She Used Me for a Dare… Now I Own Her Mother

Chapter 523: Victoria’s Welcome

The moment Victoria’s lips met his, Alex froze for a fraction of a second.

Margaret was still standing right there by the door. The shock of the sudden kiss, so open and unrestrained, caught him off guard. But the warmth of Victoria’s mouth, the soft press of her body against his, and the quiet hunger in the way she held his face quickly drowned out every other thought.

He gave in.

His hands rose to her waist, pulling her closer as he deepened the kiss. What started as her initiative soon turned into something far more intense.

Alex claimed her lips with growing hunger, tasting her thoroughly. Her mouth was softer than he remembered... tender, warm, and sweeter in a way that made something low in his chest tighten. He parted her lips with his tongue, and she met him without hesitation.

Their tongues slid against each other slowly at first, then with more urgency. Victoria leaned into him completely, pressing her body flush against his as if she wanted to erase every last bit of space between them. Her fingers curled into the front of his shirt, gripping tightly, while a soft, breathless sound escaped her throat and melted into the kiss.

The office was silent except for the quiet, wet sounds of their mouths moving together.

When they finally broke apart, both of them were breathing harder than before. A thin string of saliva briefly connected their lips before it broke. Victoria’s eyes remained half-lidded, her cheeks faintly flushed, but the hunger in her gaze had only grown stronger. It burned openly now, no longer hidden behind her usual composed mask.

Alex smiled.

He lifted his hand and gently took her chin between his fingers, tilting her face up so she had no choice but to look at him. His thumb brushed lightly over her lower lip, still slightly swollen from the kiss.

”You’re really eager,” he murmured, voice low and teasing. ”For someone of your status... the woman who runs Blackwood... you don’t even care if people see you like this, huh?”

As he spoke, his eyes briefly flicked toward the doorway.

Margaret stood frozen in place, eyes wide and face burning red. She looked as if she had forgotten how to breathe. Her gaze was locked on the two of them... on the way Victoria was still leaning into Alex, on the clear intimacy that had just played out right in front of her.

Victoria followed his glance for only a second. There was no embarrassment in her expression. If anything, a faint, almost amused curve touched the corner of her lips.

She leaned in closer, her voice dropping into a soft whisper against his mouth.

”It’s not like she doesn’t already know,” she said. ”And it’s been far too long for me to care about anything else.”

Before Alex could reply, her hands moved to his chest.

Fingers that were usually steady and precise began unbuttoning his shirt with clear intent. One button after another slipped free. She pushed the fabric open, then slid it off his shoulders completely. The shirt was pulled down his arms and, without looking, she tossed it backward.

It landed against Margaret.

The soft fabric brushed against the assistant’s arms and chest, snapping her out of her daze. Margaret’s breath hitched sharply. Her eyes finally dropped to the shirt in her hands, then lifted again — only to freeze once more.

Alex’s upper body was now fully exposed.

The lean, powerful lines of his frame stood out clearly under the soft office lighting. Defined muscle shifted slightly with each breath, the result of both training and something far beyond ordinary. Margaret’s gaze lingered for a heartbeat too long before the full weight of the situation crashed down on her.

Her face turned an even deeper shade of red.

She realized, far too late, just how inappropriate it was for her to still be standing there. Panic flickered across her features.

Without a word, she turned and started to hurry toward the door.

”Margaret.”

Victoria’s calm and clear voice cut through the air.

The younger woman stopped instantly, her back still facing them.

”Close the door,” Victoria said, her tone leaving no room for argument. ”And wait outside. If anyone tries to come in... stop them.”

Margaret’s shoulders tensed. She gave a quick, stiff nod without turning around, then stepped out into the hallway. The door clicked shut behind her a moment later, sealing the office in quiet once more.

Only the two of them remained.

Without wasting another second, Victoria pressed herself against him once more. A quiet relief settling in her chest now that they were finally alone.

