STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer

City A:

Javier found out that he couldn’t reach his men anymore. He had previously ordered them to go after the kid. So far, there is no information from them. Obviously, he was worried about them.

He wonders whether they have been caught by anyone. He has found out their last connection was severed in the wilderness. At least he knows that they had gone to the wilderness.

So he has decided to send another team to find out their news. His heart wanted to mobilize the entire team in the security firm. But he knows the city administration is conducting an investigation.

Any massive actions could attract their attention. His master was already facing trouble. He doesn’t want to add a few more problems for him.

..

Central University 14:

The following day,

After getting ready, Jeremy left the dormitory. He was on his way to the department building when he came across a group of people.

He recognized a few of the faces among them. The students were from the Attack Department. After his win against their Department Representative, Romeo Barrett, he hadn’t had any interaction with them.

The Attack Department Beast Tamers were minding their own business as well. He wondered what had happened now.

A group of ten people came up to him. Jeremy swept his gaze across everyone.

He asked, ”What now?”

Among them, those who were familiar with Jeremy Night stepped forward. One of the black-haired beast tamers opened his mouth.

”We received a message from our Representative. He is facing trouble right now,” he said.

”Trouble?”

”If Romeo Barrett is facing trouble, you guys should inform your Instructor. Why bother me?” Jeremy asked.

He had genuine confusion on his mind.

The Black-Haired Beast Tamer looked at his friends before saying, ”The 2nd Year Seniors have blocked Romeo from entering the university. Right now, they have taken him somewhere to teach him a lesson.”

Hearing that, Jeremy’s heart set off storms. He didn’t expect the second years to have this kind of guts. He could understand what this was about.

”Was he being targeted because of me?” Jeremy asked.

A female beast tamer said, ”Yes, the senior students are dissatisfied with us. They can’t believe you are the strongest among the representatives.”

”They are venting out their anger on our representative right now because he lost the duel against you,” she added.

Jeremy understood. He doubted the University would respond to this situation quickly. He decided to help out Romeo Barrett.

”Where is he right now?”

”Did he send any clues?” Jeremy asked.

”He has sent pictures from the old factory site. Romeo was the one who requested help from you,” the female beast tamer said.

”Old factory site?” Jeremy frowned.

If he could get information about this digital device, he could request the city administration to track his location. But that’s a long process.

Suddenly, he remembered the store that buys and sells information. He believed they must know about such shady locations.

”Okay, I’m going to find him. You guys should inform your department instructor next.” After saying that, Jeremy left the place.

The group of Attack Department beast tamers sighed in relief. They were worried that Jeremy Night would show no response.

Now, they had a better impression of Jeremy Night. They didn’t have hatred like their senior students. They clearly knew about Jeremy Night’s strength.

Jeremy Night could defeat May Lindsey, who is an S-Grade Talent. So their Department Representative’s loss was justified. It’s just that their senior students are not accepting the fact.

”Let’s go and inform our instructor!”

”The senior students only know how to bully us.”

The group of beast tamers then vacated the place.

On the other hand, Jeremy walked out of the University. He came to the street and started to think about it. He worried if there was any conspiracy behind it.

Considering the things happening in City A, he couldn’t trust anyone. So he called Instructor Jacob. When the call was connected, he immediately told him about the matter.

Jacob Henry was shocked. He immediately warned Jeremy Night not to involve himself in this matter since it’s related to the Attack Department. He advised him to let them handle it.

But Jeremy refused. He thought if he didn’t help out Romeo Barrett, this would create a bad atmosphere among the first years. He didn’t want that to happen.

Since Romeo Barrett himself requested help, he thought it was okay to get involved in this matter. Jacob Henry could only sigh. He didn’t know what had happened to the senior students of the Attack Department.

In the end, he agreed with Jeremy’s words. Since they were from the same University, it was necessary to help each other.

Jeremy ended the call and sighed in relief. He had thought Instructor Jacob was like others who wanted to avoid trouble. In the end, it was proven that Jacob Henry had a soft heart.

Jeremy then booked a flying taxi. He was sure that the senior students wouldn’t go to the length of killing a person. He thought they would torture Romeo Barrett for a bit.

Soon, the flying taxi arrived. He entered the car and told the driver to go to the market. The flying car hovered above the ground, then it turned around and started moving toward the destination.

Meanwhile,

Jacob Henry couldn’t keep the information to himself. So he immediately informed the First Year Department Head, Derek Gibson.

Old man Derek had been avoiding the limelight ever since he put Jeremy Night and others in the path of danger. After that, he hadn’t dared to meet Jeremy Night. He had been planning to compensate them.

When Jacob Henry told him about the latest incident, he couldn’t believe his ears. Then he confronted the Attack Department Instructor, who immediately revealed the truth.

Old man Derek was shocked. He didn’t know where the courage of the senior students came from.

”You wait for me here. I’ll go and talk to Dean Carolyn.” After saying that, old man Derek left his office.

Jacob Henry touched his forehead. He didn’t know why one trouble after another kept arising.
