The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 411: Chapter 194: Solo Dance_4

Until screams and the sound of breaking bottles came from not far away, with security converging in one direction, Zhou Wang’s mood was finally interrupted...

He glanced up, furrowing his brow slightly, and saw that the commotion was coming from the direction of the V03 booth. But that wasn’t what made Zhou Wang frown; the key was that he saw Cheng Yiyi and Song Rui.

Why were they here too?

At this moment, Jiang Mubai also stopped, looked back, and helped Zhou Wang off the couch.

”Wait for me here, I need to check it out.”

He told Jiang Mubai and then walked over in that direction, with Biaozi and his brothers silently following him.

Jiang Mubai hesitated for a moment before giving in to her curiosity and decided to follow as well.

When Zhou Wang approached, the intervention of the security had temporarily separated the two conflicting groups, and the duty manager had also arrived and was trying to mediate the situation.

But his attempts didn’t seem to be working very well. A girl standing next to Fat Huang at the V03 booth was still pointing at Cheng Yiyi on the opposite side and cursing:

”Was it necessary to keep screaming because I accidentally bumped into you while passing by? Damn, you’re just precious, huh, bitch...”

”Your cigarette butt burned me! Was that just a bump? I just wanted an apology, but you poured alcohol on us!”

Cheng Yiyi was nearly enraged to madness. However, she couldn’t outcurse the other; she could only tremble with anger and attempt to reason with her.

”Yiyi, where did you get burned? Is it serious...”

Song Rui, who was initially confused about the situation, quickly asked Cheng Yiyi.

”It’s blistering already, what do you think?”

Feeling wronged, Cheng Yiyi pointed to her forearm. Though the dim lighting made it hard to see, Song Rui saw that Cheng Yiyi was about to cry. He immediately got riled up, trying hard to suppress his fury as he looked at Lin Ge, the host of the drinking session.

”Lin Ge, what’s your take on this...”

”Ah Rui, let it go. It’s not a big deal, let’s all have a drink and resolve the misunderstanding.”

Lin Ge could only brace himself to say this.

While he had met Tong Jingcheng and Fat Huang before, he wasn’t familiar with them. If it were just these two, it wouldn’t have been such a huge problem. The real issue was that he also knew Shao Xiaoqi and Guo Bing, and these two were really not to be trifled with...

Even though they probably didn’t remember him at all.

Song Rui instantly realized that he couldn’t rely on Lin Ge. He turned and loudly addressed the girl who was cursing, ”You better apologize to Yiyi, right now!”

”Bro, if you have something to say, keep your mouth clean!”

Before the girl could respond, Fat Huang frowned and took a step forward.

”When she was cursing Yiyi, her mouth was dirtier than mine. Why didn’t you shut her up then?”

Fueled by anger, Song Rui didn’t care whether they were a famous internet celebrity or a top blogger. He didn’t have to please them for anything, so he sneered coldly, ”Fat Huang, way to live up to your role as a comedy influencer, just out here to be funny, huh?”

Fat Huang’s face immediately turned sour. But given that it was a public space, with people in the distance taking videos on their phones, he couldn’t really lose his temper. He could only glance backward.

Guo Bing and Shao Xiaoqi, who had been watching on the sidelines the whole time, exchanged smiles when they saw Fat Huang’s glance.

Feeling that the spectacle was about over, Shao Xiaoqi casually waved at the duty manager, signaling him to handle the situation.

The duty manager got the hint and approached Song Rui and the others, saying, ”Gentlemen, please return to your seats and refrain from causing further disturbance... Otherwise, we will have to ask you to leave.”

”Who’s causing a disturbance?” Song Rui protested indignantly, ”It’s obviously their fault, so why are we being blamed for causing trouble?”

At that moment, Fat Huang chuckled with newfound confidence, ”I don’t get it, do you? Turn around and sit back down, and you might keep a bit of dignity. Otherwise, the only way you’ll leave is by rolling out!”

