STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer

Old factory site:

Jeremy quickly arrived at the spot where the sound was coming from. He then saw 10 warriors inside one room. They were blocking the path to one room.

He could hear voices coming from the room. Jeremy’s expression changed drastically. He doubted Romeo Barrett was locked up inside.

”These senior students,” his eyes flickered. He held the katana tightly because he could hear that they were slandering him.

He understood that it was a game to lure him here. He didn’t know what to say. If he barged into the place, he might have to fight against the senior students.

”What to do?” Jeremy asked himself.

Buzz!

The next second, his digital device started ringing.

”Who is it?” Billy blurted out.

Timothy’s expression changed as well. The next second, they saw someone standing outside the door.

”Jeremy Night!” Billy stood up from his chair.

”He...He...He...the rat has taken the bait,” Timothy stood up as well.

The rest of the 8 Beast Tamers turned to face Jeremy Night.

”Damn it,” I cursed.

Then I saw the contact name on the digital device and answered the call.

”Jeremy, where are you?” Old man Derek’s voice sounded.

”Stop him from leaking the whereabouts,” Billy shouted.

Swoosh!

The next second, everyone rushed out towards Jeremy Night.

On the other hand, I turned around to flee.

”Elder, I’m at the old factory site close to our university. I have already found Romeo Barrett here. The students from the 2nd and 3rd years have done this,” I replied on the call while I was going downstairs.

I could feel the breath of people following me from behind. Fortunately, they couldn’t bring their lifeline beasts inside the building. Otherwise, the whole structure would collapse.

Swoosh!

Timothy and Billy were leading the chase. If they allowed Jeremy Night to get to the street, then they could only watch him leave.

The whole setup was to lure him inside.

Romeo Barrett was unaware of what was going on outside. He had only heard some noise.

Shortly afterward,

Jeremy walked out of the building. He could understand the plans of these people. They couldn’t deal with him inside the university. So they had lured him here.

But he thought it was their dumbest plan. They could have attacked him in the wilderness. It was safer.

”Stop it right there!”

Roar!

He heard a loud shout followed by a roar.

Jeremy turned around and saw a blue tiger getting closer to him.

”Explosive Steps!”

He used the movement technique to evade and retreat from the place. In the blink of an eye, he widened the gap and got a good look at the lifeline beast.

”Tier-3 Lifeline Beast,” Jeremy uttered.

He could see that it was the Lifeline Beast of a 3rd Year student.

Roar!

The Blue Tiger, over 9 ft in height, roared at him. It was ready to act at any time.

Swoosh!

The next second, the 3rd year student Timothy appeared in front of his Lifeline Beast. His eyes flashed with a cold glint as he looked at Jeremy Night.

Billy and the others appeared next to him one by one. There were 10 Beast Tamers in total ready to go against Jeremy Night.

Billy’s eyes flickered before bringing out his lifeline beast.

BROOOOH!

A huge black elephant beast appeared with a trumpet sound. It was a Tier-2 Lifeline Beast. The body of the elephant was over 15ft. It was taller than the Blue Tiger.

Billy revealed a cunning smile on his face. He gestured for the others not to bring out their lifeline beasts. Two of their Lifeline Beasts were enough.

Otherwise, the appearance of more lifeline beasts might attract the attention of outsiders.

Jeremy Night was surprised inwardly because he saw rare beasts today. The Black Elephant and Blue Tiger were not native to their zone.

They were not seen in their wilderness as well. But these two people were able to contract such species. His eyes narrowed.

Jeremy could tell that their backgrounds were not ordinary.

Timothy and Billy looked at each other. They too felt that they were running out of time.

”Jeremy Night, come with us!”

”Otherwise, our lifeline beasts will shred you into pieces,” Billy said in a cold tone.

He didn’t want to waste any more time.

”You are just a first-year student. If you follow us inside, then we will make it easy for you,” Timothy cracked a wide grin.

Jeremy was looking at the seniors with a solemn look. It would be a piece of cake for him to take them down. But considering their background, if he fought them recklessly, then he could face consequences.

This type of reckless street fighting was banned in the city. They were from the university as well. It might damage the reputation of the university.

Since he had disclosed the location to the elder, he was going to wait for him to arrive.

Swoosh!

Jeremy rushed toward the gate. In the blink of an eye, he got there.

Roar! BROOOOH!

The two lifeline beasts let out a sound. The faces of everyone changed drastically. They thought they were going to pressure Jeremy Night.

But Jeremy Night was making things difficult for them.

”We don’t have any choice!”

”Let’s use our lifeline beasts to catch him,” Billy said in a cold tone.

Swoosh!

The next second, the rest of them brought their lifeline beasts outside. One after another, lifeline beasts appeared beside their Beast Tamers.

Among them, there was a flying type lifeline beast as well. It was a Giant Sparrow.

Swoosh!

The Tier-3 Giant Sparrow gave chase. It wanted to catch the target with its claws.

Jeremy Night’s expression worsened. He then exited the gate using the explosive steps and quickly came to the empty street. The Giant Sparrow was right behind him.

His heart turned cold. If he wanted, he could cleave the Tier-3 Bird in two. But he was thinking about the big picture.

The senior students were acting unscrupulously. Their background must be terrifying.
