Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

Damn it.

Wei’en was growing to hate that Liaison Officer more and more.

It wasn’t just because she had skimmed his intelligence fees. He was suddenly reminded of his predecessor’s sudden death.

If he wasn’t mistaken, the intelligence his predecessor had reported, while not enough for a life of luxury, should have been enough to prevent him from living so miserably.

In other words, the Liaison Officer’s despicable methods were what led to his predecessor’s ”accidental” death...

’Don’t let me ever run into you, or else...’

He would shove a gun right into the Liaison Officer’s mouth and blow her head off.

With a grim expression, Wei’en pulled out his small notebook. He silently moved the Liaison Officer’s name to the top of the list, followed in order by Melbel, the Demon Clown, and Clelia.

After a moment’s thought, he added Matteo’s name, placing it in the second spot.

The reason: for mass-producing parasites in the Caster City State, intending to create a level-three disaster through sacrifice and disrupting his quiet, peaceful life...

Looking at the five names recorded in the notebook, Wei’en suddenly felt a new surge of motivation. ’Sooner or later, I’ll make every one of them pay!’

He then opened his panel to check his stats.

Resilience Level: 125.6

Spirit Level: 207

Origin Power: 33.53 (34.53)

Survival Points: 357

...

His Spirit Level was another step closer to advancing to an Official Mage.

According to the notes from the Advanced Wizard Apprentice that the Ghost Soul School had sent over, advancing to an Official Mage required a Spirit Level of at least 400.

In addition, one needed an Origin Power of 2, the Ghost Meditation Technique at level 2, and to have learned three level-2 spells.

’Now I just need my Spirit Level to meet the requirement, and I can advance to Official Mage...’

But there was a special note in the manual that caught Wei’en’s attention—when advancing to an Official Mage, one would form their own innate ability.

Furthermore, if one possessed sufficient knowledge, had mastered enough magical abilities, and had a great deal of Origin Power, the resulting innate ability would be even more powerful.

’This special condition is practically tailor-made for me!’

Wei’en looked at the skills on his panel, his knowledge tree, and his Origin Power, and couldn’t help but feel a growing sense of anticipation for his advancement to Official Mage. He wondered what kind of innate ability he would form.

However—

To make his talent stronger, he needed more Survival Points.

’357 Survival Points... not nearly enough.’

He looked at the various spells in his skill list. Aside from the Puppet Manipulation Skill he had just learned and two Elemental Magic spells, all his other skills required at least a four-digit number of Survival Points to level up...

’Tsk. Maybe I should think of a way to actively earn some more Survival Points.’

Over this period, through his missions, he had indeed identified several places where he could quickly obtain a large number of Survival Points, such as Nocturnal City, the slums, the Dawn Church, Basil District...

However, although these places could earn him a lot of Survival Points, the risks were also significant.

Take Nocturnal City, for example. It had the Desire Faith Storage Totem and a Favored One of the Lord of Desire. Especially that Favored One named Mitra; he always felt that person was holed up in Nocturnal City for some special purpose.

The slums were also a no-go, at least not alone. That guy from the Abyssal Sect was powerful, at least on the same level as Minister Yegor.

The Dawn Church was even more out of the question. Going there would be practically suicide...

After thinking it over, the only option left was Basil District. The risk was relatively low, and it was full of lawless sailors who would be hostile toward him.

’It’s only *relatively* less dangerous...’

Wei’en hadn’t forgotten about the Vazquez Race he’d encountered in Basil District before. He suspected those people were still hiding there.

But on the other hand, ’if they’ve already left Caster, won’t I be missing out on a lot of Survival Points?’

’It might be worth going over there to check things out...’

With this in mind, Wei’en closed the panel, took out the design blueprints from the morning, and got busy.

Since he didn’t have money to buy new knowledge, he would further refine the design blueprints for the sniper rifle and the revolver, and while he was at it, learn and master more knowledge of runes.

Three hours passed quickly, and he had already completed the improved blueprints for both guns.

The main body of the sniper rifle hadn’t changed much, but the revolver, on the other hand, had taken him quite a bit of effort.

The revolver had to be modified from the base of a standard-issue firearm; it wasn’t as simple as just creating a new gun from scratch.

Therefore, Wei’en had even deliberately disassembled and reassembled the standard-issue firearm several times.

Fortunately, the people from the Property Management Department hadn’t implemented any anti-disassembly measures on the gun’s frame, otherwise this step would have completely wrecked the firearm.

’This will have to do for now. I’ll start building it when I get back.’

Wei’en put away the design blueprints, took out a metal card, pressed it to his forehead, and entered the Nightmare Realm World again.

”Did you hear? The Dawn Church just crowned a new Saintess...”

”A third Saintess?”

”Yeah, and she’s a Saintess who obtained the Heroic Authority.”

”Looks like Dawn will be making a move soon. Everyone should be careful for a while. Don’t run afoul of that one...”

Wei’en heard this information as soon as he entered the Nightmare Realm World. ’A third Saintess?’

’A Saintess with the Heroic Authority?’

’The Saintesses of the Dawn Church are divided by Authority?’

’Does that mean Sister Kali has to obtain an Authority before she can be crowned a Saintess?’

”Your Excellency?”

Wei’en snapped back to reality. Seeing Flanta already waiting nearby, he nodded and said, ”I’m not late, am I?”

”Of course not. I had nothing to do today, so I came early.”

Flanta looked at the number on his forehead, and the joy he felt from increasing his own Origin Power by 1 point instantly vanished.

’It’s only been two days, and the master has improved again—his Origin Power is already at 34!’
