Pillar of Yita

”What’s that in your hand?” Fang Hong eyed the man suspiciously.

”Nothing, nothing at all.”

”Let me see it.”

”Really, it’s nothing.”

”Do you think we’re blind, Parker?” the elf girl said irritatedly, walking over and snatching the papers from him, only to find, somewhat surprisingly, that they indeed were not architectural blueprints.

Atira frowned at the papers, ”Ade, these seem to be some sort of document.”

Fang Hong also glanced at them and didn’t understand what all the dense numbers meant.

Just then, a voice rang out in his heart, ”Mr. Knight, this is a handover certificate, concerning a batch of alchemy materials, primarily gold. It says here that this is a transfer of resources from the Elpaxin Artisan Association to the Kapuka Artisan Association—”

Fang Hong furrowed his brow, then suddenly realized, ”I understand, this is the Colin Ishurian Artisan Association’s allocation. This batch of materials used to be transported via Short Bay to Kapuka, so they left a record of the inventory transfer in Dolifen. But after that, they probably started using the farther Cloud Bay—”

At this point, he suddenly stopped and looked suspiciously at Parker, ”Parker, this is a resource transfer certificate. You weren’t planning on taking these gold materials, were you?”

”Heaven,” Tianlan exclaimed, ”Parker, are you an idiot? This is the Phantom Realm!”

The Papalarians rarely blushed, ”But other people have also taken real things from this Phantom Realm, haven’t they?”

”That’s just Dragon’s Golden Eyes’ way of luring more people into this Phantom Realm. Do you really think it would create hundreds of kilograms of gold here for you?” the young girl from France couldn’t help but hold her forehead.

Only then did Parker complain dejectedly, ”Of course I know that, but isn’t it human to have some fantasies? Why must you reveal it? That’s really too much.”

His gloomy complaint made the three of them barely able to hold back their laughter.

Fang Hong patted his shoulder, consoling him, ”Don’t worry, the value of this piece of paper might well be worth as much as several hundred kilograms of gold, because it might just save our lives, and our lives are worth much more than gold.”

”That’s true,” Parker cheered up upon hearing this: ”Then I really owe it all to me.”

And this unexpectedly acquired blueprint indeed dispelled Recall’s last bit of doubt.

He of course knew of the archive Parker spoke of, which held decades of voluminous documents and records in Dolifen. To ’accidentally’ find the original engineering blueprint of Hustings Cathedral among so many archives was no simple task.

In fact, including Fang Hong, everyone had a vague feeling as though someone had given them a push from behind.

Parker kept excitedly describing his earlier feat to the others. ”Do you know how frightening that place was? Rows and rows of eerie cabinets standing tall in the dark, if I weren’t naturally courageous, I wouldn’t have dared to go in.”

”Oh,” he said, ”And above those cabinets, there was a black cat, my Lord, just staring motionlessly at me, it nearly scared me half to death—frightened, I stumbled backward into a cabinet and knocked down a row of tall cabinets, and papers fell down like snowflakes.”

”But if not for that, I wouldn’t have found this thing.”

”A cat?” Tianlan curiously interrupted him: ”You didn’t see Miss Spoon from Hudi, did you?”

Parker shook his head vigorously: ”Of course not, I bet it was a male cat, its whiskers were that long.”

Fang Hong heard this and felt a stir in his heart.

Right at that moment, a warning came from the leading Tabopolis Knight, ”Be careful, a Corpse Executioner has appeared ahead! Prepare for combat!”

Fang Hong immediately heard the sound of swords being drawn.
