STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer

City A:

The news about Jeremy Night is spreading shockwaves among the beast tamer communities in City A. The wizard families who were working against the STRIKER Department earlier are facing difficulties right now.

Even though most of them stopped their activities after the statement released by Central University 14, there were still some families that had paid mercenaries to cause damage during the university students’ wilderness training.

Those families are panicking right now.

The paid mercenaries miserably failed in their plans, and now the families are exposed to the shocking secret about Jeremy Night. If they had known about Jeremy Night’s talent and strength, they wouldn’t have bothered to trouble him.

Now they understand why the dean and a few major beast taming families are supporting Jeremy Night. But it’s too late to regret. They are fortunate that at least their deeds have not been exposed.

The paid mercenaries did a good thing by not getting directly involved. They relied on banned drugs to create problems. But these families and paid mercenaries didn’t know Jeremy Night had found out that the beast attacks were man-made.

Time passed.

It didn’t take long for the news to reach the ears of the three City Governors. City Governor Elton was the first one to hear from Dean Carolyn.

He was shocked. He never expected such talent to appear in their 14th zone. It was great news; they could contribute to the Human Alliance. Then Elton learned about the experiences of Jeremy Night.

After knowing that it was the same kid who had done well during the beast invasion, he was shocked inside. He was surprised by the kid’s progress.

Elton came to know about some of the beast taming families’ actions as well. He knew about Dean Carolyn’s STRIKER Program. She is revitalizing an old department.

But he didn’t expect the beast taming families’ clutches had extended that far to disrupt the operations of Central University 14.

He has decided to take action against them because Dean Carolyn had already sent a report to the Human Alliance. If someone at the Human Alliance sees it, they would definitely ask the three City Governors.

It’s already great for them to keep their positions after the beast invasion. They are so close to being replaced by others. Elton doesn’t want this problem to become larger.

So he ordered the City Administration Investigation team to solve the issue.

Meanwhile,

The beast taming families in City A don’t know what’s coming for them.

As time passes, the news reaches other cities under the 14th zone, including City C, where Jeremy’s father is one of the City Governors. He was shocked by the news.

More importantly, Jeremy’s parents both knew that Jeremy was recruited into one of the 10th zone’s organizations. He would leave soon. Now that such news has come out, they are now more confident and relieved about their son’s future.

...

The following day:

The news travels fast. The Human Alliance and the big organizations in all the top 10 zones have received the news. The major news outlets in each zone have reported on this.

There is a 1st-year student who killed 2 Tier-4 Corrupted beasts in his first year studies. That too without bringing his Lifeline beasts to assist him. He made a solo kill.

The news has created shockwaves among the public after the broadcast. Each major organization in the top 10 zones has ordered investigations to find out more about Jeremy Night.

While they are doing that, the Human Alliance’s higher-ups are not without clues. A few of them took part in the meeting of the genius list review. The name Jeremy Night was familiar to them.

They have rejected Jeremy Night’s profile on the basis of A-Grade Talent, incomplete Lifeline beasts’ information, and body-type talent.

Now this news comes out as a slap in the face for them. They have recruited all the top S-Grade and special A-Grade Talents into the genius list.

But none of their achievements can be compared to Jeremy Night’s feat. No one had the record of killing 2 Tier-4 Corrupted beasts solo.

The news has unsettled the powerful beast tamers who usually fight on the front line battlefield because they know the importance of talent and strength.

Especially those who can fight across tiers. They understand the importance of Jeremy Night to the Human Alliance. He could become a powerful Tier-7 or Tier-8 beast tamer in the future.

With Jeremy Night’s current ability to fight across tiers, if the kid reaches Tier-6 or Tier-7 at least, then he might have the strength to fight against Tier-8 Corrupted Beasts.

Those who participated in that meeting, some are outside and some are at the headquarters. They are now discussing convening an emergency meeting to solve this problem.

Jeremy Night’s performance has proven that he can be added to the genius list.

...

Shadow Moon Organization:

Team Leader Gisela Reyes got the news as well. She was extremely shocked to the core. The news was so shocking that she checked the facts multiple times.

After confirming that it was the same kid, she was truly impressed. She didn’t expect that the kid whose discarded profile was in their meeting hall could achieve something this significant.

Such a feat not even all the S-Graders can pull off. Gisela felt she made a huge profit by recruiting Jeremy Night into her team.

Now all the elders and team leaders would learn about this news. They would be deeply regretting. She recruited Jeremy Night into her team to handle the City administration missions.

For that, it requires Tier-3 strength. But Jeremy Night has already surpassed that level. He can even take more special tasks with high commissions in the future.

Gisela wanted to share the good news with the Head of the Organization, Neil Moon.

She went to his office. Upon arrival, she saw a few others waiting to meet him. They were none other than other faction leaders.

”Gisela, you have hit the jackpot,” a middle-aged brown-haired person said with envy.