Her lips found the side of his neck first, warm and insistent. Soft, open-mouthed kisses trailed downward, lingering against his skin with clear hunger. Her hands slid over the hard planes of his chest, fingers tracing the defined muscle as if she needed to feel every change for herself.

”You’ve changed so much...” she whispered against his skin, voice low and slightly unsteady. ”Everything about you feels stronger... sharper... more dangerous.”

Her mouth moved lower, pressing warm kisses along his collarbone and across his chest. Each touch carried a quiet intensity, as though she had been holding this back for far too long.

”I barely stopped myself that day in the Convocation Hall,” she murmured, a faint edge of complaint slipping into her voice. ”I kept thinking... once everything was over, I would finally have you to myself for the entire day. But instead, you had other plans... with some bitch.”

There was a clear hint of jealousy in the way she said it, soft but unmistakable.

Alex smiled.

He knew Victoria better than almost anyone. This little spark of possessiveness wasn’t truly anger... it was the result of how much she had missed him.

”So...” he said quietly, his voice carrying a low, teasing warmth, ”my girl is jealous?”

His hands settled firmly on her waist, fingers pressing into the soft curve of her body as he pulled her just a little closer.

Victoria looked up at him, eyes half-lidded, a seductive curve touching her lips.

”Heh... you better make up for th—”

Her words broke into a soft, startled breath as Alex suddenly lifted her off the ground. Her feet left the floor in one smooth motion, and her arms instinctively wrapped around his shoulders for balance.

He carried her the short distance to her own desk and set her down on the edge of it, stepping between her legs as he did.

The moment he stood between her thighs, a wave of heat rolled through her body. Having him this close... bare-chested, strong, and completely focused on her... made her pulse quicken. His scent wrapped around her, warm and addictive, drowning out every other thought.

She could feel the solid heat of his body radiating against her, and it only made the ache between her legs grow stronger.

Victoria looked up at him, still breathless, her hands resting against his bare chest. The hunger in her eyes had only grown deeper.

Alex’s hands moved without hesitation.

He cupped both of her breasts through the fabric of her blouse, pressing and squeezing them firmly. The soft, heavy weight filled his palms completely. Victoria’s breath hitched at the sudden contact, a low, throaty moan slipping from her lips as her back arched slightly toward him.

He kneaded them with clear hunger, thumbs brushing over the stiffened peaks that were already pressing against the thin material.

The way her body responded only fueled him further.

Without wasting time, his fingers went to the buttons of her blouse. One after another came undone under his steady hands. He pushed the fabric open, then slid it off her shoulders along with the straps of her bra. The delicate undergarment was unhooked and pulled away in the same motion.

Her breasts spilled free.

Full, soft, and perfectly shaped, they rose and fell with every uneven breath she took. Her nipples were already hard, flushed a deeper shade, standing out invitingly in the cool air of the office.

Alex’s eyes darkened with open desire.

He leaned down without a word and took one into his mouth, sucking deeply while his hand claimed the other, squeezing and rolling the soft flesh. His tongue circled the stiffened peak before he drew it in harder, tasting her with clear need.

”I missed these...” he murmured against her skin, voice rough. ”More than you know.”

He switched to the other breast, giving it the same thorough attention... licking, sucking, and gently biting as Victoria’s fingers slid into his hair, holding him closer. Soft, helpless sounds continued to escape her as he devoted himself to the soft weight of her breasts, as if reclaiming something he had gone too long without.

Victoria’s soft moans filled the quiet office as Alex continued to devour her breasts without restraint. His mouth moved hungrily from one to the other, sucking deeply, tongue circling and flicking over her hardened nipples before drawing them in again with firm pressure. Each pull of his lips sent a fresh shiver through her body.

Her hand rose and found the back of his head. Fingers slid into his hair, tightening as she pulled him closer, pressing his face more firmly against her soft flesh.

”Don’t stop...” she whispered, voice already growing unsteady. ”Eat them... take everything...”
