Bai Yiyuan said, ”There are advanced Alchemists in the fortress. You can ask them to help you replenish the energy.”

”However, they generally aren’t really interested in money. What they want more is materials.”

”When the time comes, you can inquire about them.”

”If worse comes to worst, you can go back to Xiajing Academy. You can go back via the teleportation formation we came through. However, it’s a bit expensive.”

Lin Moyu nodded.

After having said everything that had to be said, Bai Yiyuan bid Lin Moyu farewell.

Lin Moyu went to the trade office in the fortress. Fortunately, the trade office here is connected to the imperial trade office.

Furthermore, there are some special things for sale here.

In the empire, these things can’t be seen in the trade office.

These items are called military supplies and have strict tier restrictions.

You can buy things that correspond to your tier.

Lin Moyu, who currently has no military merit, is at the lowest tier.

There aren’t many things he can purchase at the moment.

Teleportation Stone used to return to the fortress is one of them, and its price is 10,000 gold coins per stone, which isn’t cheap at all.

This thing is disposable, and it has a possibility of failure.

Lin Moyu bought 10 Teleportation Stones.

There is still the Anti-Curse Potion, and it also costs 10,000 gold coins per bottle.

After it is consumed, it increases curse resistance by 20% for one hour.

Lin Moyu considered it for a moment. In the end, he didn’t buy it.

He has no need for it.

There were also some special equipment from the battlefield.

These equipment are called battlefield equipment.

Compared to other dungeon equipment of the same level, they possess higher attributes.

Battlefield equipment can also increase damage to abyssal demonic creatures.

The choice is obvious.

Similarly, corresponding military merit is required to purchase them.

Lin Moyu took a look at them and realized why Bai Yiyuan told him to prepare a lot of gold coins.

Bai Yiyuan is confident in Lin Moyu’s ability to gain military merit.

But when it comes to his ability to making money, he isn’t that certain.

These battlefield equipment -- in addition to the military merit requirement -- are very expensive, each priced at hundreds of thousand of gold coins.

And this is still the worst sergeant rank equipment.

When it comes to colonel rank equipment, they already cost millions of gold coins. Lin Moyu can’t afford them at all.

After strolling around the fortress and getting himself familiarized with it, Lin Moyu was ready to visit Dimensional Battlefield.

A soldier kindly stopped Lin Moyu.

”Kid, you’re level 22.”

”Did your elders bring you here?”

”The weakest monsters here are level 30. There are also abyssal demonic creatures.”

”If you go out like this, your life will be in danger.”

To become a soldier of a fortress of Eternal Great Wall, class users must have exceeded level 40 and completed the second awakening.

Lin Moyu’s Cloaking Badge can’t conceal his information from them.

”Thank you. I’m just going to take a look.”

Although his words were polite, yet his attitude was quite firm.

The soldier perceived the determination in his words and no longer stopped him, ”Then be careful. If there’s any danger, come back right away.”

When Lin Moyu’s receding figure disappeared from sight, the soldier sighed, ”Yet another ignorant kid who doesn’t know how vast the world is. I hope nothing bad happens to him.”

Every year, many people get into trouble because of this.

In general, people operate in a party.

There are also people who -- like Lin Moyu -- operate alone. But their level isn’t low. At least above level 30.

And even if their level is above level 30, they can still encounter danger at any time.

Unlike Lin Moyu, there is practically no one who would go to Dimensional Battlefield at level 22.

After Lin Moyu left, another party left the fortress and advanced toward the depths of Dimensional Battlefield.

Dimensional Battlefield is filled with Abyss’s aura.

The air is permeated with a mist, making visibility fairly poor.

Lin Moyu can’t see too far ahead here.

Suddenly, the Bone Armor covering him lit up.

Lin Moyu was startled. He had been attacked.

However, he can’t see the source of the attack.

The Bone Armor kept flashing. The attacks didn’t stop.

There’s an invisible monster?

Dimensional Battlefield is indeed dangerous.

At this time, several Skeletal Warriors emerged next to him.

Since their master is under attack, the Skeletal Warrior immediately reacted.

Their soul fires throbbed fiercely, and their eyes shone with red light.

The large blades in their hands slashed in a direction at the same time.

The sound of cloth ripping rose in the wake of the large blades.

At the same time, there was a piercing scream.

Only then was Lin Moyu able to see what the monster attacking him looks like.

The monster looks like a mass of dust. Hidden in the mist, it is difficult to distinguish it with the naked eye.

Its figure was slightly exposed after being attacked by the Skeletal Warrior.

[Battlefield Specter]

[Level: 30]

[Power: 6,000]

[Agility: 2,000]

[Spirit: 2,000]

[Physique: 5,000]

[Skill: Physical Immunity]

The first monster he encountered on Dimensional Battlefield was a specter-like monster.

This kind of monster only appears in places like Dimensional Battlefield.

