STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer

Shadow Moon Organisation:

It didn’t take long for the staff to learn the truth. They got it from one of the 10th team members. Sinag and the new member Jeremy were able to complete the mission successfully.

But the rest of the members all died under the Corrupted beasts’ attacks. Especially the Sun Wheel Organisation’s members, who became food for the corrupted beasts.

This news came as a bolt out of the blue. It was shocking to them. They immediately felt something fishy. It’s possible that both of them killed the Sun Wheel Organisation members.

But the staff immediately rejected it. They knew the Tier-3 Beast Tamers of the Sun Wheel Organisation were elite. They needed an equal number of forces to deal with them.

So most of them thought it was the work of the corrupted beasts. It didn’t take long for this matter to fade away from people’s minds.

Time passed,

The other team members of the 10th team learned about Jeremy Night and Captain Sinag Clark’s mission. They had directly learned from their Captain Sinag, who was resting in her room.

Sinag didn’t tell them everything. She maintained the fact that the rest of the beast tamers died at the hands of the corrupted beasts.

They were all eager to perform the next mission together, especially with the newcomer Jeremy Night. They had witnessed his strength before.

When he first appeared to slaughter the hybrid beasts, they believed that it would be a matter of time before their 10th team became famous.

14th Zone, City A:

A few days later,

The first-year students started to discuss the disappearance of Jeremy Night. It has now become evident that Jeremy Night was not on their campus at all.

No one had seen him. The matter has brought great relief to the senior students and their families. They were all under pressure because of the STRIKER Department.

They didn’t know what happened to Jeremy Night since he was not there. Everyone thought it would be a matter of time before the STRIKER Department collapsed.

Not only were they discussing it, but even the two major shareholders were demanding answers from Dean Carolyn: the Knox and the Heath Families.

They wanted to know whether it was their fault or not. They didn’t want the backers behind Jeremy Night to be at fault with their two families.

Dean Carolyn had asked for some time. She didn’t want to tell the news to the public right away. She was still holding onto the hope that Jeremy Night would return.

She knew how tough the 10th Zone was in reality. The organisations there wouldn’t mind the infighting. Jeremy Night’s life would be under constant danger.

STRIKER Department:

Danile Stone and Betsy Lowe were looking at Instructor Jacob for the truth. They were not speculating anything more. Earlier, both of them had thought Jeremy Night went to the wilderness for training.

But more than a week passed, and Jeremy Night hadn’t returned, which showed that he was not on their campus at all.

Jacob Henry sighed inwardly. He knew that it was impossible for him to hide for that long. His gaze fell on them.

He said, ”He is doing fine. Nothing has happened to him. But I can’t tell you anything more than that without Dean Carolyn’s order.”

Hearing that, Danile Stone felt disappointed. He was expecting this answer. If Instructor Jacob wanted to tell them, he would have done it before.

Betsy Lowe remained silent. She couldn’t help but recall some events. Everything had changed when Jeremy Night revealed his strength during their wilderness trip at that time.

If Jeremy Night was doing well, it meant he was busy with some other matter. What could it be? Betsy Lowe was curious.

”Don’t worry, I think it won’t be long before the Dean tells everyone,” Henry said before continuing the class.

Meanwhile,

May Lindsey had confirmed that Jeremy Night was not on campus as well. But she also received the news that Jeremy Night’s parents were still living in City C as usual.

This indicates that nothing bad had happened to him. However, she couldn’t help but think of other possibilities. She didn’t know why she thought that Jeremy Night might be doing something important.

Even their families didn’t have clues about his whereabouts. It was extremely strange. They could find anything in their Zone 14, but they couldn’t find a trace of Jeremy Night.

May Lindsey thought that if she wanted any direct answers, only Jeremy Night’s parents could provide them. There was no way to go to City C, so she dismissed the thoughts.

On the other hand, Victor Scott had no clue as well. His classmates were asking him about the news, but he himself didn’t know anything about it.

”He disappeared like smoke. What happened to him?” Victor Scott thought.

He had even asked his family elders, but they hadn’t found anything so far. Victor thought of Jeremy’s parents as well, but he didn’t think about asking them.

He thought sooner or later everyone would know the truth.

City C:

Night Mansion:

Night fell, and Ron Night and Nora Night were discussing their son. They had the opportunity to move out, but they didn’t leave. They both knew that the 10th Zone was different from the 14th Zone.

Their strength was at its peak here. They could protect themselves and others. But in the 10th Zone, the situation was different. With their power, they couldn’t protect themselves.

But they had told Leader Gisela that they would come to the 10th Zone once the appointment was made, so they had to stay here until then.

”Are you sure about leaving your city governor job?” Nora asked.

Hearing that, Ron Night replied, ”Yes, we have to stand behind our son. If we decide to stay here, our son won’t be able to concentrate. Once we live in the 10th Zone City, he will set aside his worries and focus on his new organisation and work.”

Nora remained silent, but they were used to living here, so she didn’t know what kind of life awaited them there.
