Necromancer: I Am A Disaster

Xia Xue was very surprised.

It’s rare for Lin Moyu to speak so much.

Lin Moyu seems to be up to something.

Xia Xue is familiar with Lin Moyu and aware that it is not that he can’t speak, but that he doesn’t like to speak much.

Seeing as he is talking a lot, there must be a special reason.

It appears that there’s something between this guy called Ling Zhen and Lin Moyu.

The ball was kicked into Ling Zhen’s court.

Ling Zhen began to hesitate.

Everyone looked at him, waiting for his response.

He initiated the challenge, yet now it seems that he isn’t willing to proceed.

Lin Moyu asked, ”You don’t dare?”

After being provoked, Ling Zhen found it difficult to stop halfway. If he didn’t agree, it will be a complete loss of face.

Ling Zhen thought of his hidden card and gritted his teeth, saying, ”Why wouldn’t I dare? Let’s do it.”

The crowd began to head toward the academy arena.

The big shots hidden in the sky chuckled.

Meng Anwen shook his head and said, ”This guy is a total fool.”

Bai Yiyuan smiled and said, ”What an idiot. On the battlefield, such people are the first to die. They’re just cannon fodder.”

”Not only are they cannon fodder, but they may even throw their party under the bus during dungeon raids.”

”To rashly agree without even knowing the opponent’s limits, this guy is beyond salvage.”

According to the two, Ling Zhen is a good-for-nothing.

Ning Tairan said, ”He’s done for. Even if he takes out his family’s fortune, it won’t be enough to cover the wager.”

Bai Yiyuan smiled and said, ”I wonder how many points Young Lin has.”

Ning Tairan thought for a moment and said, ”At least 300,000.”

”That many?” Bai Yiyuan was stupefied.

Even institute students who deal with dungeon missions on a daily basis may not be able to earn 300,000 points.

This is not a small amount.

Meng Anwen smiled and said, ”He’s a small-time tycoon.”

The crowd arrived at the martial arena.

There were already a lot of people in the martial arena, all of whom were senior students.

Aware of the display that comes after the opening ceremony, they have arrived beforehand, waiting for the show to start.

At the same time, the academy Healers were also ready.

The martial arena’s formation activated, and a light screen enveloped the stage.

”In the first match, Yu Fei will be facing Su Nianda.”

Next followed the introduction of the two.

Coincidentally, both are Spren Archer class users.

Yu Fei is from Feilong Institute and is level 24.

Su Nianda is the Heijiang Province top scorer and is level 16.

Both entered the stage with a set of ordinary bow and arrows -- without any attribute buffs.

Under the formation’s suppression, Yu Fei’s level quickly dropped to level 16.

All skills above level 20 have been sealed.

Everything was set with level 16 as template.

Although his level is the same as Su Nianda’s, but Yu Fei has a relaxed expression, not the least bit worried.

On the other hand, Su Nianda appears to be a bit nervous.

Yu Fei said with a light smile, ”Junior, I’m going to start!”

”Okay. I’ll be in your care, Senior.”

His words have just fallen, when a thump rose, and an arrow ejected out lightning fast.

Su Nianda quickly dodged to the side and began a counterattack.

But when he pulled the bow string, he couldn’t find Yu Fei in front of him.

Where did he go? Su Nianda thought.

Suddenly, he felt a chill transmit from behind. There is a dagger touching his neck.

Yu Fei had already arrived behind him.

To see an Archer to use a dagger, this took Su Nianda by surprise.

”We Archers have the skill Flash Lunge. You’re too careless, Junior.”

Yu Fei stepped back with a smile. He pulled open the distance between them, giving Su Nianda another chance.

If he hadn’t stopped just now, Su Nianda would have been either severely injured or killed.

Su Nianda chose to attack first this time.

After taking aim, he drew his bow and released the arrow, his eyes locked on Yu Fei.

At the same time, Yu Fei also released an arrow.

Skill: Triple Shot!

One arrow became three. The first arrow accurately blocked Su Nianda’s arrow.

The other two arrows shot straight ahead.

Su Nianda’s complexion changed greatly, and he dodged to the side.

At this moment, Yu Fei drew his bow again.

Skill: Shoot Magic Arrow.

This time it is not a real arrow, but a magic arrow formed from a skill.

The magic arrow is much faster than a real arrow. When Su Nianda dodged, the magic arrow had already arrived and hit accurately.

Su Nianda took a few steps back and let out a wretched scream.

Yu Fei mercilessly released several arrows in a row.

Su Nianda dodged awkwardly. He was quickly hit by another arrow.

”I admit defeat!”

Su Nianda quickly threw in the towel and surrendered.

Yu Fei smiled and said, ”Junior, we Archers aren’t merely required to shoot arrows from behind Knights. We also need to learn to face enemies by ourselves. After all, we will have to face more than just dungeon monsters in the future.”

”You won’t always have Knights standing in front of you.”

Su Nianda bowed sincerely, ”Thank you, Senior. I have learned much from you.”

This is the effect that the academy wishes to produce.

By allowing new students to know themselves, it is beneficial for their future development.

One match after another took place.

The senior students basically all had crushing victories.

