Jeremy rushes out to attack the 1st years who are encircling him. His katana blade is not covered with starlight energy, but still, it is enough to cause serious injuries to them.

Cut!

His katana blade dances in the air before striking the 1st year in front of him. The blade makes a small cut in his stomach.

Pfff!

The next second, blood starts pouring out from the Beast Tamer’s stomach. The four-legged lifeline beast next to him charges towards him in anger.

Jeremy again draws his katana to strike. The blade cuts through the surface of the hind legs, hindering its movements. When both are down, Jeremy slips away through the gap.

This all happened within minutes.

Jeremy is running without turning back. He is moving ahead, not knowing the destination, but the place ahead is deep in the wilderness.

Right now, he is moving further away from the City Wall.

The 2nd Year Beast Tamers are all surprised and shocked. They immediately give chase, not sparing a glance at the injured junior and his lifeline beast.

Robin and Rudi joined the chase, leaving behind their fellow member. In the blink of an eye, everyone has left; no one wants to stay behind and help him.

The injured first year calls back his lifeline beast. The lifeline beast can recover better inside the mental zone compared to outside.

When the lifeline beast appears back in the mental zone, he leans back against the nearest tree and starts to tend to his stomach injury.

Time passes,

Jeremy doesn’t know how long, but he can feel that people are behind him. They are not giving up. He underestimated their resolve. If he escapes successfully, then it will be all over for them.

Unknowingly, Jeremy has gone 2 miles away from the City Wall. From here, it’s the territory of all kinds of Corrupted Beasts.

This area of the wilderness doesn’t have any human settlements as well. So basically, Jeremy has no one to help him here.

Jeremy doesn’t stop walking. He is on the run. Because of the dense vegetation here, his speed is slowed down while he clears out the bushes to move forward.

He can hear the sounds of people coming behind him. His Supreme Combat Body Talent is helping him in this do-or-die situation.

His heart is unusually calm, but he feels the tension in the air. This weird combination of senses makes him appreciate his own talent.

It’s unacceptable to him that he is calculated by others. He has the strength and skill to defeat and kill the Tier-1 and Tier-2 Beast Tamers.

But he chose to let them go after giving a slight injury. He still doesn’t know the ins and outs of this issue. If he kills everyone, then it would become hard for him to justify anything without proof.

He knows there are more people out there who don’t want to see the development of the Striker Department. This will give them the opportunity to get involved as well.

So he is considering the Striker Department’s future.

Meanwhile,

”Damn, didn’t he have body type talent?”

”Then how can he outrun us?” The 2nd Year Beast Tamers are cursing under their breath.

”We should have recruited one with a flying type lifeline beast,” another one suggested.

If there was a flying type lifeline beast, then their search would have been easier. Right now, they can say it was their bad luck.

Right now, they can only rely on themselves to catch Jeremy Night. All 6 of them are moving forward while the 1st years are following them from behind.

Suddenly, one of the 2nd year Beast Tamers notices that the direction they are heading toward is dangerous. In this direction, there is a place where Tier-3 Corrupted Beasts gather.

But the second-year beast tamer is not sure. So he decides to wait for a few minutes before confirming it.

...

On the other hand, a giant eagle leaves City A and enters the wilderness. The Patrol Guards at the front have already received a message saying that someone from Central University 14 is going out.

So they don’t stop the eagle beast.

Both Jacob and Ariel don’t talk much. Their attention is on the task at hand. The Giant Eagle likes to fly above the clouds.

The long wings cut through the smaller clouds. At the back, Jacob is trying to locate Jeremy Night. Fortunately, the watches and digital devices provided by Central University 14.

They are embedded with tracking devices. They are useful in precisely this kind of situation. But he never expected this function would come in handy to find Jeremy Night.

Soon, a green light appears on the screen. Jacob’s eyes flash with a glint. The green light is the current location of Jeremy Night.

Right now, the green light is on constant move, as if Jeremy Night is running non-stop.

”I have found him. But he seems to be on the run,” he says, handing the digital device to Ariel.

Ariel sees the green signal as well. She then gives the command to the lifeline beast.

The Giant Eagle lets out a bird cry before heading towards the destination.

Within half a minute, the Giant Eagle crosses a mile of distance.

Cry!

Suddenly, the Giant Eagle lets out a cry.

Ariel Burt understands her lifeline beast’s communication. Without turning back, she says, ”There is someone injured down there.”

”First take a look,” Jacob says.

Then Ariel Burt gives a command.

The Giant Eagle then dives down from the clouds, flying towards the injured person.

In the blink of an eye, the Giant Eagle slows down its speed and gently lands on the ground.

The 1st year Beast Tamer, whose eyes are closed, suddenly senses danger. He opens his eyes and sees a massive eagle beast in front of him.

Before he can react fully, he sees two people jumping out from the back. He immediately recognizes them; they are the Instructors from Central University 14.
