The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 402: Chapter 192 Bouncing Shakalaka!_3

”Mr. Zhou, this way please.”

While Zhou Wang was observing, the others patiently waited for him. Once Zhou Wang started to move, Xiao Bai led the way, while Xiao Biao and his brother flanked him, paving the way.

With this kind of entourage, Zhou Wang attracted quite a bit of attention as he moved forward. Most of those noticing him were women.

After all, Zhou Wang’s appearance and aura were impeccable, yet he stood out from the more flamboyant types often seen at the bar. He was ruggedly handsome, and it was clear he was a man of ”status,” which naturally drew eyes.

There were even girls snapping pictures for social media who subconsciously aimed their cameras at Zhou Wang.

”Mr. Zhou, should I go ask her to delete it?” Xiao Biao asked Zhou Wang.

”No need.”

Zhou Wang waved it off; he wasn’t too concerned about such things, considering he wasn’t a public figure in need of privacy protection.

Besides, even if a public figure came to a place like this, privacy would be out the window anyway...

They moved through the crowd and arrived at the back of the DJ booth, where five booths were arranged in a semicircle. These were the best seats in the house in terms of privacy, viewing the performance, and spaciousness.

The VIP of VIP booths, colloquially known as the ”King Card,” not only symbolized a spendthrift’s budget but was also one of the hardest spots to get in a nightclub.

Interestingly, the seats were numbered from V01 to V06, skipping V04...

Why? Because Huaxia people believed in these things.

”Mr. Zhou, V03 and V06 are still available. Where would you like to sit?”

Two of the five booths were already full, and three were empty, but all had ”Reserved” signs, indicating that regular people couldn’t book these spots just with money.

Zhou Wang glanced at them, V03 was in the middle, while V06 was at the far end. Without much hesitation, he chose V06.

Mainly because Zhou Wang felt the view from V06 would be better, allowing a view of the dance floor. Since he was at a bar, he certainly wasn’t there for self-entertainment; he wanted to soak up the atmosphere!

So Zhou Wang promptly sat down at V06, while Xiao Biao and his brother stood silently on either side, taking on security roles.

After Zhou Wang was seated, Xiao Bai moved over. ”Mr. Zhou, what would you like to drink?”

”Bring a bottle of Armand de Brignac Violet, and a dozen beers, for now.”

As Zhou Wang scanned the drink menu, he casually ordered.

Speaking of Armand de Brignac, the ”Booth King” champagne popularized by Si Cong, it’s somewhat controversial.

The winery that produces it, Cartier, is indeed very prestigious. Abroad, its champagne is renowned, if not at the top.

Yet, as it entered the Huaxia market, due to over-marketing, the brand drew a lot of disdain and bias. Some said it tasted like piss, while others thought it was just a scam, not worth the price.

Add to that the proliferation of counterfeit wines, and its reputation wasn’t exactly stellar.

However, regardless of its reputation, it undeniably secured a unique spot in the Huaxia bar scene.

Its gaudy packaging did fit the Dazzling atmosphere of nightclubs well.

Or put another way, rich patrons at nightclubs needed such ”easy-money” champagne to flaunt their wealth and status.

This is what is meant by each fulfilling their needs, a characteristic inherent in almost all luxury goods.

The last time in Ming City, thanks to Zhou Yiquan’s gift, Zhou Wang had tried the basic Golden version of Armand de Brignac in a bar. He didn’t find it that bad. Though a bit sour, upon closer tasting, the flavor was richly layered...

So this time, he planned to try a different taste and casually ordered the Violet version of Armand de Brignac.

After Xiao Bai acknowledged the order, Zhou Wang suddenly remembered something. ”By the way, is ordering this little going to fall short of the minimum spend?”

Armand de Brignac Gold was priced at 8888 at BOOMSHAKE bar, and the five updated versions were significantly pricier. The Violet variant that Zhou Wang ordered ranked third, priced at 18880, which was already very expensive. But considering he was in a ”King Card” booth, he thought it best to confirm.

Even with Zhang Shihao’s connection, if he just ordered a beer and sat there, the bar wouldn’t kick him out, but that wasn’t how things were done...

”Sufficient, sufficient...”

After Xiao Bai’s explanation, Zhou Wang learned that BOOMSHAKE’s official minimum expense didn’t appear high.

On non-working days, other scattered tables and standard VIPs didn’t have minimum charges. Even ”King Card” booths only had a minimum of 3800, which rose to 5800 on weekends.

Of course, this is just on the surface.

Anyone could book scattered tables. To attract young urbanites, not all seats could have a minimum charge. But for a ”King Card,” though they say a few thousand yuan, nobody probably spent just a few thousand here...

Those with only that much financial strength couldn’t book a ”King Card,” and those who could, wouldn’t spend so little. So the purported booth minimums were just for show.

Though this was limited to popular bars, in recent years, as businesses struggled, many nightclub booths could even be reserved with only a few hundred for the minimum...

Sometimes, if lucky, there might even be ”sugar babies” pitching in.

After ordering the drinks, Xiao Bai arranged for a waiter to bring them over, then sat back. After respectfully lighting a cigarette for Zhou Wang, he asked, ”Mr. Zhou, would you like me to get some girls over to join you?”
