The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 444: Chapter 202: Perfume Appraisal Master_2

Shao Xiaoqi, whose emotions were a mixed bag, heard his mother’s instructions and managed to adjust his mindset a bit. He quickly got up to open a bottle of Moutai from the Year of the Horse, stopping the waiter who wanted to help, and personally poured drinks for the three of them.

”Mr. Zhou, it seems like you haven’t accepted the invitation to join the group yet.”

At this moment, Luo Meiling seemed to recall something and said with a smile to Zhou Wang, ”There are quite a few people in the group asking if our current major shareholder doesn’t want to play with them.”

Indeed, since its inception, BSK’s shares had been diluted numerous times, becoming fragmented and scattered among countless individuals and companies. And after acquiring 22.6% of the shares, without considering proxy shares, Zhou Wang had effectively...

...become BSK’s largest shareholder.

”Oh, sorry, I completely forgot about that... I’ll join now.”

Zhou Wang folded his hands apologetically and then picked up his phone to join the BSK shareholders’ group.

”Hahaha, Luo, you can’t blame him. My brother here, he didn’t only acquire shares in BSK. He’s probably so busy that things got a bit confusing for him.”

Zhang Shihao laughed heartily.

”Mr. Zhang, what do you mean by that? Has Mr. Zhou also acquired shares in other companies?” Luo Meiling asked, slightly startled.

”Oh, I forgot to tell you when you called me at noon. Brother Zhou here is also a shareholder in our Wuyou Media...”

When faced with Luo Meiling’s inquiries at noon, it wasn’t that Zhang Shihao had forgotten; he was just unsure if Zhou Wang wanted to disclose this identity. Now he no longer had any concerns.

”Damn!”

This exclamation didn’t come from Luo Meiling, but from Shao Xiaoqi, who was pouring the drinks.

His hand shook, and he almost spilled the wine on his mother.

”Xiao Qi!”

Luo Meiling looked at her son with some irritation, not understanding what was wrong with him today. How could he be so shaky just pouring a drink?

”S-sorry, Mom...”

Shao Xiaoqi, extremely embarrassed, didn’t know how to explain. The shock in his heart lingered for a long time and wouldn’t fade.

How could Zhou Wang be a shareholder of BSK?

And to top it off, he was the largest shareholder...

Initially, listening to the conversation between Luo Meiling and Zhou Wang, Shao Xiaoqi felt a bit confused until Zhang Shihao made it clear, and then Shao Xiaoqi fell into a stupor.

That was BSK!

In years when good investment opportunities were hard to come by, Shao Xiaoqi knew how many hurdles his mother had overcome only to become one of BSK’s original shareholders, even going as far as to find his cold-hearted father to ask him to utilize some connections...

And Zhou Wang, managed to quietly become the major shareholder. It was just... amazing.

Shao Xiaoqi, who often mingled in these nightclubs, had the personal goal and pursuit of becoming a shareholder in a well-known nightclub, how prestigious and impressive would that be!

Unfortunately, the only investments he could get into were some sketchy nightclubs, and currently, the only way to achieve his life goal seemed to be waiting to inherit Luo Meiling’s assets...

Yet Zhou Wang, only a year older, had become the main shareholder of BSK, the national chain nightclub. To Shao Xiaoqi, this was unbelievable.

Not just that, when he heard that Zhou Wang was also a shareholder of Wuyou Media, Shao Xiaoqi couldn’t help but tremble, which led to the scene before him...

Finally, he poured the drinks properly and sat down again. Listening to the three ”adults” chatting and laughing, Shao Xiaoqi found his own mindset had completely changed and couldn’t help but sneak a glance at Zhou Wang.

As the drinking session progressed, Shao Xiaoqi finally caught a chance when Zhang Shihao went to the restroom. He temporarily sat next to Zhou Wang under the guise of toasting.

”Well, Uncle Zhou, I toast to you.”

Shao Xiaoqi felt a bit awkward, but Zhou Wang didn’t seem to have any mocking expression, just clinked glasses with a smile, which made Shao Xiaoqi feel a bit better.

”Are you really a shareholder of BSK and Wuyou?”

Seeing that Luo Meiling was distracted by a phone call and wasn’t paying attention, Shao Xiaoqi lowered his voice and asked.

”With Mr. Zhang and your mom sitting here, do you really think they are acting out a play for you?” Zhou Wang asked with amusement.

”That’s not what I mean...”

Shao Xiaoqi gave an embarrassed smile, ”I just find it hard to believe... Zhou Wang, how did you do it?”

Noticing that the other took the opportunity, while his mom wasn’t looking, to call him by his name again, Zhou Wang raised an eyebrow, ”Why aren’t you calling me uncle again?”

”It’s just... Zhou Wang, do you really want to be my uncle!”

Shao Xiaoqi glanced at Luo Meiling and said in a low voice, ”Even if I misjudged you before, we can be friends from now on. I’m no Guo Bing, so don’t think you can lord over me!”

Zhou Wang looked at Shao Xiaoqi; he had long noticed that compared to someone like Young Master Zhang or Guo Bing, Shao Xiaoqi was the truly spoiled type and probably could only be subdued by Guo Bing before.

Seems like this kid wasn’t entirely convinced!

This wouldn’t do...

You’re good buddies with Guo Bing. If he calls me uncle and you don’t, how will you guys get along in the future? I’m doing this for the sake of your friendship, so...

The nephew foursome must include you!

”I don’t have to be your uncle, but you’d better think it through.”

”What do you mean?”

Shao Xiaoqi asked, puzzled, as he faced Zhou Wang’s somewhat amused expression.

Zhou Wang said nothing, but demonstrated first, as he deliberately ignored Luo Meiling next to him and reached as if to grab the lighter on the table, but ”accidentally” caught her delicate hand that was playing with a napkin on the table.
