pattern had appeared there—black markings like overlapping bolts of lightning contorted to form a vertically slit eye.

”Tina...”

The white-haired girl turned her head slightly to look at Wei’en, and the light surrounding him suddenly intensified, as if he had drawn the attention of the Calamity World.

[Your Origin Power has exceeded 400. You are exempt from the influence of the Calamity Origin World. Evaluation: The Calamity Demon Eye... can’t hold on much longer... Special Rewards: Survival Points +30, Origin +3, Resilience Level +3, Spirit Level +3.]

’Calamity Demon Eye?!’

Wei’en’s brow furrowed. His thoughts raced as he activated his ”Spiritual Conversion” talent, converting his Spirit and Resilience levels into Origin Power, instantly boosting it to 1000.

”Are you okay?”

”Tina... is fine.” The white-haired girl glanced down at the clown on the floor and asked coldly, ”The clown... can I?”

Wei’en hesitated. He wasn’t sure if the clown could actually solve Tina’s problem with controlling the Calamity Origin, but right now, his only hope was this suspected Prince of the Third Epoch Turing Empire.

”Okay. Go ahead and release him, Tina.”

SNAP.

Hearing his words, Tina crooked a finger. The black threads binding the clown snapped one by one. After bending slightly toward the white-haired girl as if in a bow, they vanished into the surrounding darkness.

Once free from the black threads, the clown’s terrifying mask was surprisingly expressionless. It calmly stood up and calmly made a few movements, as if stretching a stiff body.

”So... the vessel has a consciousness of its own. Who would have thought...”

”Hm?”

’Vessel? Consciousness?’

Wei’en glanced at Tina, who seemed like a completely different person, then turned to the clown, whose lips were slowly twisting into a mocking grin. ”Mr. Leonard, I assume you heard our previous conversation...”

”Of course, of course,” the clown said, its crimson eyes darting between their foreheads. It giggled, ”How wonderful. Two Calamity Demon Eyes. Hee hee...”

’Two?’

Wei’en’s expression flickered. ’What does he mean?’

”Are you saying I have one on my forehead too?”

The clown gave him a malicious look. ”Isn’t it obvious... my dear young Mr. Wizard with the Calamity Demon Eye!”