”You motherf...”

Instinctively, Song Rui took a step forward. He didn’t mean to escalate things, but the security misunderstood and one guard stepped in to block him.

The guard didn’t really push hard. However, Song Rui was rather frail, and with that push, he stumbled and sat down on the floor, his awkward position causing Fat Huang and the others to burst into laughter.

Humiliated in front of his goddess, Song Rui was naturally furious. As he picked up a bottle to confront them, a hand reached out in time, pressing down on his shoulder.

”Don’t be impulsive.”

Startled, Song Rui looked up instinctively and saw Zhou Wang gazing down at him.

For some reason, seeing Zhou Wang appear made the previously furious Song Rui suddenly calm down a bit.

Facing Zhou Wang’s proffered hand, he let go of the bottle, grabbing Zhou Wang’s arm to stand up, scratching his head, ”Zhou Wang, I wasn’t really planning to do anything, it’s just that they’re bullying us too much, damn it...”

”Shall I handle it?”

Having observed for a while, Zhou Wang roughly understood the cause and effect, and he patted Song Rui’s shoulder with a smile.

”Mmm, after all, this will eventually be my territory too, so I must maintain some necessary justice...”

Hearing this, Song Rui instinctively stepped aside.

Zhou Wang started to walk forward, and the security initially wanted to stop him until they saw the duty manager frantically signaling them. Understanding the cue, they stepped aside without a word.

”Zhou Wang!”

Initially filled with anger and grievance, Cheng Yiyi’s tears had already started flowing. In her moment of helplessness, she suddenly saw Zhou Wang and ran over without thinking, grabbing his hand and hiding behind him.

Cheng Yiyi didn’t really know what Zhou Wang could do at this moment, but somehow, seeing Zhou Wang made her feel secure...

This scene left Song Rui bewildered, wasn’t Cheng Yiyi just saying she recently met Zhou Wang? They didn’t look like it now!

Zhou Wang didn’t concern himself with Cheng Yiyi right then. He was about to speak but paused while frowning, because the bar’s music was still playing, and he didn’t want to shout like the others...

It was so lowbrow, how uncouth.

Biaozi, ever the perceptive one, immediately understood Zhou Wang’s little conundrum and directly said to the duty manager, ”Lower the music.”

Catching on, the duty manager quickly used his walkie-talkie to contact the bar counter, and soon, the music in the bar faded. This left patrons who were swaying to the music at a distance with confused expressions, wondering what malfunction had occurred...

Seeing the surroundings were relatively quiet, Zhou Wang nodded with satisfaction and addressed Fat Huang and his female companion, ”Hey man, this did start out as your fault, so apologizing shouldn’t be too difficult, right?”

”Who the hell are you, and what does this matter have to do with you?” Fat Huang frowned, responding without much thought.

Yet, as soon as he said it, he noticed his buddy Tong Jingcheng pulling frantically at his sleeve with eyes full of hints about watching what he was saying.

Fat Huang knew him too well, and instantly identified that Tong Jingcheng was signaling him to be careful with his words.

But why?

Before Fat Huang could figure it out, Zhou Wang casually remarked, ”If you don’t apologize, I might have to ask you to leave.”

With Zhou Wang’s words, Biaozi and his brothers behind him took a step forward, exuding a palpable sense of pressure.

At this point, Fat Huang finally sensed something was off. Strangely, the duty manager and security around them had not reacted at all, their eyes seemed to drift, deliberately avoiding looking in their direction...

This isn’t right, Shao Xiaoqi’s family is a shareholder of the bar too, why aren’t they speaking up now?

Confused, Fat Huang turned his head only to become completely befuddled when he saw that Guo Bing and Shao Xiaoqi, who he relied on for support, had turned their heads away at some unknown point and were silently trying to inch away, seemingly attempting a quiet escape...

Fat Huang: ”???”

Zhou Wang noticed their small actions and, amused, called out, ”Nephew, where are you two going?”
