The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 392: Chapter 190 I Want to Be Friends with You

In the comfort of Hua Suisui and Wang Xiaoxiao, the naturally cheerful Endme quickly adjusted her mood. She placed her phone face down on the table with a bright smile on her face.

”I’m fine, let’s keep drinking. There’s still plenty left in this bottle of Lafite, can’t let it go to waste~”

Endme chuckled and raised her glass first towards Zhou Wang and Hua Suisui.

It seemed like nothing had changed, but Zhou Wang keenly noticed that Endme had restrained herself quite a bit, no longer making any flirtatious jokes with him, and deliberately keeping a distance in her words.

It seemed her boyfriend influenced her quite a lot...

True love, maybe?

”If you can’t handle it, you can drink less, or have some juice like Wang Xiaoxiao, better not let your boyfriend worry too much.”

Zhou Wang thought to himself, smiled, and took the initiative to suggest.

Facing Zhou Wang’s sincere gaze, Endme was momentarily stunned, a bit touched, then she shyly avoided Zhou Wang’s eyes.

”Don’t worry about him, he’s just kind of possessive, it’s not the first time we’ve argued about it... Uh, let me toast to you, thank you for hosting us today.”

Zhou Wang nodded understandingly and gently clinked his glass with Endme’s.

The dinner continued. Since Endme was back, Hua Suisui didn’t act as intimately with Zhou Wang as she did earlier.

Actually, Hua Suisui was not the type of girl who couldn’t handle herself. She was especially known for portraying a shy, little sister persona to the outside world...

The reason she lost a bit of composure and acted proactively before, was because she sensed a crisis from the way Zhou Wang looked at Endme...

Most girls are sensitive, especially someone like Hua Suisui who had enough experience and worked in the online celebrity live-streaming industry. Even though Zhou Wang didn’t show it obviously, she nonetheless saw that Endme seemed to have an inexplicable attraction to Zhou Wang.

Fortunately, the timely call from Endme’s boyfriend came, otherwise, even without the call, Hua Suisui was already calculating how to subtly point out the fact that Endme already had a boyfriend...

Someone like Zhou Wang, whom she deemed a potential catch, surely couldn’t be a scoundrel, right?

With Hua Suisui’s limited experience in dating, she could only comfort herself like this.

When the atmosphere became lively again, the first bottle of Lafite was soon finished, and at this time, Xiao An looked at Zhou Wang with a questioning expression.

”Mr. Zhou, should we open the second bottle?”

”Can you guys still drink?”

Zhou Wang hesitated a bit and asked Hua Suisui and Endme.

It wasn’t that he was reluctant. In fact, after placing the order, from the moment it was out of stock, such high-end wine couldn’t be returned anyway. He only hesitated seeing Hua Suisui and Endme seemed already showing signs of being slightly drunk.

The seating arrangement at this time was quite interesting, as Endme unknowingly sat to Zhou Wang’s left, making her and Hua Suisui sit beside Zhou Wang on either side, while Wang Xiaoxiao took Endme’s previous seat.

It seemed that earlier Endme switched places with Wang Xiaoxiao to show Zhou Wang her makeup-free photo on her phone, proving her natural beauty...

On the surface, both girls seemed a little tipsy, but Zhou Wang always felt that Hua Suisui seemed to be acting while Endme genuinely couldn’t handle much drink.

At this point, she couldn’t sit upright anymore, lightly leaning against the chair, her slightly flushed cheeks resembling a peeled boiled egg, round and enticing.

”I can handle it!”

Hua Suisui was the first to respond, her off-shoulder top subtly brushing against Zhou Wang from time to time.

Endme hesitated briefly, but somehow couldn’t find words to refuse.

It was quite amazing. She felt a strange affinity with Zhou Wang...

In fact, because of her personal experiences, she was quite picky with boys, but interacting with Zhou Wang felt inexplicably comfortable. Endme originally just intended to have a symbolic sip, but unknowingly ended up drinking almost three glasses.

”My name is Ji Xiaoxi...”

A slightly dizzy Endme thought to herself, then spoke up.

Zhou Wang was taken aback, then realized it was her real name, remembering that Endme had a nickname, ”Sister Xi.”

”Hello, Sister Xi, I’m your Brother Zhou Wang.”

Zhou Wang directly changed the form of address.

”Hate it, everyone calls me sister, how dare you take advantage like this!”

Endme pouted and complained, but the corners of her mouth had a smile, ”And I’m actually older than you if you just graduated college... Brother Zhou Wang!”

”What makes you bigger?”

Zhou Wang asked very seriously, earning a flustered response from the sensitive Endme, who playfully punched him, only to have Zhou Wang easily catch her hand.

Endme’s hand, lightly held by Zhou Wang at the wrist, carried a faint scent of some unknown brand of hand cream, like lemon, still pleasant.

”Let go of me!”

Endme was startled and tried to withdraw her hand, but even though her hand was slippery enough, Zhou Wang’s was rough enough that the friction canceled out, making Ji Xiaoxi’s face turn even redder.

She felt regretful yet slightly thrilled, she clearly tried to keep a distance from Zhou Wang, how did she end up losing her head and handing over her hand...

At that moment, a voice from the side, Wang Xiaoxiao interrupted their ”interaction,” allowing Hua Suisui, who didn’t know how to interject, to breathe a sigh of relief.

”Uh...”

When Zhou Wang looked over, Endme hurriedly took the opportunity to withdraw her little hand, placing it on her lap, gently kneading, though still feeling the lingering warmth, making her heart beat a bit faster.
