Retired: Nice Guy. HAREM SYSTEM UNLOCKED

Chapter 30: 30. Hip-nosis x Hip-nosis

Walking behind Seraphine was hip-notic, hard to ignore when it’s right in front of you. I had no clue where I was going; keeping up with her words was a different challenge.

”Almost there.”

I snapped myself out of the hip-nosis and looked around. We were in a rather abandoned corner of the Greyclock Conservatory.

No sign of any students or decoration, just cleanly crafted corridors leading somewhere we weren’t going. We were facing a wall instead, for some reason.

Before I could ask, I got my answer. On the surface of the brick wall in front of us, a magic circle formed with the slight touch of Seraphine’s hand, emitting white light.

Then the magic circle broke, the white light turning into smaller light sources, flying around like fireflies. The bricks separated with a cracking sound, falling away in a strip of space, revealing a completely hidden area.

Another corridor, with elongated windows on the left side, red curtains complementing the white halls, lit candle holders on the right side of the wall, and a polished marble floor with a red elongated carpet leading to more turns in the corridor.

Although I couldn’t see how far it went, and I do mean that literally, because all I could see was thick mist covering the corridor just a few meters from me.

”Keep moving, phunk. You shouldn’t be surprised.”

Seraphine said, stepping into the corridor much more naturally than me. And she’s right, I shouldn’t be surprised, it’s a magical world. But I’m not used to any of this, even though fiction exists.

This time I didn’t fall for the hip-nosis, because the corridor felt somewhat like a liminal space. I was just amazed by it, and my head wouldn’t stay still, moving constantly.

I turned around and found that the mist had also covered the entry point, giving the same endless-corridor look on the back side. Surprisingly, that wasn’t scary.

This could be great for a music break, just walking endlessly with earphones on. Then I felt something I can’t quite describe, an urge to listen to music, but it’s I’m not in a world with technology.

Cry, Mark. What can you do?

”We are here.”

I turned my head forward. Seraphine was standing beside a single door, dark oak wood, stretched upward longer than it should have been. A gold-plated sign read ”Dr. Rhiannon Ashcarte,” and below it, in smaller font, ”Assistant of Research and Development Department.”

After my brain finished processing that, it proceeded to play moaning noises, like I was still in bed with Rue. Then I realized, no, my brain wasn’t tricking me.

The moaning noises were coming from inside. Seraphine was pissed, her pupils shrunk and her eyes darkened. Her hand rose, forming a fist, charging with energy.

She was about to break the door, wasn’t she. I should probably step back or I’ll get blown away with the door itself.

Just as I was about to step back, Seraphine... knocked. Twice. She ate her anger for the minute.

”I’m cumming! I mean coming!! Waahaa”

A sound of tripping over a table came with a seductive, lady-like voice. Then the door opened.

Dr. Rhiannon Ashcarte stood in front of us. The first thing I noticed was her glasses, since she came out adjusting them. Taller than me. Her orange hair, deep side-swept bangs, flowed wild in the best way possible, a circular hair accessory with a blue gem doing something to her whole look.

She had a bigger forehead that somehow made her eyes, nose, and mouth look seductive and mature. Her lips were wet, wearing red wine-colored lipstick. Her green eyes peeked through her lenses, her index finger and thumb together, slick and wet, as she held her glasses.

Her face’s proportions were lady-like; her neck was framed by a choker with a blue gemstone at the center.

My eyes moved a little lower. A fitted, sleeveless white mini dress featuring a deep V-neckline, an oversized, popped structural collar, and a small side slit at the thigh completed the look.

The V-neck showed off most of her cleavage, she has a healthy chest, that’s all I’ll say. My eyes refused to move lower, but I could tell she was wearing thigh-highs with heels.

Those are my favorite too, I don’t know what’s with my eyes.

ᕙ Lilathea’s Blade Harem System! ᕗ

⟨ MILF ALERT! ⟩

⟨ Name: Dr. Rhiannon Ashcarte. ⟩

⟨ Race: Human. ⟩

⟨ Age: 31. Divorced. Single. ⟩

⟨ Rank: A. ⟩

⟨ Compatibility rate: 29. ⟩

⟨ Dr. Rhiannon Ashcarte: Her husband left her because he couldn’t stand her habit of masturbating and her strong sex drive. She thinks of men as animals who just want to breed, but isn’t mad about it, because that would make her a hypocrite. ⟩

Wow... the system is basically saying go get her. Like I said before, writer, you are so damn predictable.

