STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer

City A - 10th Zone:

Sun Wheel Organisation:

The news of a new recruit to the Shadow Moon Organisation spreads across the Sun Wheel Organisation. The organisation is located in the western part of the city.

Whereas the Shadow Moon Organisation is located in the eastern part. The whole city knows about the rivalry between them. They fight secretly inside the city and openly fight outside in the wilderness.

The Sun Wheel Organisation has a large membership. But compared to the few members of the Shadow Moon Organisation, their overall strength is not strong.

So the competition between them is going on severely. The Sun Wheel Organisation higher-ups have placed a bounty on the heads of the members of the Shadow Moon Organisation.

Whenever their beast tamers get the opportunity, they do their best to kill their rivals. The same thing is happening on the side of the Shadow Moon Organisation.

Now that the Shadow Moon Organisation has a new member, he was added to their killing list, especially after learning about the new member’s identity. They have even increased the reward even more.

The new addition to the killing list has caused a stir among the members. They are curious about the new target named Jeremy Night.

After learning that it was the same kid who had caused a shock among the top 10 zones, the members are in disbelief. They didn’t expect it was the same kid who had killed Tier-4 Corrupted Beasts at Tier-1 level.

The S-Graders were especially shocked because they don’t have members at such a young age. The youngest beast tamer was a third-year dropout student.

But the Shadow Moon Organisation has recruited this first-year student. They are curious. Slightly older members have decided to test the strength of Jeremy Night later.

Meanwhile,

The locals in City A have also heard about the news because the local reporters have reported it. So those who have watched the news now know that there is one more member in the Shadow Moon Organisation.

...

Shadow Moon Organisation:

A few days passed,

Gisela Reyes was able to convince Jeremy Night’s parents to move out. However, Gisela found out there was one difficulty. It’s not easy to resign from the post of City Governor. It would take time.

The Human Alliance would select the next candidate. Until then, Ron Night has to work. In the end, Gisela decided to report the news to the Head.

For Jeremy Night’s parents, she thinks the Head will make arrangements. When she returned, she didn’t even go to see Jeremy Night.

Rather, she went to meet the Head of the Organisation.

...

Inside the practice chamber:

Jeremy Night has been practicing the breathing method since his arrival here. He didn’t think about anything else. He is sitting cross-legged on the platform right now. He is using the Inner Healing Method.

The unknown egg lifeline beast has been continuously absorbing the natural energy from the surroundings. Ever since it sensed the changes in the environment, the unknown beast egg has been continuously sucking the natural energy.

A few minutes later,

Click!

The unknown beast crossed its limit. It has reached the next stage. The next second, it stopped absorbing the natural energy. Instead, it is preparing to give feedback.

Jeremy notices the changes. He is happy in his heart. Like he had guessed, his progress was faster here. If it were the 14th zone, the breakthrough would take another week.

Not only did he notice changes in the lifeline beast by practicing here, but he also discovered something about himself. His body has been greedily absorbing the natural energy here.

Usually, he feels this kind of sensation at the forbidden area, but he is experiencing it here. His physique is getting strengthened because of the healing energy. It’s equivalent to removing hidden dangers.

The next second, he felt the feedback energy coming from the lifeline beast. It’s now transforming his physique again.

His body is greedily absorbing the feedback energy. Now he is starting to evolve. His eyesight, hearing, and other senses become a little stronger.

A few minutes later,

Click!

Tier-2, 2nd Rank - Early stage.

The limit that his physique had been under was broken. Now it has reached the 2nd Rank, feeling the energy coursing through his body.

Jeremy’s mouth curves into an arc. He thinks it won’t be long before he touches the peak. After pushing down those thoughts, he focuses on stabilizing his strength.

The feedback energy was stopped. Now he starts running the Inner Healing Method again.

Head Office:

”It’s going to be tricky. Now all the organisations are aware of that kid’s new status as a Shadow Moon Organisation member.”

”I thought his father would get a quick transfer. Since there is a difficulty, I’ll send a retired elder over there for their safety.”

”I don’t think the hostile forces would send beast tamers above Tier-7,” Oldman Neil said in a serious tone.

Hearing that, Gisela sighed in relief.

Oldman Neil then thought of something before saying, ”That kid has never left his room. He must be waiting for you. Take him around the city and the wilderness.”

”He should know about the city and the dangerous places surrounding us,” he added.

Hearing that, Gisela replied, ”Okay.”

”Good, you can leave. You can start giving missions to the kid. Only then can he get resources,” he said.

Gisela nodded to him before standing up to leave.

Creak!

She then exited the room and started going towards Jeremy Night’s location. She was not surprised by Jeremy Night’s behavior. Anyone would have trouble adapting to a new place.

She knows that the other team leaders and staff learned about Jeremy Night. They can’t wait to meet and talk to him.

Soon, she arrived in front of his room. She then sent a message to his device.

Inside the practice room, Jeremy’s concentration was disturbed by the buzzing sound. However, he continued to practice. He wants to stabilize his new stage first.

Gisela was confused. After waiting for a few minutes, she left after sending a message.
