Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

Wei’en closed the book and tossed it into his Space Ring. ’Alright, I’ll deal with this later when I have some spare survival points.’

He was, however, quite curious about the history that followed.

He was especially curious how the five great True God Churches of the Third Era had evolved into the present-day Dawn, Storm, Red Moon, and Earth Churches.

’As for the Turing Empire... not a single trace of it is left today. What’s the use of knowing more of its history?’

Wei’en shook his head. It seemed his equal contract with Clelia would have to continue for some time.

With that, he tidied up his workshop and went upstairs to rest.

On his way past Tina’s room, Wei’en deliberately opened the door to peek inside. Seeing the white-haired girl lying flat on her back, fast asleep, he carefully closed the door and returned to his own bedroom.

[Congratulations on surviving another day. Evaluation: The weak chicken has gotten a bit stronger. Hmm, a weakling? Reward: Survival Points +3.]

After Wei’en drifted off to sleep, the three women living in the other three rooms of the residence all opened their eyes at the same time...

Tina opened her vacant eyes and muttered, ”Lilith, Lilith, Lilith... Lilith!!”

The zombie girl stared at the ceiling, as if watching the black-haired young man, clutching a neatly folded white dress in her hand...

Only Clelia was different from the other two. She sat up, cursing under her breath. ”No way. Why should I be the one to get the short end of the stick? I have to get my revenge. You just wait, you old geezer!”

As soon as she finished speaking, she vanished once more into the shadows by her bed, embarking on her journey of revenge...

...

...

Late at night, a house shrouded in thick darkness stood against the howling, cold wind.

Scratches, as if from sharp claws, marred the wooden walls, adding to the dilapidated state of the old cabin.

Inside, candlelight flickered, and a musty odor filled the air.

Wei’en was startled awake by the pungent smell. ’How did I end up back in that guest room at the Snow Tavern... Huh?’

’What is this place?’

’Wasn’t I in my bedroom at home?’

Wei’en looked around the simple, dimly lit room. ’A dream?’

Just then, a rustling sound came from all around, like someone whispering in his ear, or perhaps just the wind blowing erratically outside the window...

In the silent room, it sent an inexplicable chill down his spine.

”What was that?”

Wei’en frowned. ’This isn’t my first dream. I’ve even been to the Spring of Dawn Faith, so what’s a small room like this?’

THUD.

He looked at the wooden door to his left, listening intently. ’Is someone knocking?’

THUD.

’That’s definitely a knock!’

THUD.

”Who is it? I was sleeping, stop knocking!”

BANG, BANG, BANG...

The person outside seemed to have heard him, as the knocking escalated into frantic pounding.

The jarring sound made the surrounding walls vibrate, making the scene even more bizarre in the darkness.

Wei’en sat on the edge of the bed, staring at the wooden door without moving. He was curious to see who was behind this trick.

Suddenly, shrill, mocking laughter cut through the night.

”Hee hee ha ha ha hee hee ha...”

’Huh?’

’That laugh sounds a little unhinged.’

Wei’en thought for a moment, then called out, ”Who is it? Who brought me into this dream? Come on out.”

’Better to take the initiative than to just wait.’

Having had several similar experiences since coming to this world, he was able to face the situation calmly.

The only common thread was that, with his current strength, he was powerless to resist...

As the laughter grew shriller, the knocking became faster and louder.

Every pound felt like it was hammering directly on Wei’en’s heart. Bizarrely, his own heartbeat began to quicken in sync with it.

The door panels began to creak, like a murmur in his heartbeat.

”Ugh.”

Wei’en clutched his chest. He could feel his heart racing; it felt like it was about to leap into his throat.

”Stop... knocking!”

Unable to take it anymore, he rushed over and threw the door open.

A black shadow shot inside, and a gust of cold wind from outside chilled his face. His heart instantly slowed down.

Wei’en shook his head and glanced outside. ’No one there?’

He casually closed the door and backed away slowly, keeping a close watch on it.

Although he told himself not to be nervous, that everything was fine, as time passed, he began to grow paranoid.

’Who could it be?’

’Clelia? The Despair Sect? The Dawn Church? Or those Vasquez People?’

’Hee hee ha ha... A clown?’

”Clown, is that you?”

”Hee hee, my young, handsome, lovely warrior. You finally remembered me...”

A slightly flirtatious voice sounded from behind him. Wei’en spun around and was shocked to see a dark figure!

”The Demon Clown?!”

”Good afternoon, young sir.”

The Demon Clown gave an elegant bow, pressing a black top hat to his chest, his left foot forward and right foot back as he bent slightly.

He wore a cracked clown mask, with blood-red lipstick drawn in a smile that stretched all the way to below his ears.

Beneath the mask was a chiseled jaw and a pair of eyes that flickered between madness and deathly stillness, brazenly sizing up Wei’en.

”You...”

”Aren’t you going to say hello?”

The atmosphere in the room grew heavy and oppressive, as if every inch of air was saturated with madness.

Wei’en swallowed hard, taking a deep breath to force himself to calm down, but his voice was still a bit hoarse. ”Good afternoon, Mr. Clown.”

”I still prefer to be called Leonard. Don’t you think?”

”Alright, Mr. Leonard...”

’Alright, my ass! What the hell is going on?’

’Isn’t the encounter progress not at 100% yet?’

’How did I run into the Demon Clown ahead of schedule, and in a dream like this?’

Wei’en felt like he was going to lose his mind!