”Ah, so this is the boy you were talking about.”

Dr. Rhiannon wiped her two fingers on her white dress, put her palms on her knees, and leaned toward my face.

”Holding your own against a powerful enemy with no experience. Look at you, no scratches. Aren’t you strong, young man.”

She bit her lower lip, and my lovely ears did notice ”no experience” and ”strong young man” landing in quite a rhythm.

I blushed hard at that, I should have expected it. She reminded me of the time when one of my female senior classmates teased me about being a virgin.

The seductive energy in her eyes changed into gentleness. She cupped my face.

”Oh my God, you’re red. You should come inside and let me inspect you. While I’m at it, I’ll also check for any hidden injuries.”

She grabbed my arm, turned around, and pulled me into the lab. But then Seraphine blocked our path with her polearm.

”You two knuckleheads are not getting out of this. We have work to do.”

Seraphine’s eyes were dark, pitch black, and holy Mother she was about to burst.

”But we’re not going out. We’re going in. Right, little muffin?”

Dr. Rhiannon turned to me with a smile as innocent as the Virgin Mary’s, as if I was supposed to nod or say yes. She’d make a great actress with those skills, I’ll give her that.

But it just made Seraphine even madder. I wasn’t even going to look at her face, I could feel it.

Seraphine then pierced the door; a crackling sound came, and I knew the discussion was over. In one small motion of the polearm, she broke the hard, dark oak door like it was a plastic door in a dollhouse.

”No going inside either. We need to hunt down the beetle bitch as soon as possible, before word gets out to the higher-ups.”

”Okay, okay, Silver. I know, I was just messing with you, hehehe.”

Dr. Rhiannon giggled for real, childishly, acting like they were best friends. It was really strange that Seraphine’s anger had no effect on her. She behaved exactly as herself, and I liked that, my kind of thing.

”Okay. Muffin and Silver, let’s go explore that big, scary, dark, long, disgusting dungeon, or whatever it’s called.”

Dr. Rhiannon started marching down the corridor with my hand in hers, dragging me like a toddler.

”Quick, we’re already late.”

Seraphine picked up the pace and walked past us in a few seconds, biting down her anger, keeping her distance from us, perhaps to avoid engaging in conversation.

”So tell me about yourself, muffin. Name, etc.”

After a moment she stopped marching and walked like a normal person, still holding my arm, a couple’s hold. Is she that desperate? Does she have no sexual guard? Guess Seraphine was right.

”I’m Elias Thorne. You can call me by my first name.”

”Good, but no. You’re muffin to me. Silver said you know how to make potions. A really nice skill, but unbelievable for a first-year.”

Why did she even ask my name in the first place? Sister Maren had put quite a load on me by mentioning my potion-making power. Though I am not making them.

”I can actually explain how, but I do.”

”It’s fine~”

Dr. Rhiannon tightened the couple’s hold, and a shiver ran through me when her breast touched my shoulder. Hopefully I’m just drained, or I might be going crazy.

”Can you make any potion, muffin?”

She whispered in my ear, her teeth almost touching it, sending another shiver through my body, stopping my thoughts for a second.

”Y-yes. With trial and error.”

”Great!! I mean, that’s a nice little skill you have there. I don’t know anything about potions. Every time I try to make them, my poor head doesn’t cooperate.”

I noticed the change in her energy. I knew what she was trying to do. At first I thought her guard was down, but she had a motive.

”You want me to make a specific potion for you?”

I said, trying not to sound like I’d read her, and not pushing away her couple’s grip either. Because I need her for the Casllay.

”No, actually. But if I ever need one, I’ll come to you. Alright, muffin?”

”Sure.”

Dr. Rhiannon nodded and released me from the couple’s hold, lightly. And saying ”no” was a good save, but that just confirmed it.

”Wait, I have to talk with Silver.”

With a few steps she caught up to Seraphine. Just when I thought everything was normal, I looked forward and was hip-notized again.

This time the hip-nosis was twice as strong. Two different individuals, beautiful in their own way, moving with no pattern at all. One controlled, the other with no shame.

Help me.
