Berserk God of War

246: Chapter 246 Too Domineering 246: Chapter 246 Too Domineering Upon stepping into the Holy Dragon Footprint, a familiar sensation arose spontaneously.

As if an illusion took hold of his heart, Sikong Jing saw before him a man, a dragon, and a long spear, exactly as they were while slaughtering everything in the Long Night Star Palace.

The so-called Holy Dragon under the man was none other than the Demon Dragon that had just consumed the inner core.

Its body aflame, wings on its back, and wing bones sharp as spears!

Sikong Jing was utterly astonished, he hadn’t expected such a coincidence, but he understood why he had been drawn here—it was surely because the Demon Dragon Core shared the exact same aura as the Holy Dragon from hundreds of years ago.

What surprised Sikong Jing even more was…

The Holy Dragon Footprint, condensed by the Holy Dragon students from centuries past, still retained such terrifying power that, because he was comprehending the same kind of demonic power, it gave rise to an illusion!

In the illusion, the so-called Holy Dragon displayed unparalleled might, and the meridians of demonic power within the dragon’s body were also revealed.

Sikong Jing stared intensely, memorizing the meridians and the circulation method of the demonic power…

All of this was happening in utmost quiet, unnoticed by anyone.

It was not until the sky brightened that Sikong Jing reined in his thoughts.

He left the Holy Dragon Footprint behind, and he now had a clear grasp of the circulation method of the flame-colored Demon Dragon, ready to create a second Beast Skill of a Xuantian Realm demon beast after consolidation and integration.

However, when Sikong Jing returned to his courtyard, he found the entrance to his room bustling with activity…

“Get lost, what are you trying to do?” He then heard Su Yuexi’s scream.

Sikong Jing’s face dramatically changed, and he burst into the crowd with a roar.

His pupils contracted violently as he saw Elder Wei pinned in a corner by several strong middle-aged men, and Su Yuexi being cornered against the wall by a well-dressed young man…

She was waving her hands frantically, not letting the well-dressed young man get close.

Sikong Jing’s eyes sprang open with a murderous glint: “You, are, seeking, death!”

No matter who the well-dressed young man was, no matter what had just happened, anyone who dared to touch a hair on Yue Xi’s head would die.

No sooner had he spoken than Sikong Jing made his move…

But just then, another middle-aged man immediately flashed out beside the well-dressed young man, blocking Sikong Jing’s furious punch and then sneering, “Dare to ambush our young master, how many lives do you have?”

Sikong Jing was pushed back, a cold light flashing in his eyes.

Then he reached out and pulled, the Upper Stage Desolate long spear suddenly burst forth from the room, grasped in his hand, his aura soaring to the skies.

“Still thinking of resisting?”

“Young master, may I kill him?”

The middle-aged man glanced casually at the well-dressed young man pressing Su Yuexi closer, asking with a snicker.

His tone was relaxed, completely disregarding Sikong Jing…

The well-dressed young man suddenly turned, hehe laughing, “Then let’s see whether this kid knows better.”

As soon as he finished speaking, he sent out True Qi with one hand, lifting Su Yuexi into the air and still pinning her against the wall, then turned to Sikong Jing, “You must be this little wench’s Brother Jing, right?

Her husband?”

Sikong Jing stared at Su Yuexi, then swept over the onlookers around the place, each one with a schadenfreude expression.

The spectators here were all young prodigies set to participate in the Martial Combat Test and their accompanying personnel.

“Let me put it this way, I’ve taken a fancy to your wife and want to take her home as a concubine, name your price!” The well-dressed young man didn’t bother introducing himself and instead pressured Sikong Jing from his high position.

Sikong Jing stared at him intensely, not asking who he was, and indifferently said, “Then how much is your life worth?”

With that, Sikong Jing’s hand trembled fiercely with the long spear,

An intense killing intent rushed outwards, the spear viciously thrust towards the well-dressed young man.

Yue Xi was being oppressed against the wall by the True Qi, why would Sikong Jing bother with words?

No matter who this person was, he was to be killed!

The dead don’t deserve for their names to be remembered.

“You dare strike at our young master, do you think I don’t exist?”

The middle-aged man smirked and suddenly a large saber appeared in his hand, which he swung at Sikong Jing in a backhanded slash.

But just then, Sikong Jing snatched a sword from someone nearby.

With his left hand, he unleashed a strike, the very one: Dark Wing Black Burning Sword!

Boom…

There was a loud explosion, Sikong Jing’s Dark Wing Black Burning Sword was extinguished, but he used the momentum to twist his body and charged in front of the robed youth, a spear piercing out, impaling the latter’s shoulder before he could react.

Immediately afterwards, Sikong Jing embraced Su Yuexi with one arm, while with the other, he flicked his long spear, lifting the robed youth into midair.

Screams of agony accompanied the youth’s ascent.

Then, the whole scene went eerily silent; the onlookers who had been reveling in the misfortune had their expressions change to surprise and disbelief, for Sikong Jing’s series of movements were too fast, so fast that almost no one could keep up with their eyes.

In the blink of an eye, the tide of the battle had been completely turned by him.

“How is this possible?

That middle-aged man is of the Innate Martial Body Realm,” someone murmured in disbelief.

The Martial Body Realm is precisely the Innate Third Realm.

And Sikong Jing had become very famous after yesterday’s incident.

Everyone present knew he had a Spirit Martial Root and had only just reached the Innate Martial Acupoint Realm.

How did he do it?

“Young master…”

It took a good while for the Martial Body Realm middle-aged man to react, screaming out loud, he had never imagined that someone from the mere Innate Martial Acupoint Realm would be so formidable, and where was his arrogance now?

After a cry of rage and astonishment, he attempted to charge at Sikong Jing to rescue the robed youth.

However, Sikong Jing coldly said, “Dare to come any closer, and your young master will surely die!”

After issuing a heavy threat, he then looked towards Su Yuexi, asking with concern, “Yue Xi, you’re not hurt, are you?”

“No, they had only just appeared when you, Brother Jing, came back,” Su Yuexi said, her face pale as she shook her head.

As soon as her words fell, the other middle-aged men surrounding Elder Wei shouted in low voices, “Kid, let go of our young master, then kneel down and offer an apology, or else this old man will die.”

With that, several men pressed their sabers against Elder Wei’s neck, staring intently at Sikong Jing.

Meanwhile, the robed youth hanging from the spear ceased his screaming and threatened, “You brat from Canglong Domain, kneel before me and strip your woman bare to send her to my bed, or you will die a gruesome death.”

Upon hearing this, Sikong Jing casually retracted his spear…

With a thud, the robed youth crashed to the ground, then the former sneered, “You’re wise to— Ah!”

Before he could finish his sentence, Sikong Jing thrust his spear through his other shoulder and lifted him into the air again…

His retraction of the spear was not out of mercy for the robed youth but to show him the consequences of his words.

Sikong Jing then turned his gaze to the middle-aged men.

“I want to see whether your young master’s life is more important or your threats,” he said.

“Dare to harm Elder Wei by even a hair and believe me, I will kill him right now.”

“I, Sikong Jing, am not raised on threats.”

The entire venue was astir with flickering gazes; this kid with no Martial Root was incredibly tough, facing such a scene without any sign of backing down.

After several screams from the robed youth, he shouted again, “You bastard, do you know who I am?”

Slap!

Sikong Jing gave him a slap out of thin air on his face, snorting coldly, “I don’t know, I only know that if your people don’t release Elder Wei, my next slap will burst your head open!”
