Dean’s Office:

”I apologize once again. This won’t happen again,” Hudson said.

”Okay, you can leave now,” Carolyn accepted his apology.

Hudson then stood up and nodded at Jacob and Ariel before leaving. Though he was embarrassed earlier, he was glad that the outcome ended in his favor.

When he was gone from the room, Dean Carolyn looked at Jacob and Ariel.

”You guys can start reporting,” she said.

Hearing that, Jacob started first. He was the one who had received a text message from Jeremy Night. So he began to speak.

Starting from when he heard Jeremy Night was sought by the 1st Year Attack Department for help.

About 10 minutes later,

Carolyn figured out the ins and outs of this whole matter. The 2nd year students were clever in seeking help from the 1st years.

But it’s a pity that they had failed to judge Jeremy Night’s combat strength. He can hunt and kill Corrupted Tier-3 Beasts.

So the 1st Years and 2nd Years are no match for him.

”Dean, would you make this incident public?” Ariel asked.

Hearing that, Carolyn collected her thoughts before replying, ”Unfortunately, it won’t be made public anytime soon. This matter needs approval from the Human Alliance.”

”If the incident is made public, the news will hit the businesses hard. Then it might cause chaos and unrest among the people,” she added.

Ariel nodded her head. This was not the first time this was happening. Every time the powerful families do something wrong, it’s rarely published to the outside world.

In most cases, it was swept under the rug.

”Jacob, what are you thinking?” Carolyn asked.

Ariel turned towards him as well.

Jacob said, ”Dean, I’m wondering whether Jeremy would tell his parents or not.”

Sigh!

”I’m thinking about it as well. If he makes the news public, then it won’t sit well with shareholders. It might affect the image of our university.”

”Forget about Heath; the Knox Family won’t like it. I don’t want Jeremy Night to offend any of these top and elite families.”

”Some of them are really not afraid of angering the Human Alliance,” Carolyn said in a helpless tone.

The faces of Ariel and Jacob changed drastically. Jacob had still underestimated the seriousness of the issue. They had handled it well.

But the same cannot be said for Jeremy Night and his parents.

”Dean, give me permission. I’m going to talk to them,” Jacob asked.

Carolyn’s eyes flickered.

”Dean, believe me. I’ll convince them not to talk about this incident,” Jacob assured her again.

At this time, Ariel said, ”Dean, if you allow me, I’ll be joining him as well. We will go to the Night Family and convince them.”

Carolyn thought for a moment before agreeing to them. Then they spoke for a few minutes before leaving.

Jacob and Ariel didn’t inform Jeremy Night. They used the Giant Eagle to travel.

Meanwhile,

Right after, the Dean heard the news. The shareholders heard the news as well. They are the Heath and Knox Families.

In the 3rd Year Department Building, Violet Heath got the news. She was reading her text messages. Most of them were intel about the things happening in and around the campus.

She saw one of them mentioning patrol guards taking captured people to the cell. At first, she was confused; it’s normal for rule breakers to appear.

But when she read the identities of the captured people, she was shocked. They were 2nd year students. She immediately contacted her family.

Then they told her about the cruel plot planned by the Medium-Sized Families. Violet Heath didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

The stupid actions of these families were beyond her imagination. The Medium-Sized Families were suppressed by the top families above them. They were always looking for ways to break the hold.

Which, in some cases, led them to do drastic activities. One of them has happened now. This time they had kicked an iron plate.

She knew that Jeremy Night was not an ordinary talent. His information was kept confidential under the orders of the Human Alliance.

Her family, the Knox Family, and the Dean were sure that there was something more to this, which they were not allowed to know.

It was not just because of Jeremy Night’s Governor family background; that’s why they had given warnings to others.

But she thought the warnings were taken lightly by the Medium-Sized Families.

Not long after,

She received another message saying that someone stopped Instructor Jacob and Ariel from leaving City A on a Giant Eagle Beast.

Violet’s eyes flickered. She knew that the Giant Eagle was the lifeline beast of Instructor Ariel.

”Where are they going?” she asked the question in her heart.

Suddenly, a look of understanding dawned on her.

She had overlooked something important. She knew Dean Carolyn would stop this incident from being made public.

But that wasn’t the case with Jeremy Night’s family. She stood up from her seat.

”Family won’t like this,” she said to herself in a serious tone.

If the news became public, this would hit their reputation hard. It might be good on Jeremy Night’s part.

But the Beast Taming Families would take it personally. Now she understood why those instructors had left.

She decided to talk to Jeremy Night on behalf of the Heath Family. Her family was one of the shareholders in University 14.

She didn’t want to hear anything bad about her own family. They had been recruiting top talent each year into their family.

If the incident became public, then many would suffer indirectly who were not related to this incident.

She had clarity in her thoughts. She quickly left her department building. Then she headed towards the 1st Year Area.

As she walked on the path, those who knew were surprised to see her outside. She wouldn’t normally leave her department building, let alone the 3rd year area.

Those who were interested wanted to follow her. But they didn’t know how she would react. So they waited for her to walk away first before following her slowly.
