Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

”Tina, you mean big brother...”

After taking a dozen or so punches, Tina finally reacted. Pouting, she glared at Wei’en, balled her little hands into fists, and charged forward too.

BOOM!

[You have been attacked by Tina Klosterman. Because your Origin exceeds 1000, your body is immune to the corrosion of Calamity Origin. Evaluation: Engaging a Calamity species in close combat? A strange idea... Special Reward: Survival Points +30, Resilience Level +2.]

”That’s more like it, Tina! Make a fist and punch!”

After taking a punch from Tina, Wei’en breathed a small sigh of relief. ’Good, at least she knows to fight back.’

At the same time, he also gauged Tina’s physical strength. It was roughly at the level of a director, with a resilience level of around one thousand.

The only thing that could threaten him, the Calamity Origin, was nullified by his own cheat-like immunity from having over one thousand Origin.

Combined with their freakish regenerative abilities, it was basically a harmless duel.

The clown doll stood at the edge of the Gladiatorial Arena, watching Tina in the center. The corners of its mouth curled up. ’So, a gladiatorial match really means they have to fight, eh...’

’This is going to be fun!’

Ten minutes into the fight, Wei’en noticed an increase in Tina’s power. Her punches, now thrown in earnest, were twice as strong as before.

After half an hour, Tina could already trade blows with him evenly.

After an hour, a black glow appeared on Tina’s fists.

Two hours...

”No more! Stop!”

Wei’en flashed to the edge of the Gladiatorial Arena, raising his hands. ”Tina, that’s enough for today!”

Tina stood in the center of the arena, her little fists clenched. She looked at him with a serious expression. ”Tina... stop?”

”Yes, stop! We’re stopping!”

Wei’en took a deep breath, on the verge of a mental breakdown.

[You have been attacked by Tina Klosterman. Because your Origin is below 1500, your body has been corroded by Calamity Origin. You will be affected by a Bad Luck status for one hour. Evaluation: A bit foolish... Special Reward: Survival Points +20, Origin +1, Resilience Level +1, Spirit Level +1.]

Taking a punch—no, just making contact with Tina—would ’bless’ him with an hour-long bad luck status...

’Who the hell could stand this?’

Furthermore, he discovered that when fighting under the bad luck status, his punches would inexplicably miss, as if he were intentionally helping Tina dodge.

’A resilience level of two thousand, and I still can’t beat Tina’s one thousand... Fight?’

’Fight my ass!’

Hearing his words, the solemn expression on the white-haired girl’s face instantly dissolved, replaced by a smile. She ran over and tugged on the corner of Wei’en’s shirt. ”Tina strong?”

Wei’en praised her sincerely, ”Yes, very strong.”

’I was originally planning to unlock Tina’s potential and increase her combat experience.’

’Now it just looks like I was acting like a total clown...’

”Mr. Leonard, I’ll leave Tina to you from now on. Is that alright?”

The clown: ”...”

He wanted to refuse, but the thought of being trapped in that Calamity World again made him say resignedly, ”This is not how you use Calamity Power... It’s foolish.”

Foolish?

Wei’en actually nodded in deep agreement. ”That’s why I’m entrusting her to you.”

’It’s true that using Calamity Power that way is crude, but it was the only thing I could do.’

’This wasn’t a life-or-death duel. I couldn’t use all sorts of Magic or pull out a sniper rifle to attack Tina. That would easily push the fight in an uncontrollable direction.’

”You can get lost now!” The clown’s button eyes turned to him. It crossed its fluffy fingers and snapped them, producing a less-than-crisp sound.

”Huh?!”

By the time Wei’en came to his senses, he was back in the theater space.

”Uh... I was going to tell him not to be too hard on Tina, or at least remind Tina not to get angry...”

’I can only hope Mr. Leonard knows when to stop. Otherwise, I’m afraid I’ll have to make another trip to the Calamity World to let him out.’

But more surprising than that was the realization that Arnold really was the second prince of the Turing Empire. And Tina—that madwoman Tina—was the second princess, born in December?

Wei’en stroked his chin, a hint of confusion on his face. ”Four kids in one year?”

How did that woman named Lilith manage it?

However, based on the information he had gathered, Clown Arnold, the madwoman Tina, and Lilith, who the clown was so fixated on...

’Something must have happened to them, or rather, to the Turing Empire of the Third Era...’

Wei’en shook his head, pushing these thoughts aside. He figured he could look at that Era Relic again when he had time; he’d probably find some answers there.

’At this stage, as long as the clown can help Tina improve her strength, it’s a net gain for me.’

With that thought, he turned and went back to his workshop.

”Father,” Zero said, operating the drill press with lightning-fast hands and diligently crafting bullets. ”Look, it only takes us fifteen seconds to make a single bullet.”

Nearby, Shawa was constantly picking up pieces of semi-finished materials and handing them to Zero. With the help of her retractable mechanical arm, she completed this simple step without even having to bend over.

’Hmm, so a mechanical arm can be used like that?’

Wei’en watched them thoughtfully. ”You two can stop for a moment.”

”Oh.”

”Hold on, I’ll set up a separate workshop for each of you.”

”I get one too?” Shawa asked, turning her body and tilting her head slightly to look at him.

”Mhm,” Wei’en said, looking at her mechanical arm. ”If you want to be modified, you’ll also need to understand the relevant mechanical knowledge. Of course, you can also choose to refuse.”

Shawa stared at him for a few seconds with her one good, pale eye. Her pale lips parted, and she uttered two words: ”I accept.”

”If you have any questions, you can discuss them with each other first. If there’s something you don’t understand, you can also ask me.”
