The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 369: Chapter 183: Kill Me Gently (Requesting Monthly Pass)

Ming City’s main road.

”The breeze blows past the eaves, the mountains bloom with childhood, when you gaze at the stars, you can hear longing...”

A song called ”Gazing” by Pharaoh echoed in the space of the Benz AMG.

Zhou Wang listened to music nowadays, rarely sticking to a fixed playlist. He just used ”personalized recommendations,” playing whatever came up. If he liked a song, he’d hit the heart button.

He was considering that Jiang Mo probably wouldn’t like rap and was about to skip the song when Jiang Mo suddenly spoke up, ”Shall we go stargazing?”

”Sure.”

Zhou Wang thought for a moment, pulled out his phone to search, and since the car was already heading north, he said, ”Let’s go to Changchong Mountain. It’s closer.”

He knew of a place in Ming City perfect for stargazing, where the light pollution was level three or above, making the Milky Way visible to the naked eye. It was also a filming location for the movie ”Forever Young,” but it was too far, over an hour’s drive...

Compared to that, although the chance of seeing stars at Changchong Mountain was small, it was advantageously closer, right on the edge of the city.

He navigated to the Changchong Mountain Observation Deck, and Jiang Mo sped up slightly. With the Benz AMG’s low engine roar resounding, the car changed direction toward the North Third Ring.

Jiang Mo’s driving skills weren’t exceptional, but maybe because of her calm temperament, she drove steadily, at least it looked like there wouldn’t be any major issues.

Twenty-something minutes later, the Benz AMG arrived at the Ming City Changchong Mountain scenic area, but it couldn’t drive further up from the foot of the mountain.

Here, normally, people would either hike five to six kilometers to the top or take a car from the scenic area. But Zhou Wang just asked his senior sister to wait in the car while he got out to talk with the gatekeeper...

A few minutes later, Zhou Wang returned to the car, and the barrier gate was lifted.

”How did you persuade him to open the gate?”

Jiang Mo asked curiously.

”I didn’t persuade him, I just transferred him a thousand yuan... Let’s go.”

Zhou Wang waved his hand.

Jiang Mo was stunned for a moment, then nodded gently and started the car.

Walking would have taken an hour, but driving only took about ten minutes. Moments later, the Benz AMG parked in the lot below the Observation Deck. Zhou Wang and Jiang Mo got out of the car and walked a few more minutes to the Observation Deck.

It was summer, and the observation deck was crowded with people, mostly young ones taking photos and checking in on social media. There were even those who snagged the best spots early, waiting to watch the sunrise...

All over the Observation Deck, signs with popular artsy inscriptions could be seen, like ”I love Ming City and you even more,” and ”Waiting for the wind, waiting for the rain, I’m waiting for you at Changchong Mountain”...

”So many people...”

Jiang Mo frowned slightly, seeming unsure where to settle.

”Wait for me.”

Zhou Wang scanned the area, then walked directly to the spot with the best view and had a chat with the couple sitting there.

A moment later, as Zhou Wang waved her over, Jiang Mo walked to him, glanced at the couple who had left, and asked with a slightly complex look, ”A thousand?”

”Not this time, they dropped the price themselves, only asked for five hundred... College students still have a genuine side.”

Zhou Wang coughed lightly, then took his senior sister’s hand, pulling her up to the higher spot.

Turning around, shoulder to shoulder, they couldn’t see many stars in the night sky, but within their view was a dazzling panoramic view of the city.

The cold and warm lights reflected off one another, like the flowing Milky Way on the ground, showcasing all aspects of human life, shining here and there.

”So beautiful.”

Jiang Mo watched for a while, then gently rested her head on Zhou Wang’s shoulder.

”Indeed...”

Zhou Wang nodded.

During his university days, classmates often invited him to go out and enjoy nature, but back then Zhou Wang thought those activities were so boring...

At this moment, he realized it wasn’t that the scenery wasn’t beautiful enough, but that he lacked the mindset to appreciate beauty at the time.

If one can’t even secure a livelihood, what right do they have to pursue poetry and distant horizons?

”I want to go to Beidou.”

After some time, Jiang Mo finally spoke softly.

”Beidou?” Zhou Wang was taken aback.

”Yes... Junior sister Ding’s relative teaches at Huaxia Music College. The graduate exam for piano performance is about to begin. She said I might try... Zhou Wang, I don’t want to study law anymore. Is that okay?”

After speaking, Jiang Mo looked up at Zhou Wang, her eyes full of inquiry.

”You’ve been in contact with Ding Yi?”

After the surprise, Zhou Wang quickly nodded, ”Of course, as I said before, you can do whatever you want... But are you sure, senior sister, that you want to take the music path?”

”Yes, Junior Sister Ding gave me a lot of advice... It might not necessarily be music. If possible, I’d also like to visit the Huaxia Art Academy, I might choose painting.”

Jiang Mo hesitated a bit here, obviously she hadn’t made up her mind.

Zhou Wang thought whether it was painting or music, either would suit Jiang Mo quite well, given that she wasn’t really suited for careers requiring a lot of social interaction...

As for the high costs of studying the arts, because the senior sister’s consumption money kept piling up, Zhou Wang didn’t even know how to spend it, so spending money was a good thing!

The more money burned, the better!

It was just that Ding Yi of all people giving such advice felt a bit odd to Zhou Wang...

”Senior sister, if you’re torn between painting and music, why not pursue both?”

Seeing Jiang Mo’s dilemma, Zhou Wang directly smiled and offered his own suggestion.

”Huh?”

Jiang Mo obviously hadn’t considered this perspective, and was momentarily stunned.

But after a second thought, what Zhou Wang said made sense. Besides, right now she had plenty of time.