For a level 30 monster, its attributes aren’t very high, similar to enhanced elite monsters of nightmare rank dungeons.

When it’s hidden, it’s very difficult to detect it.

It usually will only become visible when attacking.

Fortunately, Lin Moyu has Bone Armor, which is powerful enough to withstand the attacks of the Battlefield Specter.

Lin Moyu was only slightly surprised by the appearance of the specter-type monsters on the battlefield. He was much more curious about its skill.

As his thoughts reached this point, the Battlefield Specter let out a scream.

Skill: Physical Immunity.

Its body is intangible, as if it were a cloud of dust, only thinner.

The blades of the Skeletal Warriors passed right through it, as if it were empty air, unable to cause any damage to it.

In turn, the Battlefield Specter, is able to attack the Skeletal Warriors.

Lin Moyu could clearly sense that the Skeletal Warriors being attacked.

”It’s really immune to physical attacks.”

”Then what about elemental attacks?”

Lin Moyu summoned a few Skeletal Mages.

The Skeletal Mages attacked as soon as they appeared.

Explosive flames and icy storms greeted the Battlefield Specter one after another.

The Battlefield Specter emitted tragic screams. The elemental attacks dealt it huge damage.

Two or three attacks later, the Battlefield Specter was killed.

[Killed level 30 Battlefield Specter, EXP +300,000]

[Obtained soul aura]

[Soul aura: contains the will of the deceased; can enhance weapons and equipment]

The amount of EXP the Battlefield Specter provided is mediocre.

As for the material called soul aura, Lin Moyu has never seen it before.

It seems to be quite the useful material.

Lin Moyu is aware that Skeletal Warriors have limitations. The same goes for Skeletal Mages.

Since there are monsters with physical immunity, there might also be monsters with elemental immunity, or even monsters with physical and elemental dual immunity.

At that time, both Skeletal Warriors and Skeletal Mages may be of no use.

Lin Moyu had no choice but to become more vigilant.

As he advanced toward the dungeon, he continued to contemplate his skills.

”Skeletal Warriors unleash physical attacks, while Skeletal Mages unleash elemental attacks.”

”Soul Blaze unleashes spirit attacks. Then what about Corpse Explosion?”

Lin Moyu recalled the various situations where he used Corpse Explosion.

Corpse Explosion gave him the feeling of a mixed attack.

With health as the foundation, it integrates physical, elemental, and other kinds of attacks.

”Let’s just consider it as a health-type attack for the time being.”

”Every skill has its advantages and disadvantages. One should always be on guard.”

Lin Moyu thought of what his sister, Lin Mohan, once said -- you must be careful at all times.

Dimensional Battlefield is extremely vast.

After more than 1,000 years of war, the scope of the battlefield has been greatly expanded.

Reportedly, the deepest point of the battlefield is the entrance to Abyss.

From there, you can enter the true Abyss.

There are no longer historical records of when Abyss appeared. The only thing that is known is when Abyss appeared, mankind was subjected to a large scale offensive, marking the beginning of this war.

In the eyes of humanity, Abyss is synonymous with evil, destruction, and death.

It is an enemy of the entire human race.

The farther you are from the fortresses, the more monsters you will encounter.

The Battlefield Specters roam this place full of destruction and death, aimless, attacking every person they see. Humans and Abyssal Demons alike are their enemies.

Thanks to the harsh environment, the sedimentation of blood and flesh, and the pollution of Abyss’s power for thousands of years, Dimensional Battlefield is filled with various peculiar monsters.

Among them, there is a kind of monster with two mouths on its head, resembling a stray dog.

They are extremely fast and feral, and they alternately spray out flames from their two mouths, as if Mages.

There is also a kind of monster made entirely of stone, wrapped in the blood of the battlefield.

They are surrounded by elemental particles of various types, giving them a strong resistance to elemental attacks.

Lin Moyu had 10 Skeletal Mages to attack one such monster.

It took a full minute to kill it.

There are too many monsters like this on Dimensional Battlefield.

Even if they are all cleared, they will quickly respawn,

As he advanced forward, Lin Moyu occasionally encountered human parties along the way.

These parties were not only from Shenxia Empire, but also from other nations.

They all showed looks of surprise when they saw Lin Moyu.

People going solo isn’t commonly seen on Dimensional Battlefield.

However, upon seeing the skeletons next to Lin Moyu, things finally made sense.

”In another half an hour, I should be able to reach the dungeon.”

Lin Moyu has been traveling for over two hours.

Ahead, the mist surged like crazy. Lin Moyu immediately became alert.

Three people ran out of the mist.

Knight, Archer, and Prophet.

The three people ran helter-skelter, as if they were fleeing for their lives.

The mist surged more violently, as if there were more things coming.

The fleeing Knight saw Lin Moyu and shouted loudly, ”Run! There are Abyssal Demons behind!”