After all, they have gone through actual combat many times, learned various combat techniques, and honed the ability to use skills. New students can’t compare to them.

Xia Xue also accepted a challenge and lost very badly.

Despite being faced with a Mage of the same level as her, she was suppressed from start to finish, and finally had to surrender.

Xia Xue stamped her feet, a defiant look on her face, ”I won’t admit defeat. If I am given time, I will definitely surpass him in the future.”

Zuo Mei said, ”It’s okay. I also lost. I’ll accompany you [1].”

”Mei, you’re the best.”

...

She’ll compensate for the loss [1]?

Feng Xiu can’t understand the mind of women. The same is true for Lin Moyu.

The two exchanged a look and shook their heads.

The mind of girls is really peculiar.

”Next match, Ling Zhen will be facing Lin Moyu.”

Lin Moyu responded and walked out.

Xia Xue cheered from behind, ”Dummy Lin, give him hell.”

She has ample confidence in Lin Moyu.

The two went onto the stage at the same time.

At this time, their information was revealed.

Ling Zhen, Baili Institute, level 21, Warlock.

Lin Moyu, imperial top scorer, level 22, Necromancer.

Murmur!

Everyone looked at Lin Moyu in unison.

Imperial top scorer.

New student.

Level 22.

The key point is level 22.

They have seen imperial top scorers before, so they didn’t find this part surprising.

But a level 22 new student, that’s something they’ve never seen before.

That’s beyond rare.

”It’s him, the one who set new records in Dungeon Hall.”

”Right, he was also called Lin Moyu. So it’s the same person.”

”Not only that. He has also been carrying people through Tyrant these past couple of days. In fact, he carried 39 people each time by himself.”

”He charged 1,000 points per person, that’s 39,000 points per dungeon raid. He must have earned a lot.”

”There’s a good show to watch. If Lin Moyu wins, Ling Zhen will be strapped for points.”

”To be able to see such a great show, it was worth coming here.”

The crowd discussed fervently.

Everyone watched with anticipation, as if waiting for a good play to develop.

Due to the formation, which shrouded the stage, the two people on the stage couldn’t hear any sounds coming from the outside.

Ling Zhen sneered and said, ”Lin Moyu, in front of me, an imperial top scorer is nothing.”

Lin Moyu said flatly, ”Your level is lower than mine.”

Ling Zhen’s countenance changed. Lin Moyu stated a fact.

He continued, ”Since I was a child, I had excellent aptitude. I was admitted into the academy to be nurtured, and then joined an institute. I am a genius that the likes of you can’t compare to.”

Lin Moyu said again, ”Your level is lower than mine.”

Ling Zhen’s expression became even more unsightly, ”Your class is powerful, so what? You were just lucky. On the battlefield, combat sense is more important.”

”Your level is lower than mine.” Lin Moyu repeated indifferently once again.

Ling Zhen nearly blew his top, ”Didn’t your mother teach you how to talk properly?”

Lin Moyu’s expression changed. He had no mother -- neither in his previous life nor in this life.

Murderous intent surged in his eyes.

Ling Zhen was startled by Lin Moyu’s gaze.

That’s the same look as last time in Dungeon Hall.

Lin Moyu really wants to kill him.

However...

Ling Zhen sneered, ”Aren’t you just relying on the summoning and corpse detonation skills? If there are no corpses around and summoning skills can’t be used, won’t you be no different from trash?”

”If it weren’t for the fact that we’re at the academy, you would have died already.”

A Skeletal Warrior appeared next to Lin Moyu.

The skeleton charged toward Ling Zhen and brandished a large blade.

All of a sudden, a charm appeared in Ling Zhen’s hand, and then he crushed it.

A gentle breeze blew past, and the Skeletal Warrior faded away.

Lin Moyu found that his skills seem to have been sealed.

He can no longer summon his skeletons.

Ling Zhen laughed out loud and said, ”See that? This is a charm called Seal Summon Charm, and it is specifically used to deal with Summoners.”

”Since you can no longer use your summoning skills and there are no corpses here, you’re no different from dead weight.”

At this moment, Ling Zhen raised his staff, and flames rose in the air, ”Tremble in fear. Even though I can’t kill you, but I can still engrave the pain of being burned in your heart.”

He wanted to see panic on Lin Moyu’s face. It’s a shame, but Lin Moyu’s face remained calm, registering no change.

In the sky, Ning Tairan said in a low voice, ”This Ling Zhen is playing dirty. He actually used a Seal Summon Charm that specifically targets Summoners.”

Meng Anwen said, ”Seal Summon Charm is an intermediate rank item. It isn’t something that a guy like him can obtain.”

Ning Tairan said, ”It seems that there is someone behind Ling Zhen who wants to take Lin Moyu down.”

Bai Yiyuan wasn’t worried in the least, ”They think that Young Lin only has summoning skills, but they’re dead wrong. Let’s keep watching. He will pay for this.”

On the stage, Lin Moyu said indifferently, ”Ignorant fool.”

He pressed his palm down, and a Bone Armor appeared on him.

At this time, Ling Zhen’s attack arrived. Flames landed Lin Moyu.
