The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 393: Chapter 190 I Want to Be Friends with You_2

”Zhou Wang, Suisui, and Xixi, I might have to leave a bit early.”

Wang Xiaoxiao said to the three with a smile.

”Ah, but it’s only nine o’clock, it’s not late at all. Xiaoxiao, won’t you hang out a bit more?”

Hua Suisui glanced at her phone and asked, puzzled, ”Don’t tell me you’re already sleepy, because I won’t believe it!”

”No, I’m just not feeling well. And since we have a meeting tomorrow, I’m worried I won’t be in good shape, so I thought I’d go back to the hotel to rest...”

Wang Xiaoxiao explained, then looked at Zhou Wang, ”Zhou Wang, is that okay?”

In response to Wang Xiaoxiao’s seemingly consultative inquiry, Zhou Wang just gave a faint smile.

At least she still remembered she had a ”mission”...

But since she mentioned not feeling well, what else could Zhou Wang say? Besides, he had already lost interest in Wang Xiaoxiao—frankly, the two of them hadn’t exchanged more than twenty sentences tonight, most of which were small talk.

”Of course. You go ahead first. Do you need me to arrange a car for you?”

Zhou Wang nodded.

”No, no, I’ll just get a cab...”

Wang Xiaoxiao stood up, waving her hand, and headed out with Xiao An seeing her off. Endme, her head still a bit dizzy, didn’t move and just waved goodbye to Wang Xiaoxiao, but Hua Suisui thought for a moment and then stood up.

”Zhou Wang, I’ll go see her off, okay?”

”Alright.”

”Xiaoxiao might not be very suited for these events. She’s always been a bit slow. It was her lack of understanding in matters of society that got her sidelined by her former company... Brother Zhou Wang, please don’t mind her!”

Hua Suisui hesitated a bit before leaving and whispered to Zhou Wang, making a cute gesture.

”Everyone’s different, don’t worry, I don’t mind.”

Zhou Wang waved with a gentle smile.

Seeing that Zhou Wang really didn’t seem to care, Hua Suisui hurriedly chased after them.

Now, only Zhou Wang and Endme were left in the room.

Under Zhou Wang’s gaze, Endme realized she might have been a bit careless; she should have gone out with Hua Suisui...

But as Endme sat up nervously, Zhou Wang didn’t say anything teasing, instead, he appeared even more serious than before, simply asking her:

”We’re almost done with dinner, do you want to go somewhere else to continue the night?”

Zhou Wang had originally planned to open a second bottle of Lafite, but with Wang Xiaoxiao leaving, he realized it wasn’t that early anymore, and staying in the restaurant served no purpose.

As for the Lafite, he thought to leave it for now—it didn’t matter when he’d drink it.

”Ah, you still want to continue?”

Endme hesitated at his suggestion and glanced at her phone on the table, ”But it seems a bit late already...”

”Nine-ish isn’t late, right? For those of you from these developed places, nightlife should just be getting started.”

Zhou Wang laughed, ”I, coming from a remote province, am counting on you guys to show me the world!”

He was quite eager to spend more time with Endme... mainly to figure out what was hidden in her that triggered the rainbow exclamation mark from the system.

”People from small towns don’t drink ’82 Lafite or wear limited edition Rolexes... But Zhou Wang, where could we go?”

Endme chuckled, but then asked hesitantly.

She deliberately avoided looking at Zhou Wang as she spoke.

”I’d like to check out a nightclub in Hang City, are you interested?”

Zhou Wang said openly and honestly.

One of his little plans coming to Hang City was to see the city’s nightclubs, to broaden his horizons, and this time seemed just right.

...Truth is, he hadn’t visited many proper nightclubs in Ming City either. Most of the time, he just went to various small bars because he never had the means to afford it before.

”A bar, huh?”

Endme’s face showed a hint of interest, but she instinctively shook her head in her response, ”I never go to those places... they seem so chaotic.”

”Never been?” Zhou Wang was a bit surprised.

”If we’re not counting the quiet bars near University City, then no, I haven’t...”

Endme replied honestly, ”Although I do enjoy various music festivals quite a bit.”

”That’s not the same thing. Honestly, I haven’t really been either; want to experience it together?”

Zhou Wang didn’t expect Endme to be such a ”good girl,” as it’s rare to find someone like her type of young woman who hasn’t been to a nightclub.

Endme started to say something but met Zhou Wang’s gaze, her cheeks reddened, and she found herself at a loss for words to refuse. Inexplicably flustered, Endme hurriedly stood up.

”I... I need to go to the bathroom.”

But she didn’t realize just how dizzy she felt until she stood up, stumbling a bit.

Zhou Wang instinctively reached out, wrapping his arm around Endme’s slender waist to steady her.

She felt so slim and soft... perfect for holding.

Half sitting in Zhou Wang’s embrace, Endme was both embarrassed and anxious as she tried to wriggle free. At this moment, the door to the room swung open, and in walked Hua Suisui. Ordinarily, this would have been nothing, but behind her was a tall, young man.

The young man looked to be in his twenties, standing at least six feet tall, handsome, with an air of a European model.

”Xixi, your boyfriend... Ah!”

Walking ahead, Hua Suisui had just opened her mouth to say a few words when she caught sight of Zhou Wang holding Endme in his arms, and let out an instinctive gasp.

She’d only been gone for such a short while, and Zhou Wang and Endme were already embracing?
